Description

The present invention relates to a lever switch operated and operated in two directions such as a left-right direction and a vertical direction.

Conventionally, as a detection lever switch used for detecting the operation of various mechanisms such as digital camera zoom operation keys and operation keys when setting up / down, a movable contact made of an elastic metal sheet and a fixed contact are combined. Lever switches are widely known.
In such a lever switch, the plate-shaped movable contact is bent in the left-right direction and brought into contact with the left and right fixed contacts. A length is required, and it is difficult to reduce the size of the entire switch. In addition, since the fixed contact also bends after the lever has been rotated by a predetermined stroke and a stable contact pressure with the movable contact is obtained, contact of the contact is not possible when the lever is in the middle of operation. There was a problem that it was easy to become stable.
In order to solve such a problem, a common contact is planted at the center of the inner bottom surface of the case, and fixed contacts are respectively planted on both opposing inner side walls, and the middle contact between the substantially M-shaped elastic metal movable contacts is provided on the common contact. Each of the contact portions at the tip of the second arm portion formed through the folded portion provided at the tip of the first arm portion extending left and right from both ends of the intermediate portion, respectively. There has been proposed a lever switch in which a sliding body slides on the inner bottom surface of the case by turning the lever, and the pressing portions at both ends cause the contact portion of the movable contact to contact and separate from the fixed contact. (For example, see Patent Document 1)
JP 2003-132765 A

However, in the thing of patent document 1, the sliding body is moved by rotation of a lever using the sliding body separate from a lever, and the press part of both ends contacts and separates the contact part of a movable contact to a fixed contact. According to the present invention, by adopting the above-described configuration, it is possible to provide a lever switch capable of reducing the number of parts and reducing the cost as a simple structure.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
1 is a perspective view of a lever switch according to an embodiment of the present invention as viewed from the front side, FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the lever switch of FIG. 1 as viewed from the side, and FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the lever switch of FIG. It is the perspective view seen from the back side.
As shown in the cross-sectional view of FIG. 7, the lever switch according to the present embodiment has a switch sheet in which push-type switches 1A and 1B that are turned on in the pressed state and turned off in the non-pressed state are embedded on the upper surface. A plastic pedestal 2 mounted on a printed wiring board 1 on which 100 is laminated, and a plastic operation member 4 having an operation portion 3 operated on the outer surface in the direction of arrow A and arrow B with a finger or the like. Yes. The printed wiring board 1 is positioned by the notch 9 and the mounting boss 5 protruding from the bottom surface of the pedestal 2 and is sandwiched between the mounting surface of the electronic device (not shown) to which the lever switch is mounted and the pedestal 2. It has become. Further, the operation member 4 has pin-shaped protrusions 6 protruding laterally from left and right guide portions of the pedestal 2, which will be described later, and is fitted into an arc-shaped elongated hole 8 formed in the side piece 7 of the operation member 4. By doing so, the base 2 is rotatably connected.

4 and 5 are exploded perspective views of the lever switch according to the present embodiment as viewed from both the left and right directions. The pedestal 2 has an arcuate guide surface 10 extending in parallel from the upper end portion 14 to the lower end portion 15. A pair of guide portions 11 are provided, and a support portion 13 is installed in the central portion 16 that connects the guide portions 11 to support the urging member 12 made of a coil spring. . Further, openings 17A and 17B are formed on both sides of the bottom surface of the pedestal 2 with the central portion 16 in between. Push-type switches formed in the upper and lower portions of the upper surface of the printed wiring board 1 in the openings 17A and 17B. It is positioned so that 1A and 1B are disposed.

On the inner surface of the operation member 4, there are formed sliding portions 19 having arcuate sliding contact surfaces 18 that come into contact with the respective guide surfaces 10 of the base 2 and slide along the guide surfaces 10. The upper and lower end portions are respectively formed with operating portions 20A and 20B protruding inward. Further, a space 21 in which the urging member 12 can be accommodated is formed between the operating portions 20A and 20B. As described above, the operation member 4 is mounted on the pedestal by fitting the projection 6 and the long hole 8 together. 2, the biasing member 12 supported by the support portion 13 of the base 2 is accommodated in the space 21 while pressing the inner surface of the operation member 4 upward.
Further, as described above, when the operation member 4 is connected to the pedestal 2, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the operating portions 20A and 20B of the operation member 4 are respectively provided in the openings 17A and 17B of the pedestal 2. Is arranged. The operation surfaces (inclined surfaces) 201A and 201B of these operation parts 20A and 20B are pushed upward by the biasing member 12 and separated from the push type switches 1A and 1B of the printed wiring board 1, and the push type switches 1A and 1B. Are not operated in a non-pressed state (neutral position).

