絶縁操作棒と該絶縁操作棒の先端部に取り付けられる先端工具との接続を補助する絶縁操作棒用接続補助具であって、
第1の棒状部材の一端部に、前記絶縁操作棒又は該絶縁操作棒に取り付けられた器具と連結する第1の連結構造部が設けられてなる操作棒側連結部と、
第2の棒状部材の一端部に、前記先端工具又は該先端工具に取り付けられた器具と連結する第2の連結構造部が設けられてなる先端工具側連結部と、
前記第1の棒状部材と前記第2の棒状部材とを、該第1の棒状部材と該第2の棒状部材とのなす角度を変化可能に連結させる連結手段と、
を具備し、
前記連結手段は、
凸部又は凹部が複数形成された球状体と、
前記球状体に形成された前記凸部又は前記凹部と嵌合可能な凹部又は凸部が複数形成された受け皿部材と、
前記球状体又は前記受け皿部材の少なくとも一方を、使用者の操作により変位可能にする変位手段と、
