Description
Claims (14)
- 水体の潮汐エネルギーを利用するためのエネルギー変換システムであって、
当該システムは、バリアを有し、該バリアは、水体の少なくとも一部分の下に、かつ、水体の少なくとも一部分を渡って配備可能であり、かつ、
当該システムは、前記バリアに連結されたトランスデューサを有し、該トランスデューサは、使用時に、バリアにかかる潮汐の圧力を電気エネルギーへ変換するのを助長するものであり、
該バリアは少なくとも1つのセールアレイを有し、該セールアレイは複数のセールを有し、これら複数のセールは、お互いに、対応して、概して平行に間隔をおいた関係にて、固定されており、該セールアレイは支持体にヒンジ式に取り付けられており、
前記セールアレイは、潮汐流の方向に対する望ましいセールの位置合わせをもたらすように適合化されたトリム手段を有し、該トリム手段は、使用時に前記セールアレイの下流側に位置する翼板を有するものである、
前記エネルギー変換システム。 - 上記の少なくとも一つのセールアレイが、水体中で潮汐が流れている方向に対して、実質的にそれを横断する方向に移動するように適合している、請求項1記載のエネルギー変換システム。
- 上記の少なくとも一つのセールアレイが取り付けられた上記の少なくとも一つの支持体が、トランスデューサに連結されている、請求項2記載のエネルギー変換システム。
- 各セールが、実質的に剛性を持ったフレームを有する、請求項3記載のエネルギー変換システム。
- 各セールの配置構成が、潮汐の流れの方向に関係なく当該システムを機能させ得るように適合可能である、請求項3または4記載のエネルギー変換システム。
- 上記支持体が、上方ケーブルおよび下方ケーブルを有する、請求項4または5記載のエネルギー変換システム。
- 上記セールアレイが、上記支持体に、ある軸の周りでヒンジ式に取り付けられており、該軸は、使用時に、該セールアレイの圧力の中心と実質的に一致する、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のエネルギー変換システム。
- 上記セールアレイが、上記支持体に、ある軸の周りでヒンジ式に取り付けられており、該セールアレイは、該軸の周りで質量バランスがとれている、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のエネルギー変換システム。
- 上方および下方ケーブルが、それぞれ、閉じたループを有する、請求項6記載のエネルギー変換システム。
- 上記バリアの両側にガイド手段を有し、それらガイド手段は、それぞれ、反転する経路を規定し、上方および下方ケーブルが、該経路に沿って動くように制限される、請求項9記載のエネルギー変換システム。
- ガイド手段が、トランスデューサに連結されている、請求項10記載のエネルギー変換システム。
- ガイド手段が、ガイドホイールのアレイを有し、該ガイドホイールの少なくとも一つは、個々の上方または下方ケーブルによって駆動され、前記少なくとも一つのガイドホイールが、トランスデューサに連結されている、請求項10または11に記載のエネルギー変換システム。
- ガイドホイールが、各シャフト上に、間隔をおいた関係にて取り付けられた一対で構成されている、請求項12記載のエネルギー変換システム。
- 上記セールアレイが、個々のトリム手段の方向付けを、第1ポジションと第2ポジションとの間で切り替えるための手段を有する、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載のエネルギー変換システム。
