Description
圧縮可能材料から形成され、
第1の構成部品と第2の構成部品の間の流体封止のための第1の封止面及び第2の封止面と、
前記第1の封止面及び/又は前記第2の封止面の近傍に設けられ、少なくともガスケットの第1の部分の上に広がることによって、前記第1の部分のガスケットの圧縮率を増加させる複数の窪みとを有する。

前記流体フローフィールドプレートと前記膜電極接合体の間で前記ガスケットに圧縮圧力をかけることにより、その間に流体を封止するステップとを含む。

Claims (13)
- 圧縮可能材料から形成されたガスケットであって、
第1の構成部品と第2の構成部品の間で流体を封止する第1の封止面及び第2の封止面と、
前記第1の封止面及び/又は前記第2の封止面の近傍に設けられ、少なくともガスケットの第1の部位の上に広がることによって、前記第1の部位のガスケットの圧縮率を増加させる複数の窪みとを有しており、
前記ガスケットの前記第1の部位は、閉塞セル領域を含んでおり、前記閉塞セル領域は、互いに分離された窪みを有しており、
前記ガスケットの第2の部位は、開放セル領域を含んでおり、前記開放セル領域は、相互に繋がった窪みを含んでおり、前記開放セル領域の前記窪みは、複数の流体供給チャネルを形成しており、前記流体供給チャネルは、ガスケット内で前記第1の封止面の近傍に備えられ、それぞれ、ガスケットの厚みの少なくとも一部に到る深さを有する、
ガスケット。 - 請求項1に記載されたガスケットであって、前記窪みの密度又は前記窪みの体積は、前記第1の封止面と前記第2の封止面の少なくとも一方において一様でない、ガスケット。
- 請求項1に記載されたガスケットであって、前記窪みの密度又は前記窪みの体積は、前記第1の封止面と前記第2の封止面とで相違する、ガスケット。
- 請求項3に記載されたガスケットであって、前記窪みの密度又は前記窪みの体積は、選択された、対向するガスケットの表面部位同士で相違する、
ガスケット。 - 請求項1に記載されたガスケットであって、前記複数の窪みは、1以上の規則的な配列で並んでいる、
ガスケット。 - 請求項1乃至5の何れかに記載されたガスケットであって、前記複数の窪みの長さ寸法の平均は、0.1〜1mmの範囲内である、
ガスケット。 - 請求項1乃至6の何れかに記載されたガスケットであって、前記複数の窪みの体積の平均は、0.001〜1mm3の範囲内である、
ガスケット。 - 請求項1乃至7の何れかに記載されたガスケットであって、前記窪みは、立方形である、
ガスケット。 - 請求項1に記載されたガスケットであって、前記複数の流体供給チャネルは、流入口及び/又は流出口を含む孔と流路が連通している、
ガスケット。 - 請求項9に記載されたガスケットであって、前記複数の流体供給チャネルは、燃料電池の膜電極接合体と流路が連通している、
ガスケット。 - 請求項1乃至10の何れかに記載されたガスケットであって、
複数の窪みが設けられ、圧縮可能材料からなる第1層と、
前記第1層の近傍に相対的圧縮不可能材料からなる第2層とを含む、
ガスケット。 - 燃料電池の封止方法であって、
請求項1乃至11の何れかに記載されたガスケットを供給するステップと、
流体フローフィールドプレートと膜電極接合体の間に前記ガスケットを配置するステップと、
前記流体フローフィールドプレートと前記膜電極接合体の間で前記ガスケットに圧縮圧力をかけることにより、その間に流体を封止するステップとを含む、
燃料電池の封止方法。 - 燃料電池であって、
膜電極接合体と、
流体フローフィールドプレートと、
請求項1乃至11の何れかに記載されたガスケットと、
