Description

The present invention relates to a heavy object fixing wall for fixing a heavy object such as a large screen television or a picture.

In recent years, large-screen televisions such as liquid crystal and plasma have become low-priced, and the sales volume of these large-screen televisions is increasing rapidly. Large-screen TVs such as liquid crystal and plasma are thinner than conventional CRT TVs, so you can not only support the large-screen TV from the floor with a TV stand like before, but also make the room clean by hanging it on the wall It is also proposed that

However, because of the large weight of a large-screen TV, although it is thin, it is not something that can be hung anywhere on the existing wall surface. However, because there are many cases where there are no pillars at the desired position, it is not necessary to directly fix the large screen TV to the existing wall surface. And attach a large-screen TV (hereinafter referred to as “heavy object” as a concept that encompasses all objects used on a large-screen TV, paintings or other walls) to the heavy-weight fixing wall. Has been proposed (for example, Patent Document 1).

The heavy object fixing wall 1 of Patent Document 1 will be briefly described with reference to FIG. 17. The heavy object fixing wall 1 is arranged on the surface side of the existing wall surface A, and the upper end is screwed to the existing ceiling surface B. The frame 3 fixed at 2 and having the lower end fixed to the existing floor C, a plurality of horizontal beams 4 installed on the frame 3 in the horizontal direction, and a heavy object A heavy load attachment plate 5 that receives most of the load of X, a plurality of decorative plates 6 that are attached to the surface of the frame 3 so as to cover the heavy load attachment plate 5, and a front end face of the horizontal rail 4 The attached base portion 7a, the projecting piece 7b projecting from the base portion 7a, and the upper engaging piece projecting in the vertical direction from the front end portion of the projecting piece 7b and extending in the left-right direction with substantially the same length as the lateral width of the decorative plate 6 7c and the lower engaging piece 7d, and the fixture 7 integrally formed. And the engagement groove | channel 8 with which the upper engagement piece 7c or the lower engagement piece 7d of the fixture 7 is engaged is provided in the upper end surface and lower end surface of the decorative board 6, It is attached to the surface of the frame 3 via the fixture 7.

According to the heavy object fixing wall 1, the heavy object X fixed to the heavy object attachment plate 5 via the decorative plate 6 by the metal fitting is supported by the existing ceiling surface B and floor surface C via the frame 3. Therefore, the heavy object X can be fixed at a desired position regardless of the position of the existing pillar D.
JP 2007-224619 A

However, according to the weight fixing wall 1 of the above-mentioned Patent Document 1, there are the following problems. That is, the frame 3 of the heavy-weight fixing wall 1 occupies the existing ceiling surface B to the floor surface C from the mounting method on the front side of the existing wall surface A. When a hanging door is to be attached to the upper part of the screen TV, it must be attached in front of the heavy object fixing wall 1 and the hanging door comes out to the front by the thickness of the heavy object fixing wall 1. There was a problem of space loss and poor appearance.

Further, when attaching the plurality of decorative plates 6 to the frame 3, after fitting the upper engaging pieces 7 c of the fixture 7 in the engaging grooves 8 provided on the lower end surface of the decorative plate 6, The lower engagement piece 7d of another fixture 7 is fitted into the engagement groove 8 provided on the upper end surface of the decorative plate 6 while the plate 6 is kept along the surface of the frame 3, and in this state The other fixture 7 must be fixed to the surface of the horizontal rail 4 with a nail 9a or the like, and there is a problem that the workability of the decorative board 6 is poor. More specifically, since the upper end surface of the decorative plate 6 attached to the uppermost stage cannot be fixed by the fixture 7, the upper end portion of the uppermost decorative plate 6 must be fixed to the frame 3 with a nail 9b or the like. In other words, the heads of the nails 9b and the like are exposed and there is a problem that the appearance is poor.

In addition, when the engagement groove 8 is provided on the end surface of the decorative plate 6, the thickness of the decorative plate 6 around the engagement groove 8 is inevitably thin, and the strength of the end surface is insufficient, so that it is being conveyed or assembled. There was a problem of damage. This is particularly remarkable when an inorganic board (calcium silicate board, volcanic glassy multilayer board, or the like) is used as the decorative board 6. Further, since the engagement groove 8 is provided, there is a problem that a thin plate material cannot be used for the decorative plate 6. Moreover, according to the thickness of the decorative board 6, the fixture 7 from which the length of the protrusion 7b differs must be prepared, and there also existed a problem that the kind of fixture 7 increased.

