本発明に係る種籾の温湯消毒装置1おいては、種籾容器4を吊持して昇降および移動させる自動搬送装置5が、作業域6、温湯タンク2および冷水タンク3上に亘る単線往復経路を構成しているものであり、作業域6側を往路の移動始点、冷水タンク3側を往路の移動終点とし、作業域6側を復路の移動終点とするものであるから、種籾容器4の移動経路は1系統であってそれを往路および復路に使用するものである。しかし、一般的に冷水浸漬時間より温湯浸漬時間の方が長く、この種籾の温湯浸漬とその後の冷水浸漬の経過時間差およびそれぞれの所要時間差を有効に利用することにより、温湯浸漬時間中に種籾容器4を最も離れている冷水タンク3と作業域6間を移動させるようにし、移動による作業時間のロスが少なくできる。しかも単線往復経路のように構成自体が簡素なものであっても作業の進行に滞りがなく、容易にしかも効率的な作業を行うことができるものである。   In the hot water disinfection device 1 for seed potato according to the present invention, an automatic transfer device 5 that lifts and lowers and moves the seed potato container 4 has a single-wire reciprocating path over the work area 6, the hot water tank 2, and the cold water tank 3. 種籾を温湯に浸して病原菌を死滅ないし不活化する種籾の温湯消毒装置であって、
種籾を温湯に浸す温湯タンクと、温湯に浸した種籾を冷水に浸す冷水タンクと、種籾を収容する通水性の種籾容器と、前記種籾容器を昇降および移動させる自動搬送装置とで構成され、前記温湯タンクおよび冷水タンクを自動搬送装置による種籾容器の移動経路に並べて配置してあり、
前記自動搬送装置の一端側に、前記種籾容器の移動経路内に種籾容器を搬入し搬出する作業域を設けるとともに、該自動搬送装置による種籾容器の移動経路に、作業域、温湯タンクおよび冷水タンクの順に単線往復経路を構成して並べて配置し、前記作業域側を往路の移動始点、前記冷水タンク側を往路の移動終点とし、前記作業域側を復路の移動終点とし、かつ、前記作業域には前記自動搬送装置に対して前後方向に前記種籾容器を2個並べて置くことができる作業台を設け、この作業台の後方側略半分は前記自動搬送装置の種籾容器の移動経路から後方に出ており、その作業台の後方に載置した種籾容器は前方へ移動させて前記種籾容器の移動経路内に挿入するように構成したことを特徴とする種籾の温湯消毒装置。
