洗浄槽に一定量で投入された食品を洗浄して排出させるまでの工程を1サイクルとして繰り返し行なうバッチ式食品洗浄装置への食品搬送装置であって、
搬送コンベアの終端下方にロードセルにより支持された計量ホッパが設けられ、
この計量ホッパの底面に前記バッチ式食品洗浄装置の洗浄槽に臨む底面開口部が形成されると共に、この底面開口部に排出シュートが開閉可能に設けられ、
前記搬送コンベアから計量ホッパ内に落下して収容された食品の重量が、ロードセルに設定した設定重量に達すると、前記搬送コンベアが停止すると共に、排出シュートが開放して前記計量ホッパ内に収容された食品がバッチ式食品洗浄装置へ投入されるように形成され、
かつ前記排出シュートの先端側における計量ホッパの側壁下部に前記底面開口部に連通して側面排出口が形成されると共に、この側面排出口に前記排出シュートの開閉動作に連動して同時に開閉する側部開閉蓋が設けられている食品搬送装置。
