Description
The present invention relates to a gas-liquid separator and a method for draining an element for gas-liquid separation accommodated in the gas-liquid separator, and preferably relates to a humidifier and a method for draining a humidifying element accommodated in the humidifier. It is.
Conventionally, a gas-liquid separator that separates a gas and a liquid by using a gas-liquid separation membrane has been used in various fields such as humidification, dehumidification / degassing, and gas dissolution. Among these, the membrane type humidifier has been rapidly spreading in recent years because it has high humidification efficiency and enables clean humidification as compared with a conventionally used evaporation plate type humidifier.
As a membrane type humidifier, water is passed through the inside of a substantially envelope-shaped humidifying element in which a waterproof moisture-permeable sheet is formed on both sides, water vapor is separated from the waterproof moisture-permeable sheet and allowed to pass through the moisture discharge surface. A method of humidifying by ventilation is known, and a humidifier is configured by arranging a plurality of the humidifying elements in parallel in a frame (for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2). More specifically, in the humidifying element of Patent Document 1, a moisture permeable membrane (such as stretched porous polytetrafluoroethylene) is laminated on both surfaces of a humidifying water retaining layer (such as a three-dimensional structure fabric knitted with polyester monofilament). It is a humidifying element (three-layer humidifying element) in which a through-hole serving as a water injection port is formed in a humidifying sheet in which layers are integrated. In addition, the humidifying element of Patent Document 2 covers both sides of a frame with a thin plate in the middle with a waterproof and moisture permeable sheet (such as a laminate of a porous polytetrafluoroethylene film and a protective sheet) and supplies the frame to the frame. It is a humidifying element (hollow plate type humidifying element) in which a drainage port is formed.
The present invention has been made paying attention to the above-described circumstances, and an object thereof is to establish a technique capable of maintaining the effective membrane area of the gas-liquid separation sheet for a longer period of time.
As a result of intensive research in order to solve the above problems, the present inventor is likely to accumulate and accumulate impurities in a specific portion (windward side) of the gas-liquid separation sheet, and to move the windward side in the leeward direction. It has been found that the effective membrane area can be maintained for a longer period of time by draining the solution at an angle, and the present invention has been completed.
For example, in a conventional humidifier, a humidifying element as shown in the schematic plan view of FIG. 1 is used. This
That is, the present invention is directed to a gas-liquid separator of a type that ventilates the vapor discharge surface of a substantially envelope-shaped gas-liquid separation element whose surface is constituted by at least a part of a gas-liquid separation sheet. The gas-liquid separator has at least one liquid passage opening formed below the gas-liquid separation element.
A plurality of the gas-liquid separation elements are connected in series so that the vapor discharge surfaces face each other while leaving a ventilation interval.
When the angle formed by the edge and the horizontal plane when the edge of the windward side is laid down while the windward side of the gas-liquid separation element is up and the windward side is down is 0 degrees. The gas-liquid separation element is characterized in that the angle formed by the windward side edge and the horizontal plane is adjusted to be 7 to 87 degrees.
The gas-liquid separator usually includes a frame body for connecting a plurality of gas-liquid separation elements and one or more liquid passage ports extending from the lower side of the frame body. The liquid passage port communicates with each liquid passage opening of the gas-liquid separation element.
The distance between the windward side edge and the leeward side edge of the gas-liquid separation element is usually 3 cm or more. A preferred gas-liquid separation element has a shape in which a thin plate is hollowed out, and the gas-liquid separation sheet is stretched on one side or both sides of a frame body provided with an opening for liquid passage in at least a part. As the gas-liquid separation sheet disposed on the surface of the gas-liquid separation element, for example, a laminated sheet of a gas-liquid separation membrane (preferably a porous polytetrafluoroethylene film) and a protective sheet can be used.
A preferred gas-liquid separator includes the gas-liquid separation element, a frame body that continuously holds a plurality of the gas-liquid separation elements in a continuous manner, a tray that receives the frame body, and the frame body. A gas-liquid separator that is disposed between the tray and a support base that tilts and supports the frame body is included.
The gas-liquid separator is preferably a humidifier using a waterproof and moisture-permeable sheet that separates and passes water vapor from water as the gas-liquid separation sheet. A humidifier unit can be configured using the humidifier, and an air conditioning unit can be configured using the humidifier unit.
In the present invention, at the time of drainage, the windward side edge is inclined so that the angle formed by the windward side edge of the gas-liquid separation element and the horizontal plane is 7 to 87 degrees. A method of draining the gas-liquid separating element that drains from the liquid opening is also included.
In this specification, the term “sheet” is used to include “film” and “membrane”.
According to the present invention, the gas-liquid separation element is drained by tilting the leeward side in the leeward direction, so that accumulation of accumulated impurities can be remarkably reduced, so that the effective film area can be maintained for a longer period of time.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings as appropriate, taking a humidifier (humidifying element) which is one embodiment of the present invention as an example. FIG. 2 is a schematic perspective view showing an example of a humidifying element used in the present invention, FIG. 3 is a partially cutaway perspective view of the humidifying element of FIG. 2, and FIG. 5 is a partially cutaway schematic front view showing an example of a humidifier, FIG. 5 is a partially enlarged view of the humidifier of FIG. 4, and FIG. 6 is a partially cutaway schematic side view of the humidifier of FIG. 7 is a schematic perspective view showing an example of a humidifying unit using the humidifier of FIG. 4, and FIG. 8 is a conceptual diagram (side view) for explaining the function of the humidifier (humidifying element).
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
Further, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 7, in the present invention, a plurality of the humidifying elements 10 (in the illustrated example, 10 or more, particularly 20 or more) are continuously provided in order to increase the humidification efficiency. For this purpose, a plurality of humidifying
More specifically, as shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, the
Further, on the front side and the back side of the
According to the
In the
By the way, even if it is the
That is, as shown in FIG. 8, in the
Therefore, what is important for the present invention is the inclination angle of the hatched portion, in other words, the inclination angle of the
The distance between the
In the present invention, various
The
The planar shape of the humidifying element is not particularly limited as long as the angle θ falls within a predetermined range, and is generally rectangular (such as a rectangular inclined shape, a parallelogram shape and its inclined shape) such as the
The water passage opening 21 of the humidifying element only needs to be formed on the lower side, and may be, for example, the bottom. Moreover, the number of the
The
Further, the type of the humidifying element is not particularly limited as long as it has a substantially envelope shape. For example, a humidification element (hollow plate type humidification) of a type in which a waterproof and moisture permeable sheet is stretched on both sides of a
The waterproof and moisture
The waterproof and moisture
As the waterproof and moisture

