Description
プロペラ100では、羽根110の全てが流体内に位置している場合は、羽根110の様々な迎え角がプロペラ100に推進の方向を与える。このタイプのプロペラは、シャフト130で、基部115に対して平行に通過するあらゆる液体流れ方向に対するトルクを生成することができ、垂直軸風力タービン設備において成功的に使用されている。
Claims (13)
- 波エネルギー変換システムであって、
メインシャフト、
前記メインシャフトと共に回転すべく該メインシャフトに取り付けられた第1の基部、
各羽根が前記メインシャフトからオフセットして配置された、一枚以上の羽根からなる羽根群とを含む循環プロペラ、及び
前記各羽根の羽根角を調節すべく前記羽根を該羽根の軸の周りに回転させために、前記羽根の第1の端部を前記第1の基部に取り付ける第1の回転装置を含む循環プロペラと、
波が伝播される水の性質をセンシングするセンサ装置と、
前記センサ装置及び前記第1の回転装置に作動可能に接続された、前記羽根のピッチサイクルを制御するための制御装置とを備える
前記第1の回転装置は、前記制御装置の制御下で前記対応する羽根を回転させるべく該羽根に連結されたサーボモータを含み、
前記波エネルギー変換システムは、
第2の基部と、
前記各羽根の第2の端部を前記第2の基部に取り付ける第2の回転装置とをさらに備え、
前記制御装置は、前記各羽根を個別にねじるために、前記第1及び第2の回転装置を制御することができることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
前記各羽根は、水中で垂直方向に延びることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
前記各羽根は、水中で水平方向に延びることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
前記センサ装置が水中での流体流れの方向及び大きさを測定し、
前記制御装置が前記流体流れの測定結果に基づいて前記各ピッチサイクルの大きさ及び回転数を調節することを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
前記センサ装置は、
流体流れの抗力を受ける物体と、
前記物体に作用する抗力を測定すべく前記物体に連結された力トランスデューサとを含むことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
前記センサ装置は、前記羽根群の内の対応する1つの羽根を回転させるのに必要な力を測定することを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
前記センサ装置は、前記羽根群の内の1つの羽根の表面の圧力を検出すべく該羽根に取り付けられた圧力センサを含むことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
前記循環プロペラが設置される、水面に浮かぶプラットホームをさらに備えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
循環プロペラが設置される、水域の水底に設置されたプラットホームをさらに備えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
循環プロペラが設置される、水中に沈められ水面と水域の水底との間に配置されたプラットホームをさらに備えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 波からエネルギーを抽出するために請求項1に記載のシステムを作動させる方法であって、
循環プロペラの羽根を、波が伝播される液体中に設置するステップと、
前記波によって生じた流体流れを測定するステップと、
前記流体流れの測定結果に基づいて、前記循環プロペラのピッチサイクルを調節するステップとを含み、
ピッチサイクルを調節する前記ステップは、
前記羽根の両端部における前記第1及び第2の回転装置を作動させて、各前記羽根の両端の羽根角が異なるように各前記羽根を個別にねじるステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項11に記載の方法であって、
前記羽根を設置するステップは、
前記羽根が前記液体中で垂直方向に延びるように該羽根を設置することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項11に記載の方法であって、
前記羽根を設置するステップは、
前記羽根が前記液体の水面と平行に延びるように該羽根を設置することを特徴とする方法。
