Description
都市環境において動作する場合、当該GPS受信機は、位置確定(position fix)を決定するのに必要な4つのGPS信号のうちの3つを取得するために、前記デジタル受信機チャネルにおけるリアルタイム1ビットサンプリング及び処理を使用する。4つ目のGPS信号を取得するために、ADCは、前記デジタル受信機チャネルにおけるリアルタイム2ビットサンプリング及び処理に切り替わる。改善された信号取得性能によって、4つ目のGPS信号の取得が可能になる。この後、前記4つ目の取得されたGPS信号からの擬似距離が、位置確定を決定するために測定される。
1秒のGPS信号データのスナップショットが、2ビット量子化(−2、−1、1、2を表わす符号及び大きさのビット)においてサンプリングされ、記憶される。この後、前記スナップショットは、4つのGPS信号を取得するための前記デジタル受信機において、前記符号のビットのみの1ビット処理に反復的に従う。ひとたび前記4個のGPS信号が取得されると、前記スナップショットは、位置確定を決定するのに必要な前記4つのGPS擬似距離を測定するためのデジタル受信機チャネルにおける2ビット処理に従う。
Claims (5)
- 少なくとも1つのスペクトル拡散信号を含むサンプリングされた信号ストリームを処理する方法であって、サンプルを第1ビットレベルで処理するステップと、並行して又は後続してのいずれかにおいて、サンプルを前記第1ビットレベルとは異なる第2ビットレベルで処理するステップとを有し、
前記信号ストリームはGPSスペクトル拡散信号を含んでおり、前記サンプルを前記第1ビットレベルで処理するステップはGPS信号を取得するのに使用され、前記サンプルを前記第2ビットレベルで処理するステップは、前記GPS信号から擬似距離を測定するのに使用され、
前記信号ストリームは、前記第1ビットレベル又は前記第2ビットレベルの少なくとも一方よりも高いビットレベルにおいてサンプリングされ、前記サンプルは、信号の前記サンプルのビットを選択的に無視することにより、前記第1ビットレベル又は前記第2ビットレベルのいずれか一方において処理される方法。 - スペクトル拡散信号を取得する困難性が生じる際、前記サンプルの前記第1ビットレベルにおける処理が、前記第2ビットレベルに変更される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記信号ストリームは、前記サンプルが処理されるビットレベルに対応する第1又は第2ビットレベルのいずれかの可変ビットレベルにおいてサンプリングされる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記サンプルは、それぞれのスペクトル拡散信号を取得するために第1又は第2ビットレベルにおいて並行して処理される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記サンプルは、同一のスペクトル拡散信号を取得するために第1又は第2ビットレベルにおいて並行して処理される、請求項1に記載の方法。
