Description

The present invention relates to a towel analog in which a towel main body having a size and shape of a towel analog is cut out from a long raw fabric, and the towel main body is subjected to a release end treatment, and a manufacturing method thereof.
In addition, a towel analog is a general term which means a handkerchief, a hand towel, a bath towel, etc. other than a towel.

Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 12, a hem portion 2 woven with a plain weave structure that becomes an end portion of the towel when the towel is completed, around a towel body 1 woven with a pile structure of the size of one towel. 3 is manufactured in advance, and the center of the hem portion 2 of the plain weave structure of the original fabric is cut (see FIG. 13; in the illustrated case, the hem portion 3 matches the towel size). Since the hem portions 2 and 3 are not subjected to cutting, the towels are manufactured by carrying out end-stop processing by three-winding sewing as shown in FIG. 14 or two-fold sewing (bag sewing).
For example, such conventional techniques are disclosed in the following patent documents. (In this document, the hem part is expressed as a vertical ear part or a horizontal ear part.)

However, this kind of unclamped edge treatment is sewn with a pile of plain woven fabric (more dense than the pile structure) in the hem, so when used as a towel, it dries faster than other parts, and compared with the pile structure. Then the feel of the hem part was bad.
Furthermore, since the three-turn sewing and the two-fold sewing are performed, the front and back sides become clear at the end portion. Therefore, it is necessary to worry about the front and back sides of the towel when used, which is troublesome.
In addition to this, since it is necessary to pre-weave a plain weave structure (hem part) that will be the end of the towel when the towel is completed, the size and shape of the towel must be determined at the stage of manufacturing the original fabric. Towels of any size and shape could not be cut out from the manufactured original fabric, and the versatility of the original fabric was lacking.
JP 2001-346713 A

It is a feature of the present invention that it is not necessary to consider the size and shape of the towel at the stage of manufacturing the original fabric, and that the manufactured original fabric can be cut into an arbitrary size and shape so that the towel can be manufactured.
In addition, in addition, the end of the towel body cut out from the original fabric woven only with a pile structure without a plain weave hem part (which is naturally woven with a pile structure) is the conventional example described in paragraph 0002. It is difficult to perform the unlocking end processing by such three-turn sewing and two-fold sewing because the pile structure is bulky, and even if it can be executed, it will be twisted before and after use of the towel or lose its shape So it was not done.
It is also an object of the present invention to improve the drying and feel of the towel end so that the front side and the back side of the towel are not distinguished.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the towel analog of the present invention includes a towel body woven only with a pile structure, and the towel body.
(1) Place the splicing yarn up or down along the edge of the towel body.
(2) Using an overlock sewing machine, sew stitches so as to substantially cover the entire outer periphery of the towel body and the splicing yarn.
At this time, the twisting width is set to the width of the spliced yarn, and the pitch of the splicing is made fine enough that the splicing is not visible when the scissoring is completed.
(3) The accessory thread is sewn near the end of the towel body with a needle thread of an overlock sewing machine.
The structure which gave the non-breaking-end part process mentioned above was comprised fundamentally.

In the present invention, since the original fabric is woven only with a pile structure, it is not necessary to consider the size and shape of the towel analog at the stage of manufacturing the original fabric, and the versatility is expanded.
In addition, a special unscrewing edge treatment has been applied, so there will be no twisted or deformed state before and after using the towel, and the towel edge will dry and feel better. There are special effects such as indistinguishable.

The best embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail (see the drawings).
First, the Example which manufactures the rectangular towel whose edge part is linear is demonstrated.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a finished towel manufactured in this embodiment, FIG. 2 is an explanatory view when a towel body is cut out from the original fabric, and FIGS. 3 to 5 are special unlocking edges employed in this embodiment. It is explanatory drawing (FIG. 5 is sectional drawing) of a part process.
The towel manufacturing procedure in this example is as follows. The towel body 10 was cut into a rectangular shape (desired size) from a raw fabric woven only with a pile structure (see FIG. 2). A special unscrewing edge processing is applied.

As shown in FIG. 3, the splicing yarn 20 is placed on the upper surface (or the lower surface, FIG. 3 shows a state of being placed on the upper surface) of the towel body 10 along the linear side edge 15 </ b> A of the towel body 10. To do.
In addition, as a specific example of the splicing yarn 20, a string-like member having a diameter of about 2 to 3 mm and having flexibility and good drying properties, such as wool yarn and nylon bulky yarn, is preferable.

