この発明は上記の問題を解決すべくなされたもので、No detect応答をNACK応答と誤検出することを抑制し、エラーの発生確率を低減することが可能な無線装置を提供することを目的とする。
まず、この発明の一実施形態に係わる移動通信システムで用いられる移動局の構成について説明する。図1は、上記移動局の構成を示すものである。
パイロット信号生成部101は、当該移動通信システムの基地局との間で既知のビット列を生成し、これにスクランブリングコードをかけることでパイロット信号を生成する。このパイロット信号は、変調部104に出力される。
パイロット信号生成部201aは、移動局において既知のビット列を生成し、これにスクランブリングコードをかけ、これにより得られるビット列をコーディングして、パイロット信号を生成し、これを変調部203に出力する。
はじめに、基地局が移動局にInitialパケットを送信し、この送信に対して移動局から送信された応答信号を正しく判定した場合や、移動局が応答信号を送信しなかったことを正しく判定した場合の動作について説明する。
まず、本発明を適用せず、移動局が基地局から送信されたInitialパケットの受信を失敗してNo detectと判定したにもかかわらず、基地局がNackを示す応答信号を誤って検出した場合の動作について説明する。
このため、移動局は、当該移動局宛ての信号を受信していないものとみなして、送信系に対して応答信号を生成する指示を与えず、これにより応答信号は送信されない(シーケンスS82)。

したがって、上記構成の移動通信システムによれば、No detect応答をNack応答と誤検出することを抑制し、エラーの発生確率を低減することができる。
その他、この発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々の変形を施しても同様に実施可能であることはいうまでもない。
Claims (5)
- データ送信を行った後、通信相手から受信失敗を示す応答信号を受信した場合に、前記データを再送信する無線装置において、
データと、このデータを復号するための制御情報とを含むパケットを送信する第1送信手段と、
この第1送信手段による送信に対する応答信号を受信する応答受信手段と、
判定条件にしたがって、前記応答受信手段が受信した信号が前記データの受信失敗を示す応答信号であるか否かを判定する判定手段と、
この判定手段が受信失敗を示す応答信号であると判定した場合に、前記データを再送信する第2送信手段と、
前記第1送信手段が送信を行った場合には、前記第2送信手段が再送信を行った場合よりも、前記判定手段による判定が受信失敗と判定しにくくなるように前記判定条件を設定する条件設定手段とを具備することを特徴とする無線装置。 - データ送信を行った後、通信相手から受信失敗を示す応答信号を受信した場合に、前記データを再送信する無線装置において、
データと、このデータを復号するための制御情報とを含むパケットを送信する第1送信手段と、
この第1送信手段による送信に対する応答信号を受信する応答受信手段と、
判定条件にしたがって、前記応答受信手段が受信した信号が前記データの受信失敗を示す応答信号であるか、あるいは応答信号を受信していないかを判定する判定手段と、
この判定手段が受信失敗を示す応答信号であると判定した場合に、前記データを再送信する第2送信手段と、
前記第1送信手段が送信を行った場合には、前記第2送信手段が再送信を行った場合よりも、前記判定手段による判定が受信失敗と判定しにくくなるように前記判定条件を設定する条件設定手段とを具備することを特徴とする無線装置。 - さらに、前記判定手段が通信相手から応答信号を受信していないと判断した場合に、前記パケットを再送信する第3送信手段を備え、
前記条件設定手段は、前記第3送信手段が送信を行った場合には、前記第2送信手段が再送信を行った場合よりも、前記判定手段による判定が受信失敗と判定しにくくなるように前記判定条件を設定することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の無線装置。 - 前記判定手段は、前記判定条件で設定される閾値と、前記応答信号のレベルとを比較することで、前記応答受信手段が受信した応答信号が前記データの受信失敗を示すものか否かを判定し、
前記条件設定手段は、前記第1送信手段が送信を行った場合には、前記第2送信手段が再送信を行った場合よりも、前記判定手段による判定が受信失敗と判定しにくくなるように前記閾値を設定することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の無線装置。 - 前記第2送信手段は、前記データを含みかつ前記制御情報を含まないパケットを再送信することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の無線装置。
