Description
医療用の二次元超音波プローブとして使用する際は、圧電振動子の個々の振動子サイズとしては、通常、各電極面積が0.01m2〜0.2m2、厚さ0.2mm〜0.6mm程度のサイズの圧電振動子1を用い、このような圧電振動子10個×10個〜100個×100個程度を二次元アレイとする。電極面積が0.2m2よりも大きい場合や、二次元アレイに用いる圧電振動子数が100個×100個よりも多い場合、二次元アレイの超音波放出面が大きくなりすぎ、人体内、特に肋骨の間から診察を行う循環器用プローブの測定に適さなくなる。個々の振動子の電極面積が0.01m2よりも小さくすることは加工精度的に困難である。圧電振動子の厚さは、使用する圧電振動子の種類と発信させる超音波の波長とを考えて決定する。圧電振動子数が10個×10個よりも少ないと、精度の高い診断ができなくなる恐れがある。
液状ポリブタジエン(出光石油化学社製、Poly bd R-45HT、1,4-結合80%及び1,2-結合20%、分子量2800)と、グリセリンと、硬化剤としてのジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート(MDI)を準備し、表1に示す重量比で混合した。なお、表1に示される各比率は以下の通りである。ポリブタジエンの100重量部に対してのグリセリンの添加重量部及び硬化剤であるMDIの添加重量部及びその他の添加物の添加重量部である。
表面保護層用素材を、それぞれ30mm×30mm×1mmに加工した。得られたサンプルの25℃における空気中での重量と、水中における重量とを測定し、アルキメデス法により算出した。
表面保護層用素材を、それぞれ30mm×30mm×1mmに加工した。
ここで、C0は水の音速、dは試料の厚み、Δtは水と試料の透過波形の最初のピークを越した後のゼロクロス点の時間差を示す。
AIは、37℃にて測定した密度と音速の積として求めた。
表面保護層用素材を、それぞれ50mm径×10mmに加工した。得られたサンプルをジェロメータを用いてショアA硬度を37℃にて測定した。
表面保護層用素材を、JIS6252に従い、110mm×25mm×2mmの形状のクレセント形状試験片に加工し、インストロン試験機を用いてn=5で測定を行い、所定の方法で引き裂き強度を求めた。
細胞毒性試験は次の方法で行った。
これらの測定値を表1に示す。
表面保護層用素材としてシリコーンゴムを準備し、上記実施例1−8、比較例1−5と同様にして特性評価をした。これらの測定値を表1に併記する。

Claims (5)
- 複数の圧電振動子を二次元的に配列した二次元超音波アレイと、
前記二次元アレイの超音波放出面側に形成された表面保護層とを有し、
前記表面保護層はポリブタジエン100重量部とグリセリン1−5重量部とを合成したポリブタジエン系ゴムを含有することを特徴とする二次元アレイ超音波プローブ。 - 前記表面保護層は、さらに、5重量部以下の無機微粒子を含有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次元アレイ超音波プローブ。
- 前記表面保護層は、37℃におけるショアA硬度が50度以上、引き裂き強度が10N/mm以上で密度が0.96−1.04g/cm3であり、音速が1450−1600m/sの範囲内にあることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の超音波プローブ。
- 前記ポリブタジエン系ゴムは、イソシアネート化合物を含有する硬化剤で硬化させたものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次元アレイ超音波プローブ。
- 人体用であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次元アレイ超音波プローブ。
