(2)第m番の回における計算されたネットワーク状態は、前の回によって既に決定されているAPの負荷に影響を与える(増加させる)べきではない。
Claims (4)
- 無線ネットワーク内の負荷を平衡化するための方法であって、
該ネットワークにおける1つ又は複数のアクセス・ポイントAPによって伝送される1つ又は複数のビーコン・メッセージの電力レベルを変更するステップと、
該APの1つ又は複数のデータ・トラフィック・チャネルの電力レベルを維持するステップと、
各APに関して、該APに関する最適電力レベル設定以上である最大ビーコン・メッセージ電力レベルを決定するステップと、
該ネットワークにおける輻輳したAPのビーコン・メッセージ電力レベルを、該輻輳したAPのすべてに関する最適電力レベルが平衡化した負荷状態に達するまで、該決定された最大ビーコン・メッセージ電力レベルから繰り返し、徐々に低減するステップと、
該複数の低減のうち1回の低減に関連し、該ネットワークにおける該平衡化した負荷状態にさらに関連するビーコン・メッセージ電力レベルのセットを格納するステップと、
ビーコン・メッセージ電力レベルの該セットを該輻輳したAPに適用して、輻輳を最小限に抑えると共に該平衡化した負荷状態を達成するステップとを含む方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法において、
各APにかかる負荷、及び各APに割り当てられた1名又は複数名のユーザに関する情報を収集するステップをさらに含む方法。 - 請求項2に記載の方法において、
各APにかかる負荷、及び各APに割り当てられた1名又は複数名のユーザに関する該情報は、各APに関する現在の負荷、及び現在のユーザ割り当てを含む方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法において、
繰り返しの各回の電力レベル低減の後、輻輳負荷を決定するステップと、
該決定された負荷を、格納された現在の最低の輻輳負荷と比較するステップと、
該決定された負荷が、該現在の最低の負荷より低い場合、該決定された負荷を次の最低の輻輳負荷として格納するステップと、
最終回の後、格納された最低の輻輳負荷に関連するビーコン・メッセージ電力レベルを該輻輳したAPに適用して、輻輳を最小限に抑えるステップとをさらに含む方法。
