Claims (10)
- コアガスタービンエンジン(20)と、前記コアガスタービンエンジンに外接するコアカウル(22)と、前記コアカウルから半径方向外方に配置されるナセル(24)と、前記コアカウルと前記ナセルとの間に形成されるファンノズルダクト(26)とを含むターボファンエンジン組立体(10)用内側コアカウルバッフル組立体(100)において:
前記ファンノズルダクト内に配置されて前記コアカウルの一部分(21)に結合される第1のコアカウルバッフル(101)と;
前記コアカウルの一部分(21)に結合されるとともに、前記第1のコアカウルバッフルから半径方向内方にある距離をおいて配置される第2のコアカウルバッフル(102)と;
前記第2のコアカウルバッフルを前記第1のコアカウルバッフルに対して選択的に再配置することにより前記ファンノズルダクトのスロート部を変化させるように構成される作動装置組立体(110)とからなる内側コアカウルバッフル組立体(100)。 - 前記第1および第2のコアカウルバッフル(101、102)は、前記ファンノズルダクト(26)内に配置される請求項1に記載の内側コアカウルバッフル組立体(100)。
- 前記作動装置組立体(110)は、前記コアカウル(22)の一部分内に配置されるとともに、前記第2のコアカウルバッフルを前記コアカウルに結合させるように構成される請求項1に記載の内側コアカウルバッフル組立体(100)。
- 前記作動装置組立体(110)は、周方向に離間する複数個のモータ(112)と、複数本の延長ロッド(114)とからなり、前記複数本のロッドの各々は、それぞれのモータに結合されて、少なくとも1個の前記モータを作動させることによって前記第2のコアカウルバッフル(102)の一部分(106)が並進せしめられるようになっている請求項2に記載の内側コアカウルバッフル組立体(100)。
- 前記作動装置組立体(110)は、電気、空気または油圧の少なくとも1つの動力の供給を受ける請求項2に記載の内側コアカウルバッフル組立体(100)。
- 前記作動装置組立体(110)は、前記第2のコアカウルバッフル(102)の一部分(106)を第1の動作位置(130)と第2の動作位置(132)と、前記第1および第2の動作位置間の複数個の動作位置との間において再配置する請求項1に記載の内側コアカウルバッフル組立体(100)。
- 前記第2のコアカウルバッフル(102)は、前記第1の動作位置(130)において前記コアカウル(22)と実質的に面一に配置され、前記第1の動作位置は、前記エンジン組立体(10)により生じせしめられるエンジンスラストを高めやすくする請求項6に記載の内側コアカウルバッフル組立体(100)。
- 前記第2のコアカウルバッフル(102)は、前記第2の動作位置(132)において前記コアカウル(22)からある距離だけ離れて配置されて、前記第2の動作位置が、前記エンジン組立体(10)が最大スラスト未満のスラストレベルで動作せしめられるときにエンジン効率を最大限に高めやすくするようになっている請求項6に記載の内側コアカウルバッフル組立体(100)。
- 前記第1のコアカウルバッフル(101)は、少なくとも1本の支柱(99)を用いて前記コアカウル(22)に結合される請求項1に記載の内側コアカウルバッフル組立体(100)。
- 前記第1のコアカウルバッフル(101)と前記第2のコアカウルバッフル(102)との少なくとも一方は、少なくとも1個の固定消音板を含む請求項1に記載の内側コアカウルバッフル組立体(100)。
