Description
供試ハニカム構造体Sは、図6に示すように、突起部4が、一方のハニカムセグメント2にのみ、前述した図2(c)の配置例にしたがって固設されており、他方のハニカムセグメント2の被接着面は平坦面に形成されており、突起部4の固設側の被接着面に接着剤層3を1mmの厚さに塗布した後、他方のハニカムセグメント2を貼り合わせて、1.0kgf/cmで加圧し、100℃、30分乾燥して形成した。供試ハニカム構造体Sは、長さL1=150mm、幅L2=35mmの矩形平面からなる被接着面を有して形成されている。突起部4は、長さL2=35mm、幅L3=10mmの矩形平面を有して形成されており、離間距離L4=10mmを保って8個設けられている。
供試ハニカム構造体S1は、図8(a)に示すように、71×30×15mmの試験片s1、s2を接着層3を介して接合して構成されている。この供試ハニカム構造体S1において、符号Cは塗布側界面を示し、符号Dは接着側界面を示している。
Claims (1)
- 隔壁により仕切られ軸方向に貫通する多数の流通孔を有する多孔質ハニカムセグメントが、接着剤層を介して複数個結束されて構成されるセラミックハニカム構造体の製造方法であって、
相互に接着される2個の多孔質ハニカムセグメントの対向する前記被接着面の内、一の被接着面に突起部が固設されると共に、他の被接着面は平坦面に形成されており、
前記一の被接着面の突起部を埋没させながら接着剤を施与して前記接着剤層を形成し、その後、前記接着剤層を介在させて前記他の被接着面との対向間隔が狭まる方向に押圧して前記2個の多孔質ハニカムセグメントを接着するセラミックハニカム構造体の製造方法。