The present invention has been developed in view of such problems of the prior art. Therefore, a main object of the present invention is to provide a heavy object fixing wall capable of solving the above-described problems.

The invention described in claim 1 is described as follows: “A pair of left and right vertical frames 24, a pair of upper and lower horizontal frames 26, and a horizontal rail 28 that is installed between the pair of vertical frames 24 and fixed to an existing pillar D. A frame 12 that is constructed between a plurality of vertical rails 30 that are installed between the pair of horizontal frames 26 and fixed to the horizontal rails 28, and whose rear surface is attached to an existing wall surface A;
A heavy load attachment plate 14 which is installed between the plurality of vertical rails 30 to which the heavy load X is fixed;
An upper decorative plate 16 attached to the uppermost portion of the surface of the frame 12 on the front side of the heavy load attaching plate 14;
A lower decorative plate 18 attached adjacent to the lower end of the upper decorative plate 16;
The heavy article fixing wall 10 includes an upper decorative plate attachment 20 for attaching the upper decorative plate 16 to the frame 12, and a lower decorative plate attachment 22 for attaching the lower decorative plate 18 to the frame 12. Because
The upper decorative plate mounting tool 20 for attaching the upper decorative plate 16 is:
The attached member 44 projecting from one of the pair of vertical frames 24 toward the other vertical frame 24, and attached to the back surface of the upper decorative plate 16, and upward on the back surface side of the upper decorative plate 16 It is composed of an attachment member 42 having an attachment recess 48 that is opened and into which the attached member 44 is fitted,
The lower decorative plate mounting tool 22 for attaching the lower decorative plate 18 is:
The attached member 44 projecting from one of the pair of vertical frames 24 toward the other vertical frame 24, and attached to the back surface of the lower decorative plate 18, and downward on the back surface side of the lower decorative plate 18 It is composed of an attachment member 42 having an attachment recess 48 that is opened and into which the attached member 44 is fitted,
One of the opposing surfaces of the upper decorative plate 16 and the lower decorative plate 18 is provided with a convex member 70 extending toward the other surface, corresponding to the convex member 70 on the other surface. In the position, there is provided a fitting hole 72 into which the convex member 70 is fitted.

According to the present invention, since the frame body 12 is supported by the existing pillar D via the horizontal rail 28, the heavy object fixing wall 10 is held in a state of being separated from the existing ceiling surface B and floor surface C. Can do.

Further, the upper decorative plate 16 and the lower decorative plate 18 (the number of decorative plates may be three or more. In this case, the third and subsequent decorative plates are sequentially attached to the lower side of the lower decorative plate 18). When attaching the frame 12 to the frame 12, first, the lower decorative plate 18 is attached to the frame 12 via the lower decorative plate attachment 22, and then the upper decorative plate attachment 20 and the upper decorative plate 16 are attached to the frame 12. Attach to. More specifically, the lower decorative plate 18 is lowered from the position slightly higher than the planned mounting position to the planned mounting position along the surface of the frame body 12. At this time, the mounting recesses 48 of the mounting member 42 opened downward receive the mounted members 44 projecting from the respective vertical frames 24 of the frame body 12 toward the other vertical frame 24 from below. The attachment member 44 engages with the attachment member 42, and as a result, the lower decorative plate 18 is fixed to the surface of the frame body 12.

Next, the upper decorative plate 16 is slightly inclined, and the attached member 44 is fitted into the attachment recess 48 of the attaching member 42 that opens upward, and the lower end portion of the upper decorative plate 16 is centered on the attached member 44. The upper decorative plate 16 is moved along the surface of the frame 12 by rotating toward the frame 12, and then the upper decorative plate 16 is moved downward toward the lower decorative plate 18, so that the convex member 70 is By fitting into the fitting hole 72, the upper decorative plate 16 and the lower decorative plate 18 are attached to predetermined positions of the frame body 12. Thus, it is only necessary to provide the convex member 70 or the fitting hole 72 on the mutually opposing end surfaces of the upper decorative plate 16 and the lower decorative plate 18, and it is not necessary to provide an engaging groove as in the prior art.

