Claims (2)
- パルス時間幅が350fs〜10psで、パルスエネルギーが2μJ〜1Jの短パルスレーザ光を発生するパルス光源と、
前記パルス光源から発生された前記短パルスレーザ光のパルスフロントを光軸と直交する面に対して所定の角度傾斜させるパルスフロント傾斜手段と、
前記パルスフロント傾斜手段で所定の傾斜角度傾斜された前記短パルスレーザ光が入射されてテラヘルツ波を発生する非線形結晶と、
前記非線形結晶から発生されるテラヘルツ波を検出するテラヘルツ波検出手段と、を有し、
前記テラヘルツ波検出手段は、EO(Electro-optic)サンプリング型であり、
前記パルス光源から発生される短パルスレーザ光をポンプ光パルスとプローブ光パルスに分割する光分割手段と、
前記光分割手段で分割された前記プローブ光パルスの時間遅延を制御する光学遅延手段と、
前記光分割手段で分割されたプローブ光パルスを増幅する増幅手段及び或いは前記プローブ光パルスのパルス時間幅を圧縮する圧縮器を備えることを特徴とするテラヘルツ波発生装置。 - 前記パルス光源は、ファイバーレーザを含む請求項1に記載のテラヘルツ波発生装置。
