Description
The present invention relates to a tube expansion method for expanding a tube and integrally fixing a plurality of radiation fins to a heat exchanger composed of a plurality of radiation fins and a plurality of tubes inserted through the fins. The present invention relates to a heat exchanger tube expansion method improved so that the collar does not buckle and the heat dissipating fins and heat dissipating fins that overlap each other in the stacking direction are brought into close contact with each other to block the air passage.
For a heat exchanger composed of a large number of radiating fins and a plurality of tubes inserted through the radiating fins, a tube expansion device that expands the inserted tubes and integrally fixes the plurality of radiating fins, Conventionally, for example, it has the following configuration.
That is, the tube expansion device has a reciprocating operation body in which a plurality of tube expansion mandrels are inserted on the back surface side and provided so as to be movable up and down via an expansion device such as a cylinder. The heat exchanger expanded by this tube expansion device is configured such that a hairpin tube having an end formed in a substantially U-shape is inserted into a plurality of radiating fins, and at the time of tube expansion, a hairpin protruding to one end side The end portion of the tube is supported by a receiver having a concave portion into which the lower end portion can be fitted, and a plurality of radiating fins are expanded by expanding the hairpin tube by press-fitting a tube expansion mandrel inserted into the reciprocating body of the tube expansion device. It can be integrally fixed (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
However, in the conventional tube expansion device, when the number of radiating fins is increased, or when the relationship between the load applied to the fin collar and the amount of shrinkage changes when the fin collar shape is changed, the fin collar buckles and moves in the stacking direction. There was a problem that a defect occurred in which the overlapping heat radiating fins and the heat radiating fins closely contact each other to block the air passage.
The present invention has been made to solve such problems, and a first object of the present invention is to provide a heat radiation that is maintained at a uniform distance without causing a large deformation of the fin collar or a collapse of the heat radiation fin. An object of the present invention is to obtain a tube expansion method capable of obtaining a heat exchanger composed of fins, and a second object of the present invention is to realize a tube expansion method with a low incidence of such defects at low cost. With the goal.
The tube expansion method according to the present invention includes a mandrel having a billet at the tip, and a reciprocating body that supports the rear end of the mandrel and is reciprocally supported in the axial direction of the linear portion of the substantially U-shaped hairpin tube. And a pressure drive source for expanding the linear portion by raising and lowering the reciprocating body and press-fitting the billet into the linear portion of the hairpin tube, a hairpin receiver supporting the curved portion of the hairpin tube, and the bending of the hairpin tube Using a tube expansion device having a fin receiver that supports the end of a plurality of heat dissipating fins disposed on the side of the head and a lifting / lowering means that lifts and lowers the fin receiver in the axial direction of the hairpin tube straight line portion. A plurality of stacked heat dissipating fins having through holes formed with fin collars standing upright, and the substantially U-shaped hairpin tube inserted through the through holes in the stacking direction of the heat dissipating fins A heat exchanger tube expansion method for integrally fixing the plurality of heat dissipating fins by expanding a straight portion of the hairpin tube and press-contacting the fin collar with respect to the exchanger, the mandrel being a hairpin In the step of expanding the straight portion by lowering the straight portion of the tube in the axial direction and press-fitting the billet into the straight portion of the hairpin tube, the descending amount of the fin receiver is larger than the cumulative shrinkage amount of the fin collar due to the progress of the tube expansion. Thus, the fin receiver is lowered by the elevating means.
The tube expansion method having such a configuration has a plurality of laminated heat radiation fins having a through hole in which a fin collar is erected on the periphery, and is inserted into the through holes in the lamination direction of these heat radiation fins. For heat exchangers having a substantially U-shaped hairpin tube, the linear portion of the hairpin tube is expanded and pressed against the fin collar to integrally fix a plurality of radiating fins. And a reciprocating plate as a reciprocating member that is supported so as to be able to reciprocate in the axial direction of the straight portion of the hairpin tube, and the reciprocating plate is moved up and down to move the billet to the hairpin. A pressure cylinder as a pressure drive source that expands the straight portion by press-fitting into the straight portion of the tube, a hairpin receiver that supports the curved portion of the hairpin tube, and a curved portion of the hairpin tube A fin receiver that supports the ends of the heat dissipating fins that are arranged in a stack and a hydraulic cylinder that lifts and lowers the fin receiver in the axial direction of the straight portion of the hairpin tube, and the hydraulic cylinder is a mandrel When the billet is lowered and the billet starts to be inserted into the hairpin tube, the fin receiver is lowered to a predetermined position. Since the fin receiver descends when the billet begins to descend, the compressive load on the fin collar that accumulates and increases in the direction of tube expansion is reduced. For this reason, the heat exchanger comprised with the radiation fin maintained at the uniform distance without the large deformation | transformation of a fin collar and the fall of a radiation fin occurring can be obtained.

Next, the defect that the adjacent radiating
Here, the pitch (radiation fin pitch) in the stacking direction of the
The relationship between the number of expanded
Next, FIG. 4 shows a relationship between the load on the
From the relationship between the expansion number of the radiating
Thus, when the amount of shrinkage of the
Here, the cumulative contraction amount of the
In this way, by setting the descending amount z of the
The tube expansion device having such a configuration includes a plurality of
And since the raising / lowering means is the
In the first embodiment, the descending mode of the
FIG. 8 is a relationship diagram showing how the
In the second embodiment, as shown in FIG. 8, it descends at a constant speed to point X, which is the initial stage of pipe expansion, and descends at a speed higher than the initial stage until point Y, the middle stage of pipe expansion. In the later stage of tube expansion, the incremental ratio of the cumulative contraction amount tends to be larger than in the initial stage, so that the speed decreases further from point Y to point Z. In the descending mode of the
In the second embodiment, the
Thus, in this
Here, a method for setting the descending mode of the
In the comparative example, the load applied to the
In the example of the present application, the result that the load applied to the
From this, it can be seen that, in the comparative example, the rapid increase in the load in the vicinity of the point X ′ in FIG. 9 can be mitigated by increasing the descending amount of the
As described above, according to the second embodiment, even if the number of expanded tubes is increased, heat exchange constituted by heat radiation fins that are kept at a uniform distance without occurrence of large deformation of the fin collar or collapse of the heat radiation fins. The effect is that the device can be manufactured at a high yield and at a low cost. In particular, the second embodiment can provide a remarkable effect when applied to the expansion of a heat exchanger having more than 200 expansion tubes.
Therefore, the relationship between the number of expanded tubes and the load applied to the
Further, even if the

In the second embodiment, the descending speed of the

From the start of tube expansion to the end of tube expansion, the
By doing so, when the pipe expansion is started and the

With such a configuration, when the pipe expansion is started and the
When a high performance heat transfer tube whose surface roughness is increased by the spiral groove formed on the inner surface being raised on the outer surface, the frictional resistance of the surface of the