Further, as described above, the upper decorative plate 16 and the lower decorative plate 18 are directly joined to each other by fitting one provided convex member 70 into the fitting hole 72 provided on the other, Unlike the technology, there is no need to use a fitting such as a fixture attached to the frame.

According to the present invention, it is possible to fix a heavy object such as a large-screen TV at a desired position regardless of the position of an existing column. For example, even when it is desired to attach a suspension door to the upper part of a large-screen television, no space loss occurs, and it can be attached with a good appearance. Further, even when an AV rack or the like that accommodates a DVD recorder or the like is arranged on the floor surface, similarly, no space loss occurs and the arrangement can be arranged with good appearance.

Further, as described above, the upper decorative plate and the lower decorative plate can be attached to the frame body without using a tool such as a hammer or a screwdriver, so that the workability of the decorative plates (upper decorative plate and lower decorative plate) is improved. It can be significantly improved. At the same time, since the head of a nail or a bolt is not exposed on the surface of the decorative board, the surface of the decorative board can be finished with a good appearance.

Furthermore, since it is not necessary to provide engagement grooves on the end faces of the upper decorative plate and the lower decorative plate, the thickness of the decorative plate is reduced, the strength of the end surface is insufficient, and the decorative plate is not damaged. Can be used. Further, since the decorative plates can be directly joined to each other, it is not necessary to prepare a plurality of types of metal fittings according to the thickness of the decorative plate.

The heavy object fixing wall 10 to which the present invention is applied is used for fixing a heavy object X such as a large screen television or a picture. As shown in FIGS. Mounting plate 14, upper decorative plate 16, lower decorative plate 18 (in this embodiment, the case where two decorative plates are used will be described, but the number of decorative plates may be three or more, In this case, the third and subsequent decorative plates are sequentially attached to the lower side of the lower decorative plate 18.), an upper decorative plate fixture 20 for attaching the upper decorative plate 16 to the surface of the frame 12, and the lower decorative plate 18 Is attached to the surface of the frame body 12.

The frame 12 frames a pair of left and right vertical frames 24, a pair of upper and lower horizontal frames 26, and a top plate 27 that is not an essential component, and three horizontal bars 28 between the pair of vertical frames 24. Further, two prismatic vertical bars 30 are fixed to the surface of each horizontal bar 28 with L-shaped brackets 32 so as to be installed between a pair of horizontal frames 26. By using the L-shaped bracket 32 in this way, the bracket is not undesirably protruding on the front surface of the vertical beam 30, and the heavy load mounting plate 14 can be fixed at a desired position on the front surface of the vertical beam 30. .

Further, as shown in FIG. 9, the lower side frame 26, the top plate 27 (the upper side frame 26 is joined in advance) and the side bars 28 extend in the longitudinal direction on both end faces. A pair of pins (dowels) 80 protrudes, and a hole (dwelling hole) 82 for receiving the pins 80 is provided at the joining position of the horizontal frame 26, the top plate 27 and the horizontal rail 28 in the vertical frame 24. ing. When the top plate 27 is not provided, the pin 80 is projected from the upper horizontal frame 26.

The upper horizontal frame 26 is attached to the back surface side of the frame body 12 with respect to the vertical rail 30 and is flush with the rear surface of the vertical frame 24, and the frame body 12 is attached to the existing wall surface A. Sometimes it comes in contact with wall surface A. On the other hand, the lower horizontal frame 26 is attached to the surface side of the frame 12 with respect to the vertical rail 30. As a result, when the heavy object fixing wall 10 is attached to the existing wall surface A, a space can be formed between the lower lateral frame 26 and the wall surface A, such as a large screen television as the heavy object X, etc. It becomes easy to insert the wiring cord.

Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the width t1 of the vertical frame 24 is set to be the same as the total dimension of the thickness t2 of the horizontal beam 28, the thickness t3 of the vertical beam 30, and the thickness t4 of the heavy load mounting plate 14 (described later). The surface of the heavy load attachment plate 14 and the end surface of the vertical frame 24 are flush with each other, and the back surface of the upper decorative plate 16 and the lower decorative plate 18 attached to the surface of the frame 12 and the heavy load attachment plate 14. Are in contact with each other.