After placing the splicing yarn 20, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, sew stitching is performed using an overlock sewing machine so as to substantially cover the entire outer periphery of the end portion 15 </ b> A of the towel body 10 and the splicing yarn 20.
Reference numeral 30 in FIGS. 4 and 5 is a sewing thread used for the seam stitching, and is overlocked as shown in FIG. 4 so as to substantially cover the entire outer periphery of the end 15A of the towel body and the splicing thread 20. The sewing width of the sewing machine is set to the width of the splicing thread 20 and the pitch of the scissor sewing is made so fine that the splicing thread 20 cannot be seen when the overlock sewing is completed. Here, the covering rate of the spliced yarn by the hand-sewn is 70% or more, and preferably 95% or more is covered with the scooping yarn.
This operation is performed on all end portions (rectangular four sides) of the towel body 10.
In this embodiment, a needle thread N as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 is wound using a stitch composed of a total of three sewing threads 30, one upper thread and one lower looper thread L1, L2. Although stitching has been performed, it is natural that the stitching may be performed by seam stitching using stitches other than the mode shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 of two or more needle threads, one looper thread, or three or more.
Moreover, if the sewing thread 30 used for these is a flexible and water-absorbing bulky thread, the texture and drying property of the finished towel end are improved, which is preferable.
Further, using the needle thread N (see FIG. 6), the spliced yarn 20 is sewn to the vicinity of the end 15A of the towel main body (a part spaced apart from the end).

According to this embodiment, since the original fabric can be woven only with a pile structure, it is not necessary to consider the size of the towel at the stage of manufacturing the original fabric, and the convenience of manufacturing the original fabric is measured and manufactured. The versatility of the fabric is expanded.
In addition, the end of the towel body was sewed and sewn with the spliced yarn as the end-of-tack treatment, so the end of the towel body was reinforced and the mold could be used even after repeated use of the towel or repeated washing. It does not collapse (maintenance of the contour shape), and unraveling of the pile structure at the end of the towel body (cut edge) can be completely prevented.
In addition, bulky yarn with good flexibility and dryness is used as a splicing thread and sewing thread, so the feel of the towel end is good, and the drying condition of the towel end is not delayed compared to the towel body when using the towel. It was.
In addition, since the splicing thread is sewn near the end of the towel body with the needle thread, the relative position between the splicing thread and the towel body is fixed (the splicing thread does not move freely), and the twisted state is due to long-term use of the towel or washing. And out of shape.
Furthermore, if the towel body and spliced yarn (including twisted yarn) are used in different colors (for example, the towel body is yellow and the spliced yarn and twisted thread are green), the design (decorative) ) The effect can be expected.
In addition, since the outer periphery of the towel is covered with twisted yarn, there is no need to distinguish between the front side and the back side of the towel, and extra care is not required when using the towel.

Another embodiment relating to the unlocking edge processing will be described (see FIG. 8).
The splicing placement procedure described in paragraph 0012 is the same and will not be described.
Next, using the over-lock sewing machine, the process of seam sewing and splicing sewing that substantially covers the entire outer periphery of the end of the towel body and the splicing thread is repeated twice.
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 8 (a), the first time is performed by roughing the pitch of the stitches (as well as the splicing pitch) as indicated by reference numeral 35, and the splicing yarn 20 is temporarily attached to the towel body. Stop.
As shown in FIG. 8B, the second time is performed by finely setting the stitching pitch (including the splicing sewing pitch) as in the paragraph 0011.
Note that the width of the twist is the same as in the previous embodiment.
According to this embodiment, since the splicing yarn is temporarily fixed at the first time, even a beginner can easily perform the second operation.
Further, this is particularly effective when an end portion described later has a curved portion instead of a linear shape.
For example, it is preferable that the pitch of the first (temporary fastening) neck stitch is 10 to 15 stitches per 1 cm, and the second time is that the tension of the sewing thread is relaxed or the pitch is 15 to 20 stitches per 1 cm.

Still another embodiment relating to the end shape will be described with reference to FIGS.
In this embodiment, the towel end shape is not only a straight line but also includes a curved portion 55.
For example, a shoulder towel used in a beauty salon corresponds to this.
The procedure for manufacturing the towel may adopt the temporary fixing described in paragraph 0013, and the other steps are almost the same as those described so far, and will be omitted.
In addition, the design (decorative) effect in which the towel body and the splicing yarn are different colors and the effect that the front side and the back side of the towel are not distinguished are particularly effective in the case of a shoulder towel used in a beauty salon.

In these examples, the case of a towel has been described, but it is obvious that the same effect can be obtained by using a handkerchief of a pile structure, a towel, a bath towel or the like other than the towel. Moreover, although only the pile fabric was demonstrated in the present Example, it cannot be overemphasized that it is effective when it uses as a untap end part process of the fabric which does not have a knitted fabric and a pile.