On the other hand, when the operating portion 3 of the operating member 4 is pushed down with a finger, the operating member 4 rotates along the arcuate guide surface 10 of the base 2 as shown in FIGS. The actuating surface 201A of the actuating part 20A presses the push type switch 1A of the printed circuit board 1, and actuates the push type switch 1A to the ON state. In this case, as shown in FIG. 9, the urging member 12 has the sliding surface 18 of the sliding portion 19 of the operation member 4 abutted against the lower end of the urging member 12, and the lower side is compressed. Since the upper side of the urging member 12 extends, when the downward pushing force of the operation unit 3 is released (finger is released), the operation member 4 is moved upward by the urging member 12, and as shown in FIGS. The neutral position is automatically restored, and the push-type switch 1A is turned off to stop the operation.

On the other hand, when the operation unit 3 of the operation member 4 is pushed up with a finger, the operation member 4 rotates along the arcuate guide surface 10 of the pedestal 2 as shown in FIGS. The operation surface 201B of the operation unit 20B presses the push type switch 1B of the printed circuit board 1, and operates the push type switch 1B to the ON state. In this case, as shown in FIG. 11, the urging member 12 has the sliding surface 19 of the sliding portion 19 of the operation member 4 abutted with the upper end of the urging member 12 and compressed the upper side. Since the lower side of the urging member 12 is extended, the operation member 4 is moved downward by the urging member 12 when the upward pushing force of the operation unit 3 is released (finger is released), as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7. The neutral position is automatically restored, and the push-type switch 1B is turned off to stop the operation.

As described above, the operation unit 3 is operated with a finger to rotate the operation member 4 upward or downward, and the push type switch 1A or 1B is pressed by the operation surface 201B of the operation unit 20A to push the push type switch 1A or 1B. The mold switch 1A or 1B can be activated to the ON state. In this case, as long as the push-down operation or push-up operation of the operation member 4 is maintained, the ON state of the push switch 1A or 1B is maintained. On the other hand, when the finger is released from the operation member 4, it immediately returns to the neutral position, the operation of the push switch 1A or 1B is stopped, and the push member 1A or 1B is operated by operating the operation member 4 up and down again. Either 1B can be activated immediately. Such an operation is useful in a switch such as a zoom operation key of a digital camera, in which the zoom operation is continued as long as the switch is maintained in the ON state, and the zoom operation is stopped immediately when the switch is turned off. It will be something.

In this case, the operation surfaces 201B of the operation unit 20A are parallel to the operation units of the push-type switches 1A and 1B when the operation surfaces 201A and 201B press the push-type switches 1A and 1B. As shown in FIG. 9 and FIG. 11, the intermediate position is inclined (see FIG. 7). If the push-type switches 1A and 1B are pressed obliquely, the life of the push-type switch is shortened. However, the operation surfaces 201A and 201B are inclined surfaces, and these operation surfaces 201A and 201B are used to switch the switches 1A and 201B. When it is formed so as to be parallel to the switch when it is pressed, it is preferable because shortening of the push-type switch can be suppressed and the life can be extended.

Further, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 12, a plastic cover 22 having a through hole 22A within the operation range of the operation unit 3 of the operation member 4 is used to protect the operation member 4 from the viewpoint of dust prevention. Part and pedestal 2 are covered. In this case, receiving portions 23 are formed at the upper and lower end portions and side end portions of the pedestal 2 so that the operability of the operation member 4 is not impaired by the cover 22. If the cover 22 around the operation member 4 is pressed and the operation member 4 is prevented from rotating, the operability may be impaired. However, as shown in FIG. When the receiving part 23 which consists of a protrusion part higher than the upper surface of the operation member 4 is formed, since it becomes possible to suppress the fall of the operativity of the said operation member 4, it is preferable.
Further, in the present embodiment, the operation member 4 has an arc-like shape formed on the side piece 7 of the operation member 4 with pin-like protrusions 6 protruding laterally from left and right guide portions of the base 2 described later. Since it is rotatably connected to the pedestal 2 by being fitted into the long hole 8, the operation member 4 and the pedestal 2 can be easily assembled and the pedestal to which the operation member 4 is assembled can be stably pushed. Positioning and mounting can be performed on the switches 1A and 1B, and these three members can be assembled easily and reliably.

As described above, in the present embodiment, the push member is operated by operating the operation member 4 in the vertical direction using the operation member 4 in which the sliding portion 19 and the operation portion 3 are integrated. Therefore, it is possible to provide an inexpensive lever switch with a small number of parts and a simple structure.