In addition, on the inner surfaces (= inner surfaces) of the vertical frame 24 facing each other, attached members 44 (described later) constituting the upper decorative plate mounting tool 20 and the lower decorative plate mounting tool 22 face each other in pairs. It is attached to the position (when there are two decorative plates as in this embodiment, six attached members 44 are used).

The number of horizontal bars 28 is appropriately selected according to the dimensions of the frame body 12, the weight of the heavy object X to be fixed, and the positions of the existing pillars, and may be one or two or more. May be. Similarly, the vertical rail 30 is also appropriately selected according to the dimensions of the frame body 12 and the weight of the weight X to be fixed. As will be described later, the weight attachment plate 14 on which the weight of the weight X is directly applied is provided. In order to construct it, at least two vertical bars 30 are required. Moreover, the shape of the vertical frame 24, the horizontal frame 26, the horizontal crosspiece 28, and the vertical crosspiece 30 can be selected as appropriate, such as a prismatic shape, a cylindrical shape, or a surface decorated.

The heavy load attachment plate 14 is a rectangular plate material to which the heavy load X is fixed, and is installed on both vertical bars 30 by screws 34 as shown in FIG. In addition, an insertion hole 36 is provided at a substantially central portion of the heavy load attaching plate 14 for inserting the wiring cord when a heavy load X having a wiring cord such as a large-screen television is attached. When attaching a heavy object X such as a painting which is not necessary, it is not necessary to provide this insertion hole 36). In addition, in order to improve the appearance when the inside of the frame body 12 is viewed from the insertion hole 40 at a position corresponding to the insertion hole 40 (described later) provided at the substantially lower end of the lower decorative plate 18, A plate 37 is attached with screws 34.

The upper decorative plate 16 and the lower decorative plate 18 are rectangular plate materials that are attached to the top and bottom of the surface of the frame 12 so as to cover the heavy load attachment plate 14, and as shown in FIG. Is formed so as to cover the entire surface of the frame body 12 without any gaps in a state in which the lower end surface thereof and the upper end surface of the lower decorative plate 18 are in contact with each other (of course, covering a part of the surface of the frame body 12 Or it may be wider than the surface of the frame 12).

Similarly to the heavy load attachment plate 14 described above, the upper decorative plate 16 has an insertion hole 38 for inserting a wiring cord such as a large screen television as the heavy load X. Is provided at a position corresponding to. Of course, when the heavy article X has no wiring cord, it is not necessary to provide the insertion hole 38. Furthermore, the upper decorative plate 16 and the lower decorative plate 18 are each fixed to the frame body 12 by four screws 39 as necessary (the screws 39 are exposed to the weight fixing walls with the heads of the screws 39 exposed). 10 so that the head of the screw 39 is covered with a washer 39a and a decorative cap 39b so that the appearance of 10 is not deteriorated.) However, the screw 39 more firmly frames the upper decorative plate 16 and the lower decorative plate 18 with a frame. It is used when it is necessary to fix the body 12 and is not an essential component of the present invention. Further, an insertion hole 40 for inserting a wiring of an external speaker (not shown) or the like is provided at a substantially central lower end portion of the lower decorative board 18, and the insertion hole 40 is a removable wiring cover 41. It is blocked.

Further, as shown in FIG. 5, two attachment members 42 (described later) constituting the upper decorative plate attachment 20 are attached to the upper corner of the back surface of the upper decorative plate 16 as a pair. As shown in FIG. 6, four attachment members 42 (described later) constituting the lower decorative plate attachment 22 are attached to the four corners on the back surface of the plate 18.

Moreover, the upper end surface of the lower decorative board 18 is provided with a pin (dowel) 70 as a convex member 70 extending toward the lower end face of the opposing upper decorative board 16 (FIG. 6). On the other hand, a fitting hole (dough hole) 72 into which the pin 70 is fitted is provided at a position corresponding to the pin 70 on the lower end surface of the upper decorative plate 16 (FIG. 5). Further, the height t5 of the pin 70 is set shorter than the depth t6 of the mounting recess 48 in the mounting member 42 of the upper decorative plate mounting tool 20 described later. In addition, the shape of the convex member 70 is not limited to the pin, and the shape of the fitting hole 72 only needs to correspond to the convex member 70. Further, the convex member 70 may be provided on the lower end surface of the upper decorative plate 16, and the fitting hole 72 may be formed on the upper end surface of the lower decorative plate 18.

