Description

The present invention relates to a lamp structure of a saddle-ride type vehicle such as a motorcycle.

Conventionally, in the above lighting device structure, a headlamp located on the left and right inside of the vehicle body and a front turn signal located on the left and right outside of the vehicle body are provided separately from each other, and the left and right outer ends of the headlamp and the left and right inside of the front blinker are provided. There is one that forms an integrated external appearance by bringing the end portions close to each other so as to be continuous (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
The outer surface of the vehicle body front cover on which the headlamp and the left and right front blinkers are arranged has a streamline shape that curves so as to be located rearward on the left and right outer sides. The turn signal is also arranged in a curved shape.
Japanese Patent No. 3584720

By the way, each lamp body of the headlamp and the front blinker is formed by integrally joining a housing that opens outward of the vehicle and a lens that closes the opening of the housing at the outer peripheral portion thereof. The housing and the lens are generally resin-molded products. However, when the headlamp and the front winker are curved as described above, the front winker lens and the housing with respect to the direction in which the headlamp lens and the housing are removed from the mold are used. It is preferable for molding to incline the die-cutting direction.

However, when the headlamps and the front winkers having different mold release directions are arranged close to each other, there is a problem that the joints between the lens and the housing of the headlamps and the front winker easily interfere with each other at the adjacent locations. In addition, if the headlamp and the front turn signal are simply separated to avoid the interference, there is a problem that a gap between them widens and affects the integrated appearance.
Further, at least one of the end portions, it is possible to displace the joint portion inside the lamp body and narrow the gap by forming a thick joint rib with the housing on the outer periphery of the lens. In this case, sink marks due to a temperature difference (density difference) inside and outside the thick portion at the time of molding the lens (such as dents and dents caused by molding shrinkage; the same applies hereinafter) are likely to occur on the outer surface of the lens and affect the lens appearance. There is a problem of giving.

Therefore, the present invention is a saddle-type vehicle lighting structure in which the first lighting device on the left and right inside of the vehicle body and the second lighting device on the left and right outside of the vehicle body are close to each other, and the spread of the gap between the lighting devices is suppressed. An object of the present invention is to prevent the joint between the lens and the housing in each lighting device from interfering with each other and to prevent the occurrence of sink marks on the outer surface of the lens when molding the lens.

As a means for solving the above problems, the invention described in claim 1 includes a first lighting device (for example, the headlamp 61 of the embodiment) located on the left and right inner sides of the vehicle body and a second lighting device (for example, the working device) located on the left and right outer sides of the vehicle body. The front blinker 71 of the example is provided separately from each other, and the left and right outer end portions (for example, the end portion 62 of the embodiment) of the first lighting device and the left and right inner end portions (for example, the end of the embodiment) of the second lighting device. In the lamp structure of the saddle-ride type vehicle in which the parts 72) are close to each other so as to be continuous with each other, the lamps of each lamp (for example, the lamps 67 and 77 of the embodiment) are respectively housings that open to the outside of the vehicle ( For example, the housings 65 and 75 of the embodiment and the lenses (for example, the lenses 66 and 76 of the embodiment) that close the opening of the housing are integrally joined at the outer peripheral portions thereof, At least one (eg real The headlamp 61 in the example has a shielding wall (for example, in the example) that extends from the lens outer surface (for example, the lens outer surface 61a in the example) side to enter a gap (for example, the gap s in the example) between the end portions. A shielding wall 81) is provided, and a joining rib (for example, the joining rib 68 in the embodiment) at the outer peripheral portion of the lens is provided inside the lamp body with respect to the shielding wall, and the shielding wall and the joining rib are provided. A cavity (for example, the cavity 82 in the embodiment) is provided between the two.
The saddle-ride type vehicle is a concept that includes all vehicles that ride on the vehicle body, and includes not only motorcycles (including motorbikes) but also three-wheel or four-wheel vehicles, and a low-floor footrest. It is a concept including a scooter type vehicle having a section.

In the invention described in claim 3, the hollow portion opens toward the housing side, and a closing member (for example, the sponge member 83 of the embodiment) is attached to the opening of the hollow portion (for example, the opening 82a of the embodiment). It is characterized by.

