Description
Claims (20)
- 受取り室を画定するホルダハウジングであって、前記室の中に試料採集管を受け取るように適合された後端と、受取り口を含む前端とを含むホルダハウジングと、

前記ハブは、前記ホルダハウジングの前記受取り口の中に、前記ハブ外面の少なくとも一部分が前記受取り口の対応する内面と係合するように受け取られ、前記ハブは、前記ハブを前記ホルダハウジングに対して軸方向に固定するためのスナップばめ係合を提供すべき、実質的に周囲に沿って延びる、前記ハブ外面と前記受取り口の前記内面との間の締まりばめ構造によって、前記受取り口の中に保持され、前記ハブの前記穿刺要素は、前記受取り口を通って前記ホルダハウジングの前記室の中へ延び、
ハブ外面は、ハブ外面から延びる回転防止要素を含み、前記受取り口の中への前記回転防止要素の受取りが、前記ハブを前記ホルダハウジングと整列させ、前記受取り口内における前記ハブの回転運動を防止する
ことを特徴とする血液採集アセンブリ。 - 前記ハブの前記内部開口を貫いて取り付けられた、内部ルーメンを含む針カニューレをさらに含み、前記針カニューレは、前記ハブの前記遠位端から延びる穿刺先端を有する静脈側前端と、前記ハブの前記近位端から延びる非患者側後端とを有し、前記非患者側端は前記穿刺要素を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記ハブの前記遠位端は、相補的な対合面を有する医療装置と係合するように適合された対合面を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記ハブ外面と前記対応する受取り口内面との間の係合は、前記ハブの前記遠位端に加えられたトルクに対抗する支持を提供し、それによって、実質的に周囲に沿って延びる、前記ハブ外面と前記受取り口内面との間の前記締まりばめ構造によって確立された前記スナップばめ係合の解除を防ぐことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記ハブは、前記ハブの前記遠位端と前記近位端の間の1つの位置で、前記ハブ外面を取り巻いて、実質的に周囲に沿って延びる環状突起を含み、前記受取り口は、前記ハブの前記環状突起と対合する、前記受取り口の前記内面で周囲に沿って延びる対応する環状溝を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記環状突起は環状リブを含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記受取り口の中での前記ハブの回転運動を防ぐための構造をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記回転防止要素は、前記ハブの前記近位端の前記ハブ外面から延びるこぶを含み、前記受取り口は、前記こぶの外面を受け取り、実質的にこれと接するように形成された切欠き部分を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記こぶの前記外面は丸みを帯びており、前記受取り口の前記切欠き部分の丸みを帯びた相補的な内面に挿入され、それと接するように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記ハブの前記内部開口を貫いて取り付けられた、内部ルーメンを含む針カニューレをさらに含み、前記針カニューレは、前記ハブの前記遠位端から延びる穿刺先端を有する静脈側前端と、前記ハブの前記近位端から延びる非患者側後端とを有し、前記非患者側端は前記穿刺要素を含み、前記受取り口への前記回転防止要素の挿入は、前記ハブ、したがって前記針カニューレの前記静脈側端の前記穿刺先端を、所定の位置に整列させることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記ホルダハウジングの前記後端は、その対向する側から延びる一対のフランジを含み、前記ホルダハウジングの底面は、患者の皮膚に載るように形成されており、前記針カニューレの前記静脈側端の前記穿刺先端はベベルを含み、前記受取り口への前記回転防止要素の挿入は、前記ベベルを、前記一対のフランジおよび前記ホルダハウジングの前記底面に対して、所定の位置に整列させることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記受取り口への前記回転防止要素の挿入は、前記ベベルを、前記一対のフランジの少なくとも一方のフランジから約60度から約120度の間の角度に整列させることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記ハブと前記ホルダハウジングのうちの少なくとも一方とピボット可能に係合したシールドであって、ピボット運動して、前記針カニューレの前記穿刺先端を包み込むように適合されたシールドをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載のアセンブリ。
- ベベルの付いた穿刺先端を有する静脈側端と、ハブに取り付けられた非患者側端とを有する針カニューレを含む針アセンブリであって、前記ハブは、遠位端と近位端の間に延び、前記ハブは、その外面から延びる回転防止要素を含む針アセンブリと、

- ホルダハウジングに針アセンブリを取り付ける方法であって、
a)ベベルの付いた穿刺先端を有する静脈側端と、ハブに取り付けられた非患者側端とを有する針カニューレを含む針アセンブリであって、前記ハブは、遠位端と近位端の間に延び、前記ハブは、前記近位端の外面を取り巻いて実質的に周囲に沿って延びる突起と、前記近位端の前記外面から延びる回転防止要素とを有する針アセンブリを用意するステップと、
b)受取り室を画定するホルダハウジングであって、前記室の中に試料採集管を受け取るように適合された後端と、前記ハブの前記近位端の少なくとも一部分を受け取るように形成された、それを貫いて延びる受取り口を含む前端とを含み、前記受取り口は、前記ハブの前記突起と対合する内面と、前記ハブの前記回転防止要素と係合する切欠き部分とを含むホルダハウジングを用意するステップと、
c)前記ハブの前記近位端を前記ホルダハウジングの前記受取り口に挿入するステップであって、それによって、前記ハブの前記突起が、前記受取り口の前記対応する対合内面と、実質的にそれらの間の接触面全体に沿って係合して、前記ハブを前記ホルダハウジングに軸方向に固定し、前記受取り口への前記回転防止要素の前記挿入が、前記ハブを前記ホルダハウジングと整列させ、且つしたがって前記針カニューレを所定の位置に整列させ、前記受取り口内における前記ハブの回転運動を防止するステップと
