2a〜2f:分割発泡金属素材
Claims (4)
- 中空部を有する薄肉構造部材に発泡金属素材を充填し、この発泡金属素材と前記薄肉構造部材が結合した、衝撃エネルギを吸収する衝撃吸収部材の形成方法であって、前記薄肉構造部材の中空部の深さ寸法に適合した長さを有し、密度のバラツキを±5%以下に管理した発泡金属素材を長さ方向に複数に分割し、この分割した発泡金属素材を組み合わせて前記中空部に充填することを特徴とする衝撃収部材の形成方法。
- 前記複数に分割した各発泡金属素材の端面が金属鋸切断面であり、前記組み合わせた状態が、各金属鋸切断面で接触界面が形成された状態であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の衝撃吸収部材の形成方法。
- 前記発泡金属素材が、0.1〜0.7g/cm3の密度を有するアルミニウム金属からなる軽金属素材であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の衝撃吸収部材の形成方法。
- 中空部を有する薄肉構造部材に発泡金属素材が充填され、この発泡金属素材と前記薄肉構造部材が結合した、衝撃エネルギを吸収する衝撃吸収部材であって、前記発泡金属素材が、密度のバラツキが±5%以下に管理された発泡金属素材であり、前記薄肉構造部材の中空部の深さ寸法に適合した長さを有し、その長さ方向に複数に分割され、この分割された発泡金属素材が組み合わされて前記中空部に充填されていることを特徴とする衝撃吸収部材。
