Claims (15)
- 複合プライを配置する装置であって、
ウェブ面と第1の湾曲したキャップ面とを有する湾曲したフォームと、
前記ウェブ面上で複合材料を圧縮してウェブプライを形成するウェブ用の圧縮ローラと、
前記キャップ面に当接する第1の1セットの案内ローラとを具備し、前記圧縮ローラは、前記案内ローラにより前記フォームに沿うように導かれる装置。 - 前記フォームの第2のキャップ面に当接する第2の1セットの案内ローラと、
前記複合材料を供給するように構成されたスプールと、
前記複合材料に十分なドラッグテンションを発生させるテンション装置とを更に具備している請求項1の装置。 - 前記複合材料を前記圧縮ローラへと案内するノーズピースと、
前記複合材料の性質を改良するのに十分な熱を複合材料に加える、前記ノーズピース中の加熱部材とを更に具備している請求項1の装置。 - 前記キャップ面にキャッププライを配置するキャップ用の圧縮ローラを更に具備している請求項1の装置。
- 前記ウェブプライと前記キャッププライとの間のインターフェースに圧縮力を与える45°の圧縮ローラと、
プライを置くように前記ウェブ用の圧縮ローラの軸に対して45°に配置された45°のトウ配置装置とを更に具備し、前記45°の圧縮ローラは、前記プライを圧縮するように構成されている請求項4の装置。 - 前記フォームの第2のキャップ面に第2のキャッププライを配置する第2のキャップ用の圧縮ローラを更に具備している請求項4装置。
- 前記ウェブプライと前記キャッププライとは、前記湾曲したフォームの長手方向軸に対して約0°で配置される請求項4の装置。
- 湾曲した複合プライを製造する装置であって、
トウ配置装置をフォームのキャップ面に沿って案内するための手段と、
前記フォームのウェブ面上にウェブプライを形成するように、複合材料の連続的に互いに隣接された複数のストリップを平坦なアークの形状に配置するための手段と、
前記ウェブプライを圧縮するための手段とを具備し、
前記複合材料は、一般の繊維の方向を有する複数の繊維を含み、前記ストリップの各々の繊維の方向は、前記平坦なアークの全長に沿って実質的に整合される装置。 - 前記複数のストリップを供給するための手段と、
前記ウェブプライを硬化するための手段とを更に具備し、前記ストリップの各々は、樹脂が含浸された一方向の複合テープから切断されたスリットを有している請求項8の装置。 - キャッププライを前記キャップ面に配置するための手段と、
前記キャッププライを圧縮するための手段と、
前記キャッププライと前記ウェブプライとの間のインターフェースを圧縮するための手段と、
前記ウェブプライと前記キャッププライとの間のインターフェースにプライを配置するための手段とを更に具備し、
前記キャッププライは、一般のテープ繊維の方向を有する複数のテープ繊維からなる複合テープを含み、前記テープ繊維の方向は、前記キャップ面の長手方向の中央線と実質的に整合され、また、接続部が、前記キャッププライと前記ウェブプライとの間のインターフェースに形成され、
前記インターフェースを圧縮するための手段は、前記プライを圧縮するように構成されている請求項8装置。 - 湾曲した複合プライを製造する方法であって、
フォームの1つ又は2つのキャップ面に当接する1セットのローラによりフォームに沿ってトウ配置装置を案内する工程と、
前記フォームのウェブ面上にウェブプライを形成するように、複合材料の連続的に互いに隣接された複数のストリップを平坦なアークの形状に配置する工程と、
前記ウェブプライを圧縮する工程とを具備し、
前記複合材料は、一般の繊維の方向を有した複数の繊維を含み、また、前記ストリップの各々の繊維の方向は、前記平坦なアークの全長に沿って実質的に整合される方法。 - 前記複数のストリップを供給する工程を更に具備し、各ストリップには、樹脂が含浸された一方向の複合テープから切断されたスリットを有する請求項11の方法。
- 前記ウェブプライを硬化する工程を更に具備する請求項11の方法。
- 前記キャップ面にキャッププライを配置する工程を更に具備し、前記キャッププライは、一般のテープ繊維の方向を有した複数のテープ繊維を有する複合テープを含み、また、前記テープ繊維の方向は、前記キャップ面の長手方向の中央線と実質的に整合され、また、接続部が、前記キャッププライとウェブプライとの間のインターフェースに形成される請求項11の方法。
- 前記キャッププライを圧縮する工程と、
前記キャッププライとウェブプライとの間のインターフェースを圧縮する工程と、
前記キャッププライとウェブプライとの間のインターフェースにプライを配置する工程とを更に具備し、
前記キャッププライとウェブプライとの間のインターフェースに配置されたプライは、キャップ面とウェブ面それぞれの面を超えてインターフェースエリアに延びている、ウェブプライとキャッププライの材料を有する請求項11の方法。
