Claims (4)
- 表示領域と端子部を有する素子基板に、前記表示領域を覆って接着材シートが形成され、前記接着剤シートに封止基板が接着している有機EL表示装置の製造方法において、
前記有機EL表示装置は、前記封止基板が複数形成されるマザー封止基板と、前記素子基板が複数形成されるマザー素子基板と前記マザー封止基板と前記マザー素子基板を接着するマザー接着材シートとから形成されるマザーパネルから分離されて形成され、
前記マザー接着材シートは、目合わせマークおよび接着材除去部を有し、
前記マザー接着材シートを前記マザー封止基板に接着し、
前記マザー封止基板を前記マザー接着材シートに形成された目合わせマークを基準に前記マザー素子基板に接着し、
前記接着材除去部は前記マザー素子基板に形成された複数の前記端子部に配置されるように前記マザー封止基板および前記マザー素子基板を接着し、
前記マザー接着材シートは1枚であり、前記接着材除去部は長尺状であって前記複数の前記端子部に共通に形成され、前記接着材除去部の1端は前記マザー接着材シートによって閉止され、前記接着材除去部の他端は、前記マザー接着材シートの端部にまで達して外側雰囲気と通じており、
前記マザー素子基板と前記マザー封止基板を、前記マザー接着材シートを介して減圧雰囲気中で接着することを特徴とする有機EL表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記マザー接着材シートはロール状フィルムとなった保護フィルムに貼りつけられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機EL表示装置。
- 表示領域と端子部を有する素子基板と封止基板が前記表示領域に形成された接着材を介して接着している有機EL表示装置の製造方法において、
前記有機EL表示装置は、前記封止基板が複数形成されるマザー封止基板と、前記素子基板が複数形成されるマザー素子基板と前記マザー封止基板と前記マザー素子基板を接着する接着材とから形成されるマザーパネルから分離されて形成され、
前記接着材は、前記マザー素子基板に形成される複数の表示領域を覆うが、前記マザー素子基板に形成される複数の前記端子部は覆わないように接着材除去部を有し、かつ、目合わせマークが形成されるように前記マザー封止基板に塗付し、
前記接着材は連続しており、前記接着材除去部は長尺状であって前記複数の前記端子部に共通に形成され、前記接着材除去部の1端は前記接着材によって閉止され、前記接着材除去部の他端は、前記マザー素子基板端部にまで達して外側雰囲気と通じており、
前記マザー素子基板と前記マザー封止基板を、前記接着材を介して減圧雰囲気中で接着することを特徴とする有機EL表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記塗付はスクリーン印刷によって行なわれることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機EL表示装置の製造方法。