Further, the

The
The
The present invention is not limited to the humidifier 40 (and the humidification unit 50), and is applied to various gas-liquid separators (gas-liquid separation units) such as a dehumidifying / humidifying unit, a degassing unit, and a gas dissolving unit. Can do. When applied to a gas-liquid separator, the above term "waterproof moisture permeable sheet" is "gas-liquid separation sheet", "humidification membrane" is "gas-liquid separation membrane", "water vapor discharge surface" is "steam discharge surface" The “humidification element” is the “gas-liquid separation element”, the “water passage opening” is the “liquid passage opening”, the “water passage” is the “liquid passage”, and the “drainage” is “ The term “drainage” may be read as appropriate.
According to the present invention as described above, the drainage is performed by tilting the leeward side of the gas-liquid separation element in the leeward direction, so that the deposited impurities can be remarkably reduced and the effective film area can be maintained for a longer period of time. . It is also possible to make the drain interval for discharging impurities longer than before. Furthermore, when the gas-liquid separator is tilted, the height of the gas-liquid separation unit can be reduced. Therefore, for example, when applied to an air conditioning unit for embedding a ceiling, the gas-liquid separation unit (humidification unit) of the present invention can be used even if the height of the back of the ceiling is low.
EXAMPLES Hereinafter, the present invention will be described more specifically with reference to examples. However, the present invention is not limited by the following examples, but may be appropriately modified within a range that can meet the purpose described above and below. Of course, it is possible to implement them, and they are all included in the technical scope of the present invention.

Based on the following formula, the performance deterioration rate was calculated from the initial humidification amount (W 0 ) and the humidification amount after 300 hours of use (W 300 ).
Performance degradation rate (%) = (W 0 −W 300 ) / W 0 × 100

The results are shown in Table 1 and FIG.
As is apparent from Table 1 and FIG. 12, according to the present invention, the drainage is performed while keeping the angle θ within a predetermined range, so that a decrease in membrane performance can be reduced. For example, when Example 2 is compared with Comparative Example 2 (conventional example), the performance deterioration rate of the humidifier of Example 2 is ¼ that of the conventional example. From this, it can be predicted that the life of the humidifier of Example 2 is about four times that of the conventional example.
