Description

【0001】
【0022】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Although the present invention is not particularly limited, the battery is attached to a cylindrical part of a dry battery such as a cylindrical or prismatic alkaline battery or alkaline manganese battery, and is detached when the battery becomes a waste battery. The present invention relates to a battery provided with an insulating tape that is attached to the extreme side of the battery so as to prevent accidents due to short circuits or unintentional charging due to contact with other waste batteries.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a tape called a “virgin seal” has been attached to the extreme part of the battery for the purpose of indicating the unused state of the battery. The virgin tape was peeled off when used and discarded as garbage.
[0003]
In addition to the above, there is known one in which an outer periphery of a battery is provided with an identification body having an identification property such as a pattern that varies depending on the type of the battery (see, for example, JP-A-10-228889).
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, when a used battery is discarded as a waste battery, it is left in a specified battery box in a state where different kinds of batteries are mixed at random. However, even though it has been used, depending on the remaining amount of the battery, other batteries may be charged, sudden discharge may be caused, or the battery may be short-circuited and left in a very dangerous state. In addition, since the used batteries are discarded without being sorted, the recovery operation is extremely complicated and difficult at present.
[0005]
In the present invention, when discarding a used battery, by covering the electrode portion of the battery with an insulating tape, accidents due to unintended charging or short-circuiting can be prevented in advance, and safety at the time of disposal can be improved. The main object is to provide a battery having an insulating tape.
[0006]
Another object of the present invention is to provide an insulating tape for a battery in which the form of a discarded battery can be identified by using a combination with a detection device by applying an identification material to the insulating tape.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention holds an insulating tape that has adhesiveness and can be peeled off and can be re-attached to an exterior portion of a battery, and when the battery is used, the insulating tape is attached to the exterior of the battery. The battery is provided with an insulating tape for preventing accidents of used batteries, which can be peeled off from the part and reattached to the electrode part of the battery to prevent electrical connection with the outside.
[0008]
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the insulating tape is formed of a resin film such as polyvinyl chloride (PCV).
[0009]
In another embodiment of the present invention, the insulating tape may be configured such that the resin film is provided with an identification symbol for identifying a battery type or a layer of an identification material.
[0010]
In the present invention, the layer of the discriminating material is preferably selected from a magnetic material, a field electron emission material, and a dielectric.
[0011]
In the present invention, an adhesive that can be peeled off and re-tackified is applied to a desired position on one side of the insulating tape.
[0012]
[Action]
In the present invention, when a used battery is discarded, an accident due to charging or short-circuiting can be prevented in advance, so that the danger at the time of disposal of the battery can be reduced.
[0013]
In addition, by making the insulating tape have a distinguishable configuration, it is possible to sort according to the type of battery.
[0014]
【Example】
As a preferred embodiment of the present invention, an example applied to a cylindrical alkaline battery and a prismatic alkaline battery will be described below.
1A is an overall perspective view of a cylindrical alkaline battery. As shown in the figure, an electrical insulating tape 11 formed of a resin film such as transparent vinyl chloride is wound almost at the center of the exterior surface 10a of the cylindrical alkaline battery. As will be described later, the length of the tape 11 is long enough to sufficiently cover the positive terminal, the negative terminal, or both.
One side of the insulating tape 11 is provided with an adhesive that can be detached at least once and can be attached again. As this type of adhesive, acrylic or vinyl acetate can be suitably used.
[0015]
The insulating tape 11 is composed of only a transparent polyvinyl chloride (PVC) film and can be employed for the purpose of insulation only. A desired identification material is applied to the polyvinyl chloride film, and a known detection device ( It is also possible to identify the type of the battery by detecting the physical properties of the identification material by means of (not shown), so that the battery can be sorted.
[0016]
FIG.1 (b) has shown the example which affixed the insulating tape 11 to the positive electrode terminal side. That is, the insulating tape 11 is peeled off from the surface of the battery exterior shown in FIG. 1a and attached so as to tie the facing exterior ends so as to cover the terminal 12 on the positive electrode side, thereby eliminating the external exposure of the positive electrode terminal. .
[0017]
FIG. 1C is an example in which the insulating tape 11 shown in FIG. 1A is used for the negative electrode side 13 of the battery, and shows a configuration in which the negative electrode side end is attached so as to be wound as shown. Yes. In this embodiment, since the strip-shaped insulating tape 11 is wound around the negative electrode side end, and then folded and adhered to the negative electrode terminal surface side, the insulating tape is folded over at the central portion of the negative electrode side 13. For this reason, as shown in the figure, wrinkles, wrinkles, or some irregularities are formed, but electrical connection with other members can be prevented as much as possible. In the illustrated example, the central portion of the negative electrode terminal 13 is exposed. However, if necessary, the width of the insulating tape 11 can be increased to reduce the exposed portion as much as possible.
[0018]
In this way, the insulating tape adhered to the outer surface of the cylindrical alkaline battery is peeled off from the used battery and adhered to one or both of the positive electrode side and the negative electrode side as described above. The connection with the element can be prevented. In addition, when pasting on both the positive electrode side and the negative electrode side, the length of the insulating tape is formed to be long enough to be double-wrapped, or parallel to the exterior surface 10a in two stages (illustrated). Omission) It is also possible to form the insulating tape 11, peel off each of them, and use them on both the positive electrode side and the negative electrode side.
[0019]
FIG. 2 shows an example of a square battery. In FIG. 2 (a), when the insulating tape 11 is wound around the outer portion of the rectangular battery in advance and discarded as a used battery, it is attached so as to cover the terminal portion as shown in FIG. 2 (b). Let Thus, both terminals of the rectangular battery are prevented from being in electrical contact with the external element. Therefore, unintended charging and short-circuiting can be surely prevented, so that safe disposal can be achieved.
[0020]
In the case of this rectangular battery as well, the insulating tape 11 is composed only of a transparent polyvinyl chloride (PCV) film for the purpose of insulation only, like the cylindrical battery shown in FIG. By applying a desired identification material to the polyvinyl chloride film and detecting the physical properties of the identification material with a known detection device (not shown), the type of the battery can be specified and discriminated according to the type of the battery. It is also possible to make it.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, when an insulating tape that has adhesiveness and can be peeled off and can be reattached is held on the exterior portion of the battery, In this battery, the insulating tape is peeled off from the battery exterior and reattached to the battery electrode to prevent electrical connection with the outside.
Further, the insulating tape may be formed of a resin film, or may be formed by providing a layer of a discriminating material on the resin film. The discriminating material can be selected from magnetic materials, field electron emission materials, dielectrics, and the like.
With this configuration, in the present invention, when a used battery is discarded, an accident due to charging or short-circuiting can be prevented, and the danger at the time of disposal can be reduced. Further, by making the insulating tape have a distinguishing configuration, it is possible to sort according to the battery type.
[0022]
[Brief description of the drawings]
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a cylindrical battery in which an insulating tape according to the present invention is provided on a cylindrical portion, and (a) shows a state in which the insulating tape is peeled off from the cylindrical portion and attached to the positive electrode side of a used battery. FIG. 4B is a diagram showing a state where the similarly peeled insulating tape is attached to the negative electrode side of the battery.
FIGS. 2A and 2B are diagrams showing a state in which the insulating tape according to the present invention is adopted in a rectangular battery, wherein FIG. 2A is a diagram showing a state in which the insulating tape is attached to a cylindrical part of the rectangular battery, and FIG. It is a figure which shows the state stuck so that it might cover.
