つけ汁は麺が出来上がる2分前ぐらいに作ることが、おいしく食べるコツであるが、図7に示す従来のように湯切り口を中皿31に設け、この中皿31で湯切りする即席食品用容器では麺類を蒸らしている間には中皿31を使用してつけ汁調理することが不可能である。しかし、本発明では麺の湯戻し、湯切りは外蓋3と容器本体1で、つけ汁の作りは中皿2でそれぞれ同時に進行させることが可能であるため、つまり外蓋3で塞がれた容器本体1内で麺を熱湯で蒸らしている間に中皿2内でつけ汁を作ることが可能であるため、麺が出来上がる数分前につけ汁を作る調理が可能になる。
