Description
The present invention relates to a parameter setting device, and more particularly to a parameter setting device that inputs parameters to a flow rate calculation device.
One type of flow meter is a flow rate calculation device that calculates and outputs a mass flow rate of a fluid based on parameters input from the outside and a detection value acquired by itself.
In such a flow rate calculation device, a differential pressure between the upstream side and the downstream side of a resistor such as a throttling mechanism installed in the flow path, the temperature of the fluid, and the like are taken in as detection values by a sensor included in the flow rate calculation device. On the other hand, the parameters are set by being input from an external personal computer or the like (parameter setting device).
By the way, three types of communication protocols (foundation fieldbus format, HART format, and PROFIBUS format) are mainly used at present. Since the communication data between the communication processing circuit and the flow rate calculation device needs to correspond to the communication protocol, the parameter input from the communication processing unit to the flow rate calculation device also corresponds to the communication protocol. It needs to be a thing. For this reason, conventionally, predetermined calculation processing performed on parameters input by an operator is performed by a dedicated processing program developed for each communication protocol. And the parameter after the conversion which is a calculation result becomes the data of the format according to the communication protocol between a communication processing part and a flow volume calculation apparatus.
Therefore, it is necessary to prepare a dedicated processing program corresponding to each communication protocol for each arithmetic processing. Since a dedicated processing program corresponding to each communication protocol is difficult to develop, preparing a processing program for each communication protocol requires enormous time and effort.
In addition, each dedicated processing program corresponding to each communication protocol is managed individually. However, since some of the processing programs are duplicated, development waste such as double management occurs.
In addition, at present, the parameter input form (input screen layout, etc.) differs depending on the processing program to be used, which is inconvenient for the operator.
As described above, in the conventional parameter setting device, various troubles have occurred due to the difference in the communication protocol between the communication processing unit and the flow rate calculation device.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to reduce labor caused by a difference in communication protocol between a communication processing unit and a flow rate calculation device.
(1) In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a communication processing unit for a flow rate calculation device that calculates and outputs a flow rate of a fluid based on parameters input from the outside and a detection value acquired by itself. in the parameter setting apparatus for inputting the parameters using the standard communication protocol over,
A flow rate parameter input unit for inputting a flow rate parameter used in an arithmetic expression for calculating the flow rate as the parameter;
A flow rate parameter conversion unit that converts the flow rate parameter input to the flow rate parameter input unit into a flow rate parameter that can be used in the flow rate calculation device based on a program that complies with a specific protocol ;
The flow rate parameter based on the program compliant with the specific protocol generated by the flow rate parameter conversion unit is converted into a format corresponding to the standard communication protocol used between the communication processing unit and the flow rate calculation device , and output. A protocol converter to
It is characterized by providing .
According to the parameter setting device of the present invention, the protocol conversion unit of the parameter setting unit converts the parameter input from the parameter conversion unit into a format corresponding to the communication protocol between the communication processing unit and the flow rate calculation device, and outputs the converted format. . For this reason, parameters in a format corresponding to the communication protocol between the communication processing unit and the flow rate calculation device are stored in the storage unit, and then input to the flow rate calculation device via the communication processing unit.
Moreover, in this invention, the said protocol conversion part can employ | adopt the structure that the said flow rate parameter is converted into the format according to the said communication protocol by converting a unit code.
Moreover, in this invention, the said protocol conversion part can employ | adopt the structure that the said flow rate parameter is converted into the format according to the said communication protocol by converting data precision.
Moreover, in this invention, the structure that the said flow rate is a mass flow rate is employable.
According to the present invention, the protocol conversion unit of the parameter setting unit converts the parameter input from the parameter conversion unit into a format corresponding to the communication protocol between the communication processing unit and the flow rate calculation device, and outputs the converted format. Therefore, even if the processing program in the parameter conversion unit is compatible with any protocol communication, the parameter converted by the processing program is converted into a format corresponding to the communication protocol between the communication processing unit and the flow rate calculation device. Is done. Therefore, the processing program in the parameter conversion unit may be compatible with any protocol communication.
Therefore, it is not necessary to prepare a dedicated processing program corresponding to each communication protocol for each arithmetic processing in the parameter conversion unit, and time and labor in developing the processing program can be reduced.
In addition, there is no need to prepare a dedicated processing program corresponding to each communication protocol, it is only necessary to develop a dedicated processing program corresponding to any one type of communication protocol, and by developing multiple processing programs, It is possible to prevent development waste such as double management.
Moreover, since it is possible to support all communication protocols between the communication processing unit and the flow rate calculation device only by a dedicated processing program corresponding to any one type of communication protocol, parameter input mode (input screen layout, etc.) There is no difference between them and it is easy to use for workers.
As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to reduce various troubles caused by the difference in communication protocol between the communication processing unit and the flow rate calculation device.
