Description
The present invention relates to a touch panel protection device, a touch panel protection method, and a touch panel protection program suitable for protecting a touch panel or a device body with an information processing device such as a mobile phone having a touch panel disposed on the front surface of the display device.
このため、PDA(Personal Digital Assistants)や小型のコンピュータはもちろんのこと、携帯電話機やPHS(Personal Handyphone System)にもその採用が拡大している。 An information processing apparatus in which a touch panel is attached to a display device can perform an intuitive input operation on displayed content. For this reason, not only PDA (Personal Digital Assistants) and small computers but also mobile phones and PHS (Personal Handyphone System) have been adopted.
However, information processing apparatuses equipped with touch panels have become widespread, and their uses have expanded, and user handling has become diversified. For this reason, the danger that an unexpected press will be applied to a touch panel will generate | occur | produce and the danger that the internal circuit of a display apparatus or an information processing apparatus will be damaged has increased. For example, if a cellular phone equipped with a touch panel is placed in a pants pocket with the panel surface facing out, the display device may be damaged.
However, in the case of the first related technology, not only a device for projecting and receiving light is arranged around the coordinate input device, but also the incident light is reflected in the direction of arrival around the display unit of the coordinate input device. It is necessary to provide a retroreflective surface. For this reason, the information processing apparatus provided with the coordinate input device is not only increased in size, but also has a problem that power consumption of the information processing apparatus increases because it is necessary to always project light.
In the case of the second related technology, since the pressure detectors are arranged one by one at the four corners of the bottom of the display keyboard for display, the information processing device becomes thicker by the thickness of the pressure detector. There is. In addition, if the display keyboard is not facing up, such as when the user is lying down and operating the information processing device, the pressure applied to the pressure detector may be reduced or negative pressure may be applied. There was also a risk of occurrence.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a touch panel protection device, a touch panel protection method, and a touch panel protection program that can protect a panel surface from an external force without adding a special device around the touch panel.

And time measuring means, and (e) measuring the stop time of the stop time measuring means, stop time comparison means for comparing a threshold indicating the maximum hours of preset time expected by the application software in operation, ( to) an alarm sound output means for outputting an alarm sound when the stop time compared with the stopping time comparison means is equal to or higher than the threshold that the touch panel protection device comprises.
In the present invention, (a) an electrode pattern composed of a large number of electrodes for capacitance detection arranged on the same surface at intervals, and a panel having a predetermined interval with respect to the surface constituting the electrode pattern Press for detecting the press position of a touch panel in a touch panel provided with a transparent film that is disposed at a position on the surface and discharges a charge at a position close to the press position for discharge among the electrodes constituting the electrode pattern described above A position detection step; (b) a center position continuous holding presence / absence determining step for determining whether the center of the pressed position detected in the pressed position detecting step is continuously held at one position; and (c) the center position. When it is determined in the continuous holding presence / absence determining step that the center of the pressed position is continuously held at one position, the duration is set as the stop time. A stop time measuring step of measuring Te, (d) stopping time comparing the stop time measured by the stop time measuring step, a threshold indicating the maximum hours of preset time expected by the application software in operation compared and step (e) touch protection method and an alarm sound output step downtime compared with the stopping time comparison step of outputting a warning sound when the threshold value or more described above is provided.
Furthermore, in the present invention, an electrode pattern composed of a large number of electrodes for capacitance detection arranged at intervals on the same surface, and a panel surface having a predetermined interval with respect to the surface constituting the electrode pattern. A touch panel protection program for a computer of an information processing apparatus having a touch panel and a transparent film that is disposed at a position and has a transparent film that discharges a charge close to a pressing position for discharging among electrodes constituting the electrode pattern described above And (b) determining whether the center of the pressed position detected by the pressed position detecting process is continuously held at one position. Center position continuation holding presence / absence determination processing, and (c) the center of the pressed position described above is connected to one position by this center position continuation holding presence / absence determination processing. Maximum and stop time measurement processing, the stop time measured by (d) the stop time measuring process, contemplated by the application software in operation of measuring the duration upon determining that the manner is held as downtime a stop time comparison process of comparing a threshold that indicates the time set time or more in advance, and (e) alarm sound output process of outputting the warning sound when the above threshold stop time is above a comparison with the stop time comparison process Let it run.
As described above, according to the present invention, an electrode pattern composed of a large number of capacitance detection electrodes arranged at intervals on the same surface, and a predetermined interval with respect to the surface constituting the electrode pattern. Using the detection output itself of the touch panel provided with a transparent film that is arranged at a position to be the surface of the placed panel and discharges the charge at a position close to the pressing position for discharging among the electrodes constituting the electrode pattern described above To detect abnormalities in the pressure applied to the touch panel . Therefore, it is not necessary to add a special device to the information processing apparatus including the capacitance detection type touch panel. For this reason, there is an effect that the touch panel can be protected without increasing the size of the information processing apparatus or increasing the weight.

First Embodiment of the Invention>
Next, a first embodiment of the present invention will be described.
この携帯電話機100は、CPU(Central Processing Unit)101と、このCPU101が実行する制御プログラムをその一部に格納したROM(Read Only Memory)等のメモリ102を備えた主制御部103を有している。
FIG. 10 shows a circuit configuration of a mobile phone using the touch panel protection device according to the embodiment of the present invention. The
The
The operation input unit 111 includes switches such as a key switch and a slide switch (not shown), and constitutes an input unit other than the
Note that at least a part of various devices such as the pressed
FIG. 11 shows the position detection principle of the pressed position detection unit. This will be described with reference to FIG.
The
In FIG. 11, the
FIG. 12 shows the calculation principle of the pressing area by the pressing area calculation unit. This will be described with reference to FIG. A
A
By the way, the pressing area calculated by the pressing
On the other hand, the area increase
The area increase rate calculated by the area increase
On the other hand, the stop
The threshold
FIG. 13 shows an example of the touch panel alarm setting screen. The user can display the touch panel
On the touch panel
The fourth threshold TH 4 for the last “alarm for exceeding the one-point stationary time” is set to 2 minutes as a default value, but the user can change it to an arbitrary time. Further, the user can also select an alarm output form by the
FIG. 14 shows an alarm output process related to the touch panel according to the present embodiment. This will be described with reference to FIGS. 10 and 13.
When receiving a report that the third threshold value TH 3 has been exceeded (step S201: Y), the
If it is set not to output an “acceleration (impact) alarm” (step S202: N), the process returns to the first control without outputting an alarm (return). Similarly, no alarm is output when all outputs in the “alarm output method” are not set.
When receiving a report that the second threshold value TH 2 has been exceeded (Step S201: N, Step S204: Y), the
If it is set not to output the “warning against pressing of a large area” (step S205: N), the processing is returned to the first control without outputting the warning (return). Similarly, no alarm is output when all outputs in the “alarm output method” are not set.
On the other hand, when the
If it is set not to output the “warning for exceeding the one-point stationary time” (step S208: N), the processing is returned to the first control without outputting the warning (return). Similarly, no alarm is output when all outputs in the “alarm output method” are not set.
As described above, according to the present embodiment, not only can the

Note that there is a slight difference in the softness of the skin depending on the user's age, gender, occupation type, or individual difference, and there is a possibility that a slight error may occur in the calculation of the area increase
