Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a power supply system including a power generation device.
As an example of the power supply system, there is a fuel cell system described in Patent Document 1. In the fuel cell system described in Patent Document 1, the power generation characteristic of the fuel cell is calculated from the output voltage and output current of the fuel cell. The fuel cell system calculates a fuel cell system output that is power that can be supplied to the electric load among the calculated power generated by the fuel cell, and based on the fuel cell system output and the combustion energy of the fuel gas in the fuel cell. Calculate the fuel cell system efficiency. Further, the fuel cell system calculates the cumulative secondary battery energy efficiency when the secondary battery (charging device) is charged. The fuel cell system calculates the overall system efficiency based on the fuel cell system efficiency, the fuel cell system output, the secondary battery energy efficiency, and the required output for the fuel cell.
Subsequently, the fuel cell system determines the output power distribution between the fuel cell and the secondary battery (charging device) so that the overall system efficiency is maximized. That is, the fuel cell system described in Patent Document 1 determines the distribution between the fuel cell and the secondary battery (charging device) so that the loss added to the fuel cell loss and the secondary battery loss is minimized.
However, in the fuel cell system described in Patent Document 1, since the output power distribution between the fuel cell and the secondary battery is determined so that the added loss of the fuel cell loss and the secondary battery loss is minimized, 2 There is a problem that excessive discharge of the secondary battery (power storage device) occurs. This is a problem that arises because the output power distribution of the secondary battery loss increases because the secondary battery loss is smaller than the fuel cell loss.
In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide an electric power supply system that can improve practical fuel consumption.
In view of the problem, the invention according to claim 1 of the present invention is mounted on a vehicle , connected in parallel to the power generation device and the power generation device, can be charged by receiving power from the power generation device, and A power storage device that can supply power, a power distribution device that distributes output power between the power generation device and the power storage device that is supplied to an electric load, and a control unit that determines the distribution of output power and controls the power distribution device In the power supply system with the power supply system, the control unit sets an upper limit value and a lower limit value of the power generator output follow-up area, which is an output area in which the output of the power generator follows the required output of the power supply system. The control unit sets the output power region of the power supply system that can be supplied to the electric load as the low output region , the output region below the lower limit value, and the output region between the lower limit value and the upper limit value. in a power generator output tracking area And force region, when dividing the output area above the upper limit value as a high output region, mid-power region, so that the frequency-rich region of the required output of the power supply system in a predetermined period, at least the upper limit value is changed It is characterized by that.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the output history of the past electrical load (frequency of the power supply system) is determined whether the power generation device or the power storage device follows (assists) the output power supplied to the electrical load. Based on the decision. In other words, since whether to assist with the fuel cell or to assist with the power storage device is determined based on the history of the past electric load, it is possible to assist according to the way of running. As a result, for example, the frequency of assist interruption due to the assist being performed in a region where the output efficiency of the fuel cell is low can be reduced, and the practical fuel consumption can be improved.
The invention according to claim 2 is the power supply system according to claim 1, wherein the power generation device is a fuel cell, and a median value between the upper limit value and the lower limit value is the highest value in the output efficiency of the fuel cell. It is characterized by being higher.
The output efficiency of a fuel cell has a characteristic that it significantly decreases when it becomes lower than its maximum value (hereinafter referred to as the maximum efficiency output as appropriate). On the contrary, the output efficiency of the fuel cell has a characteristic that it gradually decreases in a region higher than the maximum efficiency output. According to the second aspect of the present invention, in the region where the output efficiency of the fuel cell is gradually reduced, stable power supply is achieved by making the output of the fuel cell follow the output power supplied to the electric load. Is possible.
The invention according to claim 3 is the power supply system according to claim 2, wherein the medium output region is an output region that is equal to or higher than an output at which the output efficiency of the fuel cell is a maximum value. .
According to the invention of claim 3, by setting the intermediate output region to be equal to or higher than the maximum output efficiency of the fuel cell, the intermediate output region where the assist by the fuel cell is performed is a region where the output efficiency of the fuel cell is significantly reduced. Can be prevented.
According to the present invention, when the output power region of the power supply system is divided into at least a low output region, a medium output region, and a high output region, the medium output region is a region where the output frequency of the power supply system is high, and the medium output The region follows the output power supplied to the electric load by the output power of the power generator compared to the output power of the power storage device, and the output power of the power storage device is lower than the output power of the power generator. By following the output power supplied to the electric load, the practical fuel consumption can be improved.
Next, embodiments will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

The

The
According to the fuel cell system according to Embodiment 1, in the past, the output power supplied from the power storage device can be suppressed at the output of the fuel cell system that is frequently used. As a result, excessive discharge of the power storage device can be prevented, and the power of the power storage device can be used efficiently. Thereby, the frequency at which the assist from the power storage device to the electric load is cut off can be reduced, and the fuel consumption of the fuel cell can be improved.

