互いに対向する一対の搬送面の間に形成された搬送路に沿って用紙を搬送する用紙搬送装置において、
一方の搬送面を形成し、装置本体に開閉自在に軸支された開閉カバーと、
他方の搬送面を形成し、装置本体に回転自在に軸支されるとともに前記開閉カバーの開閉に応じて回転するガイド部材と、
前記開閉カバーの搬送幅方向の両側に設けられた一対のロック部材と、
装置本体に設けられ、前記開閉カバーの閉位置で前記一対のロック部材に係合するロック受け部材と、
搬送幅方向の一方側に設けられ、前記開閉カバーの閉位置で前記開閉カバーの閉状態を検知するスイッチ部材と、
前記開閉カバーの搬送幅方向の両側に設けられた案内面と、
前記ガイド部材に形成され、前記開閉カバーの閉位置で前記案内面に当接し、前記開閉カバーの開位置で前記案内面から離間し、前記開閉カバーの開閉操作で前記案内面を摺動するように夫々の前記案内面に対向する一対の案内部と、
