Description
本発明は、グリーンの上もしくはカップインしたゴルフボールをパターヘッドによってプレーヤーが立ったままの姿勢で屈まずに、容易、確実に拾い上げるためのゴルフパターに関する。
従来のものは開口部にＬ字状の板バネを設けている。また、その開口部に爪片をスプリングで出入可能にしている。そしてカップインしたボールを板バネ、又は爪片で引っ掛けて拾い上げるパターが知られている（例えば特許文献１）。

従来のパターでは、Ｌ字状の板バネと開口部との隙間に砂や土片が挟まってしまう。また、爪片の摺動部に砂や土片が詰まる。すると板バネや爪片の動きが悪くなりボールに傷を付けたり、ボールを拾うことができなくなる。本発明は、砂や土片に影響されることなく、容易、確実に立ったままの姿勢でボールを拾い上げることができるゴルフパターを提供する。
本発明においては上記課題を解決するために、ヘッドのフェース面後部にゴルフボールが出入り可能な開口部を設け、その開口部の側方、下部に弾性変形可能な舌片を押さえ板、及びネジで片持ち梁状に固定し、舌片の自由端は開口部内に突出し、該舌片の上部に、上部方向への舌片の変形を許容する切り欠き部をヘッドの開口面に形成したゴルフパターとする。なお、好ましくは押さえ板の外端部形状は開口部の円弧と一連とする。
ゴルフパターの開口部のヘッド開口面に砂や土片が付いていても、グリーン上もしくはカップインしたゴルフボールを容易、確実に、かつ、ボールに傷をつけずに拾い上げることができる。
ヘッド１のフェース面２の後部に上下方向に貫通し、ゴルフボールが出入り可能な大きさの開口部３を設ける。弾性変形可能な金属製の平面状舌片４は図４、図５に示す如く、開口部３のヘッド側方、下部に押さえ板５とネジ６で固定されている。舌片４の自由端は開口部３に内に突出する。舌片４の上部には、切り欠き部７が開口部３のヘッド開口面に形成されている。
図２に示す如く、開口部３の径Ｄは、ゴルフボールの直径よりやや大きく、開口部３の端面から舌片４までの長さＬはゴルフボールの直径よりやや小さくなっている。また、ヘッド１の両先端部８、９の間隔Ｌ２は開口部３の径Ｄよりも小さくなっている。
舌片４の上部には、図４に示す如く上部方向への舌片４の変形を許容する切り欠き部７があるため、舌片４の固定部から自由端までの自由長を十分に確保でき、ヘッド１の開口部３のヘッド開口面よりの舌片４の突出長さを極めて小さくすることができる。また、ボール拾い上げ時における舌片４のボールへの押しつけ力が小さくなってボールを傷つけることがない。切り欠き部７があるため、砂や土片が開口部３に入っても舌片４の動きに支障がなく、容易、確実に拾い上げることができる。また、押さえ板５の外端部形状は図３に示す如く開口部３の円弧と一連になっているためデザイン上好ましい。
開口部３が円形の場合においては、舌片４の位置は開口部３の内であればどこでもよく複数個所あってもよい。舌片４の材質は弾性変形可能なものであればゴム、樹脂（プラスティック）であってもよい。また、舌片４は、ピアノ線等を用いた線条、もしくはループ状でも構わない。
次にゴルフボールを拾い上げる動作について説明する。グリーン上にあるボールの真上にヘッドの開口部３を位置させて、ヘッドを押しつけると舌片４がボールの通過により切り欠き部７内で弾性変形する。そしてボールが通過すると舌片４が元に戻りボールが舌片４に引っかかって、パターを引き上げることによりプレーヤーが立ったままの姿勢で腰を屈めずにボールを拾い上げることができる。また、ヘッド１の両先端部８、９の間隔Ｌ２は指の入る程度の長さにするとボールを手に取りやすくなる。さらに、ヘッド１の大きさをカップより小さく形成すれば、カップ内に落ちたボールも拾い上げることが可能である。また、開口部３の形状は円形以外でもよく、図６に開口部３の第２実施例を、図７に開口部３の第３実施例を示した。

Claims (2)
- ヘッドのフェース面後部にゴルフボールが出入り可能な開口部を設け、その開口部の側方、下部に弾性変形可能な舌片を押さえ板、及びネジで片持ち梁状に固定し、舌片の自由端は開口部内に突出し、該舌片の上部に、上部方向への舌片の変形を許容する切り欠き部をヘッドの開口面に形成したゴルフパター。
- 押さえ板の外端部形状は開口部の円弧と一連になっていることを特徴とする請求項１記載のゴルフパター。