The invention described in claim 4 is characterized in that the closing member is a sponge member.

The invention described in claim 5 is characterized in that the blocking member is arranged on the inner side of the lamp body with respect to the outer side surface of the shielding wall (for example, the outer side surface 81c of the embodiment).

According to the first aspect of the present invention, at least one of the end portions adjacent to each other in each lighting device is provided with a shielding wall extending from the lens outer surface side so as to enter the gap between the end portions, thereby It becomes difficult to see the back of the gap from the outside, making the gap inconspicuous and providing a sense of unity between the lamps.
Further, by providing a bonding rib with the housing at the outer peripheral portion of the lens inside the lamp body from the shielding wall, the bonding portion between the lens and the housing at the end portion where the shielding wall is provided is displaced to the lamp body inner side. In addition, it is possible to prevent the joints in the lighting devices from interfering with each other, and to make the lighting devices close to each other to form an integrated and continuous appearance.
And, by providing a hollow portion between the shielding wall and the joining rib, compared with a case where these are simply formed into a single thick wall, sink marks at the time of molding the lens (such as dents and depressions caused by molding shrinkage) Can be prevented from occurring on the outer surface of the lens, and the lens appearance can be maintained well.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, the effect of improving the appearance can be enhanced by applying the lighting device structure in the vicinity of the headlamp and the front turn signal which are relatively conspicuous in the saddle riding type vehicle.

According to the third aspect of the present invention, the formation of the cavity can be facilitated, dust and the like can be prevented from entering the cavity, and the lens appearance can be maintained well.

According to the invention described in claim 4, the air permeability in the cavity can be ensured, and the occurrence of fogging inside the cavity can be prevented.

According to the invention described in claim 5, the blocking member is located inside the lamp body from the outer surface of the shielding wall, that is, the end surface of the lighting device provided with the shielding wall, so that the shielding wall contacts the other lighting device. Can be prevented.

Referring to FIG. 3, the left and right lamps 67 form separate left and right lamp chambers, and the left and right lamps 67 (the left and right housings 65 and the left and right lenses 66) are mutually connected via an intermediate wall portion 69 located therebetween. Provided integrally. Hereinafter, the left and right housings 65 are combined into a large housing 65D, the left and right lenses 66 are combined into a large lens 66D, and the left and right lamps 67 are combined into a large lamp body 67D. The large housing 65D is an integral injection-molded product using an opaque resin such as ABS, and the large lens 66D is an integral injection-molded product using a transparent or translucent resin such as acrylic.

Referring also to FIG. 6A, a joining rib 68 standing up toward the large housing 65D is integrally formed on the outer periphery of the large lens 66D over the entire periphery. A part of the joining rib 68 (including the joining rib 68 at the end 62) is constituted by the outer peripheral wall 66b of each lens 66. The distal end portion of the joining rib 68 is joined to the outer peripheral portion of the large housing 65D through a sealing material in a joint portion 65a that is integrally formed over the entire circumference. As a result, the outer peripheral portions of the large housing 65D and the large lens 66D are integrally joined to each other over the entire periphery, thereby forming an integrated large lamp body 67D.

Referring to FIG. 6A, the left and right front blinkers 71, like the left and right headlamps 61, each have a housing 75 that opens toward the outside of the vehicle, and a left and right lens 76 that is mounted so as to cover the opening of the housing 75. A hollow lamp body 77 is mainly formed, and the bulb 71b is disposed in each lamp body 77. The reflector 71 c is integrally formed at the center of each housing 75.

The lenses 76 of the left and right front turn signals 71 each have a lens body 76a that forms the lens outer surface 71a and faces the housing 75 (reflector 71c). An outer peripheral wall 76b that stands up toward the housing 75 is integrally formed on the outer peripheral portion of each lens body 76a over the entire periphery.

The left and right housings 75 are each an integral injection-molded product using an opaque resin such as ABS, and the left and right lenses 76 are each an integral injection-molded product using a transparent or translucent resin such as acrylic.

