60%≦ZrO2+HfO2≦75%、
27%≦SiO2≦34%、
0.2%≦TiO2≦1.5%、
0.3%≦Y2O3≦3.5%、
その他の酸化物≦1%。
(1)前記出発混合物中のジルコンの量は、酸化物ベースの重量%で80%以上である。
(2)前記ジルコニウム含有量は、酸化物ベースの重量%において5%超であり、好ましくは10%超であり、及び/又は、15%未満である。
(3)前記ジルコニアは、酸化イットリウムによって少なくとも部分的に安定化され、前記安定化されたジルコニアの重量%による割合は、前記ジルコニアの10%を超え、好ましくは前記ジルコニアの20%を超える。
(4)前記酸化イットリウム(Y2O3)の総量は、酸化物ベースの重量%で、1.7%以下、及び/又は、0.7%以上である。1.7%を超えると、主要の結晶相が大幅に変化され、材料の剛性の増加を引き起こし、または、実現可能性の問題さえも引き起こす。
(a)出発材料を混合して出発混合物を形成する段階と、
(b)前記出発混合物を成形体に成形する段階と、
(c)前記成形体を焼結して焼結生成物を得る段階と、を含む、焼結生成物の製造方法を提供し、
前記方法は、前記出発混合物が、前記生成物が本発明によるものであるように決定されることは注目すべきである。
(1)66.8%のZrO2+HfO2、32.7%のSiO2、0.2%のAl2O3、及び、0.1のTiO2を含むジルコン、
(2)Saint−Gobain ZirProによって販売されるCS10またはCC10などのジルコニア(これらの生成物は、少なくとも98.8%のZrO2+HfO2、及び、0.1%から0.5%のSiO2を含み、約3.5μm(マイクロメートル)の平均粒径(D50)を有する)、
(3)92%のZrO2+HfO2、7%のY2O3、0.3%のAl2O3、及び、0.2%のTiO2を含むイットリア化されたジルコニア(この平均粒径(D50)は、約11μmである)、
(4)96.6%のTiO2、1.7%のFe2O3、0.8%のSiO2、及び、0.6%のAl2O3を有する酸化チタン、
(5)3μmから4μmの平均粒径を有する99.9%超の純粋な酸化イットリウム、
(6)リン酸(85%のH3PO4水溶液)、
(7)98%超のSiO2を含み、約10μmの平均直径を有する結晶シリカ。
(a)ジルコン源を任意に粉砕し、
(b)出発材料を混合し、出発混合物を形成し、
(c)前記出発混合物を成形体に成形し、
(d)前記成形体を焼結する。
Claims (12)
- 75%から99%のジルコンを含有する出発混合物から製造され、酸化物ベースの重量%で合計が100%になるように以下の質量平均化学組成を有する、ガラス炉に使用される焼結生成物。
60%≦ZrO2+HfO2≦75%、
27%≦SiO2≦34%、
0.2%≦TiO2≦1.5%、
0.3%≦Y2O3≦3.5%、
その他の酸化物≦1%。 - 前記出発混合物中のジルコンの量は、酸化物ベースの重量%で80%以上である、請求項1に記載の焼結生成物。
- 酸化物ベースの重量%で、5%を超える、及び/又は、15%未満のジルコニア含有量を有し、ジルコニアは、ジルコンを形成するためのSiO 2 の分子と関連しないZrO 2 の分子を指す、請求項1または2に記載の焼結生成物。
- 前記ジルコニアは、Y 2 O 3 によって少なくとも部分的に安定化され、前記安定化されたジルコニアの重量%による割合は、前記ジルコニアの10%を超え、ジルコニアは、ジルコンを形成するためのSiO 2 の分子と関連しないZrO 2 の分子を指す、請求項1に記載の焼結生成物。
- 前記Y 2 O 3 の総量は、酸化物ベースの重量%で、1.7%以下、及び/又は、0.7%以上である、請求項1から4の何れか一項に記載の焼結生成物。
- ガラスシートを成形するために使用される、請求項1から5の何れか一項に記載の焼結生成物。
- 溶融ガラスと接触して使用される、請求項1から6の何れか一項に記載の焼結生成物。
- (a)出発材料を混合して出発混合物を形成する段階と、
(b)前記出発混合物を成形体に成形する段階と、
(c)前記成形体を焼結して焼結生成物を得る段階と、を含み、
前記出発混合物は、前記生成物が請求項1から5の何れか一項に記載のものであるように決定されることを特徴とする、ガラス炉に使用される焼結生成物の製造方法。 - 前記段階(a)において単斜晶系のジルコニアを加え、ジルコニアは、ジルコンを形成するためのSiO 2 の分子と関連しないZrO 2 の分子を指す、請求項8に記載の製造方法。
- 前記段階(a)において、ジルコニアに関連しない少なくとも1%のY 2 O 3 を加え、ジルコニアは、ジルコンを形成するためのSiO 2 の分子と関連しないZrO 2 の分子を指す、請求項8または9に記載の製造方法。
- 前記段階(a)において、ジルコン及び任意のジルコニアを、前記ジルコン及びジルコニアの総量が酸化物ベースの重量%で前記出発混合物の少なくとも95%に相当するように加え、ジルコニアは、ジルコンを形成するためのSiO 2 の分子と関連しないZrO 2 の分子を指す、請求項8から10の何れか一項に記載の製造方法。
- 前記段階(a)において、酸化物ベースの重量%で少なくとも1%のシリカを前記出発混合物に加える、請求項8から11の何れか一項に記載の製造方法。