(Embodiment 2)
Next, the second embodiment will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing the configuration of the fuel cell system according to Embodiment 2. In the second embodiment, the same components as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted.
As shown in FIG. 2, the fuel cell system according to Embodiment 2 includes a
The

The system required
(1) Fuel cell output efficiency = (fuel cell output-auxiliary machine power consumption) ÷ hydrogen combustion energy (1)
In addition, since the method of calculating | requiring hydrogen combustion energy is described in patent document 1, it abbreviate | omits here. The fuel cell output is calculated as a value obtained by multiplying the voltage from the fuel cell by the current.
The
Here, the average value of the system output may actually be approximated using a first-order lag filter. In this way, the memory capacity can be reduced. The standard deviation may also be calculated using the result of the first-order lag filter.
Next, the operation of the fuel cell system according to Embodiment 2 will be described along FIGS. 3 and 4 with reference to FIG.
FIG. 3 is a diagram for explaining an example of the operation of the fuel cell system. In FIG. 3, the vertical axis represents the efficiency of the fuel cell output and the frequency of the fuel cell system output, and the horizontal axis represents the fuel cell output (FC output) and the fuel cell system output (system output). A characteristic curve A1 indicates the efficiency of the fuel cell output and corresponds to the FC output. A characteristic curve B1 shows a system consumption histogram representing the output frequency of the fuel cell system, and corresponds to the system output.

When the
According to the fuel cell system of the second embodiment, the average value and the standard deviation are obtained from the output frequency of the fuel cell system, and the follow-up upper limit value is obtained from the average value and the standard deviation. The follow-up upper limit value can be obtained in response to changes in the system output. Therefore, even if the past history in the output of the fuel cell system changes with the passage of time, the output area of the fuel cell system that is frequently used can be reliably identified.

According to the fuel cell system according to Embodiment 3, the average value and the standard deviation are obtained from the output frequency of the fuel cell system, and the follow-up lower limit value is obtained based on the average value and the standard deviation. The follow-up lower limit value can be obtained corresponding to the change in the output of the accompanying fuel cell system. Therefore, even if the past history in the output of the fuel cell system changes with the passage of time, the output area of the fuel cell system that is frequently used can be reliably identified.
(Embodiment 4)
Next, the fourth embodiment will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 8 is a block diagram showing the configuration of the fuel cell system according to Embodiment 4. In the fourth embodiment, the same components as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted.
As shown in FIG. 8, the fuel cell system according to Embodiment 4 is the same as the fuel cell system according to Embodiment 1, except that the auxiliary
The auxiliary machine
The
In this case, the
FIG. 9 is a diagram for explaining an example of the operation of the fuel cell system according to Embodiment 4. In FIG. 9, the vertical axis indicates the fuel cell output efficiency, and the horizontal axis indicates the output power (FC output) of the fuel cell. A characteristic curve G1 shows the efficiency of the fuel cell output.

The
For example, as shown by the characteristic curve H <b> 1 in FIG. 10, the follow-up lower limit value is changed based on the temperature from the

In the flow of FIG. 14, when adding a step of calculating the tracking lower limit value by subtracting the standard deviation from the average value of the system required output, and performing the limit process of the power generation basic target value with this tracking lower limit value, This is the operation of the control unit of the third embodiment. Next, Embodiment 7 will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 20 is a block diagram showing a configuration of a fuel cell system according to Embodiment 7. In the seventh embodiment, the same components as those in the first to sixth embodiments are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted.

According to the fuel cell system of the seventh embodiment, the effects described below can be obtained.
First, as shown in FIG. 21, as the temperature of the fuel cell 101 (FIG. 20) is lower, the follow-up upper limit value is raised, so that the

(Modification)
The present invention has the effect of preventing excessive discharge of the charging device. It is useful for mobile generators such as vehicles, ships, aircraft and portable generators, or small household generators.
In the present embodiment, the follow-up upper limit value or the follow-up lower limit value is calculated by adding or subtracting the standard deviation to the average value of the output of the fuel cell system in the past fixed period. However, in the present embodiment, not limited to this, for example, when the value of the standard deviation is σ, a value according to the standard deviation such as a value of 1.5σ, a value of 1.96σ, a value of 0.7σ, etc. The follow-up upper limit value or the follow-up lower limit value may be calculated by adding or subtracting to the average value.
Further, in the present embodiment, the follow-up lower limit value is determined based on the graphs illustrated in FIGS. 9 to 12, but is not limited thereto, and may be determined by the method described in FIG. 24.
FIG. 24 is a diagram for explaining an example of the operation of the fuel cell system according to Embodiment 4. 24, the same components as those in FIG. 9 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted.
As shown in FIG. 24, the tracking lower limit value may be determined from the range of the
In the
H2→2H++2e−・・・(3) H 2 → 2H + + 2e − (3)
However, in a situation where the output of the
C+H2O→CO2+4H++4e+・・・(4) C + H 2 O → CO 2 + 4H + + 4e + (4)
Pt→Pt2 ++2e+・・・(5) Pt → Pt 2 + + 2e + (5)