As shown in FIG. 7, the upper decorative plate mounting tool 20 and the lower decorative plate mounting tool 22 are attached to the mounting member 42 attached to the back surface of the upper decorative plate 16 or the lower decorative plate 18 and the vertical frame 24 of the frame body 12. The attached member 44 to be attached is configured as one set. The difference between the upper decorative plate mounting tool 20 (FIG. 7A) and the lower decorative plate mounting tool 22 (FIG. 7B) is only that the mounting direction of the mounting member 42 is different, as will be described later. Therefore, hereinafter, the shapes of the mounting member 42 and the mounted member 44 will be described first, and then the position and orientation of the mounting member 42 and the mounted member 44 will be described.

The attachment member 42 is a plate material having a substantially Z-shaped cross section, and is formed integrally with the base 46 and the base 46 attached to the back surface of the upper decorative plate 16 or the lower decorative plate 18. On the back side of the plate 18, there is an attachment recess forming portion 50 that forms an attachment recess 48 into which a locked portion 56 (described later) of the attached member 44 is fitted. The base 46 is provided with two screw holes 52 at a predetermined interval in the longitudinal direction of the mounting member 42.

The attached member 44 includes a rectangular plate-like base portion 54 attached to the vertical frame 24 of the frame body 12, and a locked portion 56 that protrudes from the base portion 54 and fits into the mounting recess 48 described above. In addition, one surface of the locked portion 56 is formed flush with one side surface of the base portion 54. The base 54 is provided with two screw holes 58 at a predetermined interval in the longitudinal direction of the base 54.

As described above, the attached member 44 is attached to the vertical frame 24 of the frame body 12 with screws 60 so as to face the other attached members. That is, the locked portion 56 of the attached member 44 attached to one vertical frame 24 protrudes toward the other vertical frame 24. Further, the mounting position of the mounted member 44 is set so that one surface of the locked portion 56 is flush with the surface of the frame body 12.

As described above, the attachment members 42 are attached to the upper corners of the back surface of the upper decorative plate 16 and the four corners of the rear surface of the lower decorative plate 18 with screws 62, and are respectively fitted to the corresponding attached members 44. The upper decorative plate 16 or the lower decorative plate 18 is set so as to be positioned at a predetermined location. Further, the attachment member 42 attached to the upper decorative plate 16 is attached so as to receive the locked portion 56 of the corresponding attached member 44 from above, that is, so that the attachment recess 48 opens upward. (FIG. 7A). On the other hand, the attachment member 42 attached to the lower decorative plate 18 is attached so as to receive the locked portion 56 of the corresponding attached member 44 from below, that is, to open below the attachment recess 48. (FIG. 7B).

Note that the shape of the mounting member 42 is not limited to that described above. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 8, a mounting recess forming portion 50 having an L-shaped cross section is integrally projected from a substantially central portion of the base portion 46. The mounting recess 48 may be formed between the distal end portion of the base 46 and the mounting recess forming portion 50.

Regarding the procedure for fixing the heavy article X using the heavy article fixing wall 10 to which the present invention is applied, the procedure for first attaching the heavy article fixing wall 10 to the existing wall surface A will be described. A case where a large-screen television is fixed will be described as an example.

As shown in FIG. 9, the horizontal frame 26 and the horizontal rail 28 are joined to the vertical frame 24 by fitting the pins 80 into the holes 82. In addition, you may use the adhesive agent 84 for joining to the horizontal frame 26 and the horizontal rail 28, and the vertical frame 24 as needed.

Then, as shown in FIG. 10, the L-shaped bracket 32 is fixed to the surface of each horizontal rail 28 with screws 86, and the vertical rail 30 is fixed to the L-shaped bracket 32 with screws 86 to form the frame 12. To do. After the frame body 12 is formed, each attached member 44 of the upper decorative plate attachment 20 and the lower decorative plate attachment 22 is attached to the vertical frame 24 with screws 62. Of course, the frame body 12 may be formed using the vertical frame 24 to which the attached member 44 is attached in advance.