The outer peripheral wall 76 b of each lens 76 is a bonding rib 78 for each housing 75. The distal end portion of each joining rib 78 is joined via a sealing material in a joining portion 75a that is integrally formed with the outer peripheral portion of each housing 75 over the entire circumference. As a result, the outer peripheral portions of the housings 75 and the lenses 76 are integrally joined to each other over the entire circumference, so that each integral lamp body 77 is configured.

Here, referring to FIG. 6 (a), the parting of the lamp body 67 (each lens 66 and each housing 65) of each headlamp 61 at the time of molding is performed along a straight line t1 that is substantially along the front-rear direction. On the other hand, when the lamp body 77 (each lens 76 and each housing 75) of each front turn signal 71 is molded, the parting is performed along a straight line t2 that is inclined so as to be located forward toward the left and right outer sides. That is, the mold dividing direction of each front turn signal 71 is inclined with respect to the mold dividing direction of each headlamp 61.

Therefore, when the head lamp 61 and the end portions 62 and 72 of the front turn signal 71 are arranged close to each other, the lens 66 and the head lamp 61 in the headlamp 61 are conventionally disposed inwardly of the outer surfaces 61a and 71a of the lenses. The joint portion 65a of the housing 65 and the lens 76 in the front turn signal 71 and the joint portion 75a of the housing 75 easily interfere with each other (see FIG. 6B). On the other hand, if the headlamps 61 and the front turn signals 71 are simply separated to avoid the interference, the gap s between them widens and it is difficult to form an integrated appearance.

Therefore, in this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 3 to 5 and FIG. 6A, the end portions 62, from the lens outer surface 61 a side to the end portions 62 on the left and right outer sides (front blinker 71 side) of the headlamp 61. A shielding wall 81 extending so as to enter the gap s between 72 is provided, and a joining rib 68 to the housing 65 at the outer peripheral portion of the lens 66 is located on the inner side (inner peripheral side, center side) of the lamp body with respect to the shielding wall 81. Is provided.

The shielding wall 81 includes a flange portion 81a that extends outward (outer peripheral side) of the lamp body along the lens body 66a (lens outer surface 61a), and an extension portion 81b that is bent and extends into the gap s from the tip of the flange portion 81a. It has. That is, the shielding wall 81 forms a belt-like lens outer surface 61 a having a predetermined width outside the lamp body from the flat joining rib 68 at the end portion 62, and further outside the lamp body from the joining rib 68 at the end portion 62. The extension part 81b is formed. Since the extending part 81b is configured to bend and extend, the influence on the external force can be reduced.

The extending portion 81b has a thin plate shape substantially parallel to the front-rear direction, and is provided in a flat shape inclined so that the left and right outer sides are positioned downward in front view so as to be substantially parallel to the joining rib 68 at the end portion 62. In a side view, it is provided in a belt shape having a predetermined width that forms a V-shape convex forward along the cross-sectional shape of the lens outer surface 61a. The extension length of the extension portion 81 b toward the housing 65 is substantially shorter than that of the joining rib 68. The outer side surface 81 c of the extending portion 81 b constitutes the left and right outer end surfaces of the headlamp 61.

The extending portion 81b of the shielding wall 81 is inclined with respect to the direction orthogonal to the lens outer surfaces 61a and 71a, and the extending portion 81b enters the gap so that it is viewed from the outside of the vehicle. In this case, it becomes difficult to see the back of the gap s, and the gap s itself becomes inconspicuous.
Note that a flange-shaped shielding wall 84 extending outward from the lamp body along the lens body 76a (lens outer surface 71a) is formed at the end 72 of the front blinker 71, and the width of the gap s is also formed by the shielding wall 84. Is narrowed.

Then, by providing the joint rib 68 on the inner side of the lamp body than the extending portion 81b, the joint portion 65a of the lens 66 and the housing 65 at the end 62 is displaced to the inner side of the lamp body. While making the front turn signal 71 close to each other, interference between the joint portions 65a and 75a in the head lamp 61 and the front turn signal 71 is prevented.

The joining rib 68 at the end portion 62 has a plate shape substantially parallel to the extending portion 81b of the shielding wall 81, that is, substantially parallel to the front-rear direction, and the joining rib 68 has a predetermined gap inside the lamp body of the extending portion 81b. Is provided. As a result, a cavity 82 having a predetermined thickness that opens toward the housing 65 is formed between the extension 81b and the joining rib 68 (inside the shielding wall 81).

