Abstract
【解決手段】蒸気で発色又は変色する模様を片面に形成した滅菌確認インジケータシート22を挟むように配設した蒸気透過調節層20、20を、その両層の合計厚さが5〜25mmとなるように複数枚の蒸気透過調節用紙18を積層して形成した滅菌確認インジケータ部24を、蒸気透過調節層20よりも蒸気を透過する紙箱12内に収容しているパックであって、前記パックを載置したオートクレーブ内に蒸気を導入して134℃で3.5分間保持した際に、前記オートクレーブ内に残留空気が存在していたとき、滅菌確認インジケータシート22の模様の変色が完了した部分と変色しない部分とのが肉眼で判別できるように、最低でも密度0.75g/cm3の蒸気透過調節用紙18を用いることを特徴とする。

Description
滅菌確認インジケータシート22を、下記の方法で作製した。
C.Iディスパースレッド137 50重量部
フタロシアニンブルー 5重量部
フタル酸 800重量部
20%エチルセルロースのブチルセロソルブ溶液 1600重量部
ブチルセロソルブ 800重量部
これらの化合物をボールミルで3日間混練してスクリーン印刷用インキを得た。このインキを上質紙に印刷した後、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)フィルムにてラミネートを行い滅菌確認インジケータシート22とした。
比較のため、残留空気の無い状況と、故意に空気が残留した状況とで実施した。実施例1において、残留空気を充分に排出したオートクレーブ内に温度134℃の蒸気を導入すると共に、空気をオートクレーブのチャンバー容量(0.196m3)に対して大気圧換算で380ml(チャンバー容量に対して0.2vol%)の空気を故意に導入した。オートクレーブ内を所定圧力(0.3MPa)で3.5分間保持した。その後、更に、蒸気滅菌用インジケータパック10の蓋部12aの切裂部16を切り裂いて、模様が部分的に変色している滅菌確認インジケータシート22を紙箱12から取り出した。取り出した滅菌確認インジケータシート22の模様の変色が完了している周辺部と変色していない中央部との色差(ΔE * ab)を色彩色差計(コニカミノルタ株式会社製 色彩色差計 CR−321:JIS Z 8722に準拠して設計)で測定し、その結果を図7に示す。図7に示すように、蒸気透過調節用紙18の密度と色差(ΔE * ab)とは、相関係数R2を0.9622とする強い正の相関を示している。滅菌確認インジケータシート22の模様の変色が完了している部分と模様が変色していない部分とを肉眼で明確に認識できるのは、両者の色差(ΔE * ab)が10以上のものであり、密度が0.75g/cm3以上の蒸気透過調節用紙18を用いた水準のものであった。他方、密度が0.75g/cm3未満の蒸気透過調節用紙18を用いた水準のものは、滅菌確認インジケータシート22の模様の変色が完了している部分と模様が変色していない部分とを肉眼で認識することは困難であった。一方、空気を故意に導入しないと、滅菌確認インジケータシート22の模様は、全体として変色していた。
比較のため、残留空気の無い状況と、故意に空気が残留した状況とで実施した。実施例1において、滅菌確認インジケータシート22の両面に、密度0.5g/cm3で厚さ1mmの低高密度蒸気透過調節用紙を1枚配し、その上に密度0.92g/cm3で厚さ0.49mmの高密度蒸気透過調節用紙を11枚積層して蒸気透過調節層20を形成した。蒸気透過調節層20,20の合計厚さは約13mmであった。次いで、実施例1と同様にして蒸気滅菌用インジケータパック10を形成した。
Claims (3)
- 蒸気と接触して発色又は変色する模様が印刷された滅菌確認インジケータシートを両面から挟むように二層の蒸気透過調節層が配設された滅菌確認インジケータ部が、前記蒸気透過調節層よりも前記蒸気を透過する紙製の包装体内に収容されているパックであって、
前記パックを載置して減圧したオートクレーブ内に加圧蒸気を導入した際に、前記オートクレーブ内に0.2vol%の残留空気が存在していたとき、前記滅菌確認インジケータシートの模様のうち、前記蒸気透過調節層の各々を通過した前記加圧蒸気と接触して発色又は変色が完了して最も発色又は変色した周辺部の部分と、前記加圧蒸気と接触せずに発色又は変色しない中央部の部分との色差(ΔE * ab)がJIS Z 8722準拠の測定で少なくとも10となるように、複数枚の蒸気透過調節用紙が積層された前記蒸気透過調節層の各々は、その両層の合計厚さが5〜25mmであり、且つ前記蒸気透過調節層の両層で密度が0.75〜0.85g/cm 3 に形成され、
前記蒸気透過調節用紙に同一密度で且つ同一厚さのものが使用されていること、或いは前記蒸気透過調節用紙に異なる密度及び厚さのものが含まれ、前記滅菌確認インジケータシートと接触する前記蒸気透過調節用紙に使用された最高でも密度0.6g/cm 3 の低密度蒸気透過調節用紙に、前記低密度蒸気透過調節用紙よりも薄く且つ最低でも密度が0.85g/cm 3 の高密度蒸気透過調節用紙が積層されていることを特徴とする蒸気滅菌用インジケータパック。 - 前記蒸気透過調節層の各々を形成する蒸気透過調節用紙の枚数が同数又は5〜10枚の差であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の蒸気滅菌用インジケータパック。
- 前記蒸気透過調節用紙の厚さが同一厚さであるとき、前記厚さが0.05〜0.6mmであることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の蒸気滅菌用インジケータパック。