Next, as shown in FIG. 11, with the frame 12 held at a desired position on the existing wall surface A, the upper horizontal frame 26 and each cross rail 28 are connected to the existing column D (a large column or a column by a screw 64). It may be fixed). At that time, it goes without saying that the vertical and horizontal of the frame 12 should be confirmed using the level E. Also, care should be taken so that the frame 12 does not interfere with the existing power outlet or the TV antenna terminal F installed on the existing wall surface A so that wiring can be easily performed. In the present embodiment, three horizontal bars 28 are fixed to three existing pillars D using nine screws 64, but the number of screws 64 and horizontal bars 28 is not limited to this, and the weight The optimum number is selected according to the weight of the object X and the number or position of the columns.

After the frame body 12 is fixed to the existing wall surface A, the heavy load attachment plate 14 and the wiring decorative plate 37 are fixed to the vertical rail 30 of the frame body 12 with screws 34 as shown in FIG.

And the upper decorative board 16 and the lower decorative board 18 which attached the attachment member 42 beforehand to the back surface are attached in the following procedures. That is, as shown in FIG. 13, the lower decorative plate 18 is lowered from a position slightly higher than the planned attachment position to the planned installation position along the surface of the frame body 12. At this time, the mounting recess 48 formed on the back surface of the lower decorative plate 18 receives the locked portion 56 of the mounted member 44 attached to the vertical frame 24 of the frame body 12 from below, thereby lowering the lower decorative plate. 18 is fixed to the surface of the frame 12.

After fixing the lower decorative plate 18 to the surface of the frame body 12, as shown in FIG. 14, the upper decorative plate 16 is slightly inclined, and the mounted member 44 is placed in the mounting recess 48 of the mounting member 42 that opens upward. The upper decorative plate 16 is rotated along the surface of the frame body 12 by rotating the lower end portion of the upper decorative plate 16 toward the frame body 12 with the attached member 44 as the central axis. Thereafter, the upper decorative plate 16 is moved downward toward the lower decorative plate 18, and the pin 70 provided on the upper end surface of the lower decorative plate 18 is inserted into the fitting hole 72 formed in the lower end surface of the upper decorative plate 16. By fitting, the upper decorative plate 16 and the lower decorative plate 18 are attached to desired positions of the frame body 12. Further, the upper decorative plate 16 and the lower decorative plate 18 are fixed to the frame body 12 with screws 39. With the above procedure, the attachment of the heavy object fixing wall 10 to the existing wall surface A is completed.

As shown in FIG. 1, the large-screen TV X is fixed to the heavy object fixing wall 10 by avoiding the insertion holes 38 and 40 with a dedicated mounting bracket Y provided by the manufacturer for each large-screen TV to be fixed. After attaching to the heavy object fixing wall 10 and inserting the wiring cord or the like from the large screen television X through the insertion holes 36 and 38, the large screen television X is fixed to the mounting bracket Y. At that time, the mounting bracket Y is always fixed to the heavy load mounting plate 14 on the back surface via the upper decorative plate 16 and / or the lower decorative plate 18 with screws or the like. As described above, the case where the large screen television is fixed as the heavy object X on the heavy object fixing wall 10 has been described. However, the same procedure is basically used when other paintings are fixed.

Note that the heavy object fixing wall 10 according to the present invention can naturally cope with not only the case where the heavy object X is wall-mounted but also the stationary object. For example, as shown in FIG. 15, when the large screen television X is supported from the top surface of the AV rack G or the like using a support stand Z or the like, the large screen television X is prevented from falling down due to an earthquake. A heavy object fixing wall 10 can be used. That is, as shown in FIG. 16, a through hole 90 is provided in the upper decorative plate 16, the lower decorative plate 18 or the heavy load attaching plate 14 of the heavy load fixing wall 10 (when the through hole 90 is provided in the heavy load attaching plate 14. , Through holes 90 are also provided at corresponding positions on the upper decorative plate 16 or the lower decorative plate 18.) A plurality of demon nuts 92 (two in this embodiment) are fitted in advance from the back surface thereof. Then, eyebolts 94 are inserted into the through-holes 90 from the surface of the heavyweight fixing wall 10 and screwed into the demon nut 92 to fix the eyebolt 94 to the heavyweight fixing wall 10. Finally, both ends of the fall-prevention wires 96 attached to the large screen television X are respectively connected to the eyebolts 94.

Thereby, even if the large-screen TV X is shaken by an earthquake, the large-screen TV X does not fall because it is connected to the heavy object fixing wall 10 via the fall-preventing wire 96 and the eyebolt 94.
