Description
Claims (10)
- 装置であって、
WPANコーディネータにより、通信を連係し、近傍発見ができる無線パーソナル・エリア・ネットワーク(WPAN)において動作可能なトランシーバ
を備え、
次のスーパー・フレームの最初においてデータ・チャネル上で前記WPAN内の他のデバイスがその全方向性訓練系列を送信する順序及び時間スロットを規定する、前記WPANの低帯域の帯域外(OOB)制御チャネル上で前記WPANコーディネータによってビーコンが送信され、
他のデバイスの前記全方向性訓練系列を傍受し、かつ、ビーコン・フレームに規定された送信の順序を使用することにより、近傍位置発見が行われる装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置であって、前記装置又は前記他のデバイスは、前記訓練系列の送信を傍受することにより、近傍の位置をマッピングする装置。
- 請求項1記載の装置であって、前記WPANの前記データ・チャネルが60GHz帯で動作し、前記低帯域の帯域外(OOB)制御チャネルは前記60GHz帯未満の周波数帯を使用する装置。
- 請求項1記載の装置であって、少なくとも1つのビーコンが更に、訓練系列送信の特定の順序の前に前記データ・チャネル上で送信される装置。
- 請求項1記載の装置であって、前記WPANの前記データ・チャネルが60GHz帯で動作し、前記低帯域の帯域外(OOB)制御チャネルは2.4GHz、5GHz、又は6GHz帯で動作する装置。
- 無線パーソナル・エリア・ネットワークにおける、近傍発見の方法であって、
WPANコーディネータにより、無線パーソナル・エリア・ネットワーク(WPAN)における通信を連係する工程と、
次のス―パーフレームの最初においてデータ・チャネル上で前記WPANにおいて動作する他のデバイスがその全方向性訓練系列を送信する順序及び時間スロットを規定する、前記WPANの低帯域の帯域外(OOB)制御チャネルを使用して前記WPANコーディネータによってビーコンを送信する工程と
を含み、
他のデバイスの前記全方向性訓練系列の送信を傍受し、ビーコン・フレームに規定された送信の順序を使用することにより、近傍位置発見が行われる、近傍発見の方法。 - 請求項6記載の近傍発見の方法であって、前記訓練系列の送信を傍受することにより、近傍の位置を前記WPANコーディネータ又は前記他のデバイスによってマッピングする工程を更に含む、近傍発見の方法。
- 請求項6記載の近傍発見の方法であって、前記WPANの前記データ・チャネルが60GHz帯で動作し、前記低帯域の帯域外(OOB)制御チャネルは前記60GHz帯未満の周波数帯を使用する、近傍発見の方法。
- 請求項6記載の近傍発見の方法であって、訓練系列送信の特定の順序の前に前記データ・チャネル上で少なくとも1つのビーコンを送信する工程を更に含む、近傍発見の方法。
- 請求項6記載の近傍発見の方法であって、前記WPANの前記データ・チャネルが60GHz帯で動作し、前記低帯域の帯域外(OOB)制御チャネルは2.4GHz、5GHz、又は6GHz帯で動作する、近傍発見の方法。
