屋外側筒及び屋内側筒は縦長の矩形筒状に形成され、屋外側筒及び屋内側筒の底部内面には、屋内外方向に伸びる突起が複数条並設され、
屋内側筒の屋外側半部が屋外側筒に深浅自在に嵌め込まれることにより、郵便物を収納する収納空間が形成されるよう構成され、屋内側筒の屋内側半部が建物外壁の開口部よりも膨大し且つ建物外壁から屋内側に突出するよう構成されていることを特徴とする郵便受け箱
