Description
Claims (10)
- 第1および第2入力ポートならびに第1および第2出力ポートを有する1つの光フィルタを備え、前記光フィルタは、前記第1入力ポートで光を受信することに応答して前記第1出力ポートに導波路を通って第1の方向に目標周波数範囲の光を送信するように構成され、そして、前記第2出力ポートで光を受信することに応答して前記第2入力ポートに前記導波路を通って前記第1の方向とは反対方向に前記目標周波数範囲の光を送信するように構成され、さらに、
第1および第2フォトダイオードを備え、前記第1フォトダイオードは前記第1出力ポートからの光によって照射されるように配置され、前記第2フォトダイオードは前記第2入力ポートからの光によって照射されるように配置される、装置。 - 前記フォトダイオードは、前記第1フォトダイオードによって受信される光強度と前記第2フォトダイオードによって受信される光強度との差を表す合成電気信号を生成するように電気的に接続される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記フォトダイオードは、実質的に平衡したフォトダイオード対を備える、請求項2に記載の装置。
- シリコン基板上に配設される請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 前記光フィルタは、極/ゼロ・フィルタを含む、請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 通信信号で光ビームを変調するステップと、
変調された前記光ビームを第1変調済光ビームと第2変調済光ビームに分割するステップを含み、前記第1光ビームの変調は前記第2光ビームの変調の相補物であり、さらに、
前記第1変調済光ビームを1つの光フィルタの入力ポートに誘導するステップと、
前記第2変調済光ビームを前記光フィルタの出力ポートに誘導するステップと、
目標狭帯域周波数範囲について前記第1および第2変調済光ビームをフィルタリングするステップとを含み、前記第1および第2変調済光ビームをフィルタリングするステップは、導波路を通ってそれぞれ反対方向に前記光ビームを送信することを含む、方法。 - フィルタリングされた前記光ビームを検出するステップと、
検出された前記光ビームを第1電子信号と第2電子信号に変換するステップとを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記第1電子信号と前記第2電子信号に減算演算を実施するステップを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記光ビームを変調するステップは、前記光ビームをマッハ・ツェンダー変調器で変調するステップを含む、請求項6または8に記載の方法。
- 前記光ビームを変調するステップは、レーザ・ビームをマイクロ波周波数入力で変調するステップを含む、請求項6または8に記載の方法。
