Description
The present invention is arranged on a display screen such as a liquid crystal display, for example, and a touch panel on which a user can input information by pressing with a finger or the like according to an instruction on the display screen, and a touch panel configured by stacking the touch panels The present invention relates to a type display device.
An example of a touch panel is one that employs a capacitance method, and is disclosed in, for example, Patent Document 1.
However, in the touch panel input device disclosed in Patent Document 1, for example, when the separation distance between adjacent electrode leads is reduced in order to reduce the size (such as narrowing the frame), the capacitance generated in the area facing the adjacent electrode leads increases. Therefore, by reducing the area of each electrode to increase the resolution, it becomes difficult to obtain sufficient detection accuracy when the change in capacitance output when touched with a finger is reduced.
The present invention has been conceived under such circumstances, and reduces the capacitance generated between the wiring conductors that electrically connect the position detection electrode and the external circuit while reducing the size. An object of the present invention is to provide a touch panel and a touch panel type display device that can be used.
A touch panel according to the present invention includes a first substrate, a plurality of first electrodes provided on the first substrate and detecting a position in the first direction, a second substrate, and the second substrate. to a plurality of second electrodes for detecting a second direction intersecting relation to provided in which and the first direction, the voltage more for applying to the first electrode and the second electrode A wiring conductor; and a conductive adhesive member for bonding the first base and the second base , wherein the plurality of wiring conductors are electrically connected to one of the plurality of first electrodes. A first wiring conductor connected to the first electrode, and a second wiring conductor electrically connected to the electrode adjacent to the one electrode, the first wiring conductor being connected to the first wiring conductor. Arranged so as not to face the second wiring conductor in the direction perpendicular to the thickness direction And have a first non-facing portion, the first non-facing portion is located on said second substrate, said second wiring conductor is located on the first substrate, the conductive adhesive member Electrically connects a portion of the first wiring conductor located on the first base side to the first non-facing portion .
A touch panel type display device according to the present invention includes a display panel and the touch panel according to the present invention disposed to face the display panel.
In the touch panel according to the present invention, the first wiring conductor has a first non-facing portion that is disposed so as not to face the second wiring conductor in a direction orthogonal to the thickness direction of the first wiring conductor. Yes. Therefore, in this touch panel, even if the separation distance between the wiring conductors in the plurality of wiring conductors is reduced, the separation distance can be sufficiently ensured in the first non-opposing portion. Therefore, in this touch panel, the capacity | capacitance generate | occur | produced between each wiring conductor can be reduced, aiming at size reduction.
Since the touch panel type display device according to the present invention includes the touch panel according to the present invention, it can enjoy the same effects as those of the touch panel according to the present invention described above. That is, this touch panel display device is suitable for reducing the capacity generated between the wiring conductors while reducing the size.