The opening 82a of the cavity portion 82 and the joint portion 65a are generally separated from each other, and a sponge member 83 that closes the opening 82a of the cavity portion 82 is attached to the separated portion (open portion of the cavity portion 82).

The sponge member 83 has air permeability and flexibility, such as urethane sponge, and is bonded to the outer surface of the joining rib 68 using a double-sided tape or the like. The sponge member 83 is attached across the opening 82a of the cavity 82 and the joint 65a.

The sponge member 83 has a plate shape along the outer surface of the joining rib 68, and the outer surface 83 a is located on the inner side of the lamp body from the outer surface 81 c of the extending portion 81 b of the shielding wall 81 (that is, the end surface of the headlamp 61). ing. Thereby, even when the headlamp 61 and the front turn signal 71 are brought close to each other, the sponge member 83 does not come into contact with the front turn signal 71.

As described above, the lamp structure of the saddle-ride type vehicle in the above embodiment includes the head lamp 61 located on the left and right inner sides of the vehicle body and the front blinker 71 located on the left and right outer sides of the vehicle body, and the head lamps. 61, the left and right outer end portions 62 and the left and right inner end portions 72 of the front turn signal 71 are adjacent to each other so as to be continuous with each other. The housings 65 and 75 that open in the direction and the lenses 66 and 76 that close the openings of the housings 65 and 75 are integrally joined at the outer peripheral portions thereof. A shielding wall 81 extending from the outer surface 61 a side so as to enter the gap s between the end portions 62 and 72 is provided, and the lamp body is more than the shielding wall 81. Joining rib 68 of the housing 65 at the outer peripheral portion of the lens 66 on the side are provided, and wherein between the shield wall 81 and the bonding rib 68 in which the cavity 82 is provided.

According to this configuration, the shielding wall 81 extending so as to enter the gap s between the end portions 62 and 72 from the lens outer surface 61a side is provided on the end portion 62 of the headlamp 61 adjacent to the front turn signal 71. Thus, it becomes difficult to see the back of the gap s from the outside of the vehicle, and the head lamp 61 and the front turn signal 71 can be integrated with each other without making the gap s inconspicuous.
Further, by providing a joining rib 68 with the housing 65 at the outer peripheral part of the lens 66 inside the lamp body from the shielding wall 81, a joining part between the lens 66 and the housing 65 at the end 62 where the shielding wall 81 is provided. 65a can be displaced to the inside of the lamp body, the head lamp 61 and the front turn signal 71 are prevented from interfering with each other, and the head lamp 61 and the front turn signal 71 are moved closer to each other. An integrated and continuous appearance can be formed.
Then, by providing the cavity 82 between the shielding wall 81 and the joining rib 68, compared to the case where these are simply formed into a single thick wall, sink marks (dents caused by molding shrinkage, Indentation or the like) can be prevented from occurring on the lens outer surface 61a, and the lens appearance can be maintained well.
Furthermore, the effect of improving the appearance can be enhanced by applying the lighting device structure in the vicinity of the headlamp 61 and the front turn signal 71 that are relatively conspicuous in the motorcycle 1.

Further, in the above-mentioned lighting device structure, the cavity portion 82 opens toward the housing 65 side, and the sponge member 83 is attached to the opening 82a of the cavity portion 82, thereby facilitating the formation of the cavity portion 82. Therefore, it is possible to prevent dust and the like from entering the hollow portion 82 and maintain the lens appearance well. Further, by closing the opening 82a of the cavity portion 82 with the sponge member 83, air permeability in the cavity portion 82 can be ensured, and occurrence of fogging inside the cavity portion 82 can be prevented.

Furthermore, in the lamp structure, the sponge member 83 is arranged on the inner side of the lamp body from the outer surface 81c of the shielding wall 81, so that the sponge member 83 is the outer surface 81c of the shielding wall 81, that is, the shielding wall 81. It is possible to prevent the shielding wall 81 from coming into contact with the front turn signal 71 by being positioned on the inner side of the lamp body from the end surface of the headlamp 61 provided with.
