Description
SPS GPS信号を受信し、該信号を事前処理しても良い。該事前処理は一般に、帯域外のRF干渉を最小化するためのパッシブバンドパスフィルタリング、前置増幅、中間周波数(IF)への逓減、及びアナログ−ディジタル変換によって為される。結果のディジタル化されたIF信号は変調された状態のままであり、利用可能な衛星からの全ての情報を依然として含んでおり、GPSマイクロプロセッサ25のメモリに送られる。次いで、疑似距離情報を導出する目的のため、GPS信号が取得され追跡される。該疑似距離情報から、従来のナビゲーションアルゴリズムを利用して、前記モバイル型電話機の位置が決定される。GPS信号の取得及び追跡のためのかような方法は良く知られている。例えば、「GPS Principles and Applications」(Kaplan編、ISBN 0-89006-793-7、Artech House)のChapter 4(GPS satellite signal characteristics)及びChapter 5(GPS satellite signal acquisition and tracking)を参照されたい。GPSマイクロプロセッサ25は、任意に通信マイクロプロセッサ22に一般的なものであるような汎用マイクロプロセッサの形で実装されても良く、又はGPS用途向けの集積回路(ASIC)に埋め込まれたマイクロプロセッサであっても良い。

ここで、tは年の開始からの時間であり、fsun=1/182.5日、fmoon=1/13.7日である。C1、C2、Csun、Cmoon、φsun及びφmoonは、それぞれのエフェメリスパラメータについて少量の過去データのみを利用して容易に決定され得る定数である。図4は、2002年の間、衛星2について2時間の間隔(T)で測定された軌道傾斜角をラジアン(RAD)で示す。オフセット及びずれ(上述の式においてC1+C2tによってモデル化されている)並びに太陽及び月の影響による2つの周期的変化(cos(2πfsunt+φsun)及びcos(2πfmoont+φmoon)によってモデル化されている)が明らかである。
Claims (4)
- GPS位置決定のための方法であって、
(i)GPS衛星によって送信されるGPSエフェメリスに対応する標準的なGPSエフェメリスを提供するステップと、
(ii)補足GPSエフェメリスを提供するステップと、
(iii)GPS衛星への疑似距離を測定するステップと、
(iv)それぞれステップ(i)及び (ii)において提供された前記標準的なGPSエフェメリス及び前記補足GPSエフェメリスの両方、並びにステップ(iii)において測定された前記疑似距離から、GPS位置決定を行うステップと、
を有し、
前記補足GPSエフェメリスは、標準的なGPSエフェメリスの少なくとも1つの衛星軌道パラメータの時間による変動の周波数成分を記述する少なくとも1つのパラメータを含み、
前記周波数成分は、太陰周期及び太陽周期に対応する、
方法。 - GPS受信器であって、
(i)GPS衛星によって送信されるGPSエフェメリスに対応する標準的なGPSエフェメリスと、
(ii)補足GPSエフェメリスと、
(iii)前記GPS受信器からGPS衛星までの測定された疑似距離とから、GPS位置決定を行うように構成され、
前記補足GPSエフェメリスは、標準的なGPSエフェメリスの少なくとも1つの衛星軌道パラメータの時間による変動の周波数成分を記述する少なくとも1つのパラメータを含み、
前記周波数成分は、太陰周期及び太陽周期に対応する、
GPS受信器。 - 前記GPS受信器によって前記GPS衛星から直接受信された標準的なGPSエフェメリスの履歴から、少なくとも1つの前記補足GPSエフェメリスを決定するように更に構成された、請求項2に記載のGPS受信器。
- システムであって、
サーバと、請求項2又は3に記載のGPS受信器と、を備え、
前記サーバは、
GPS衛星によって送信されるGPSエフェメリスに対応する標準的なGPSエフェメリスの少なくとも1つの衛星軌道パラメータの時間による変動の周波数成分を記述する少なくとも1つのパラメータを含む補足GPSエフェメリスを、リモートのGPS受信器に送信するように構成され、前記周波数成分は太陰周期及び太陽周期に対応する、ように構成されている
ことを特徴とするシステム。
