【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は敷布団の表面と掛布団の裏面を覆う寝具用のシーツにかかり、更に詳しくは、全体を拡げなくても敷布団を覆う部分と掛布団を覆う部分との区別ができ、迅速に敷くことができるようにしたものに関する。

【従来技術】
従来から長尺状の布地を折り返したりして両端側を縫い合わせ、敷布団の表面と掛布団の裏面の両方を覆うようにしたシーツが知られている（例えば、実用新案登録第２５７１０５３号公報、登録実用新案第３０３２０１９号公報、登録実用新案第３０４５３８０号公報）。このようなシーツにおいて、敷布団を覆う部分となる側と掛布団を覆う部分となる側は決められており、通常は、長さが長くっている側の布地が敷布団を覆う部分となる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、上記したような従来からあるシーツには、次のような課題があった。
シーツは、長尺状の布地を折り返したりして両側を縫い合わせたものであるので、敷布団を覆う部分と掛布団を覆う部分とが同じ幅を有するようになっている。そのためシーツを折り畳んである状態から少し拡げただけでは、敷布団を覆う部分と掛布団を覆う部分とが区別し難く、これによりシーツを迅速に敷くことが困難であった。

本発明の目的は、上記課題を解消するもので、全体を拡げなくても敷布団を覆う部分と掛布団を覆う部分との区別ができ、迅速に敷くことができるシーツを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために講じた本発明の手段は次のとおりである。
第１の発明にあっては、
敷布団の表面と掛布団の裏面を覆う寝具用のシーツであって、
敷布団の表面を覆う部分と、掛布団の裏面を覆う部分と、前記敷布団の表面を覆う部分の足側の両側に備えられ前記掛布団の裏面を覆う部分の両側との間に跨るように設けてある延長幅布と、
を有し、
前記掛布団の裏面を覆う部分は：
足側の端部を前記敷布団の表面を覆う部分の足側の端部と縫い合わせてあり、
頭側には、掛布団の頭側が内部に挿入可能な袋状に形成された折り返し部を有し、

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施の形態を図面に基づき更に詳細に説明する。

符号Ｓ１はシーツを示している。シーツＳ１は、敷布団の表面と掛布団の裏面とを覆うものである。本実施の形態で示すシーツＳ１は、いわゆるシングル用のものである。

シーツＳ１は、敷布団の表面を覆う部分１（実施の形態では「アンダーシーツ」という）と、掛布団の裏面を覆う部分２（実施の形態では「アッパーシーツ」という）と、アンダーシーツ１の足側（図２において左側）の両側部において、アンダーシーツ１とアッパーシーツ２との間に跨るように設けてある延長幅布３を備えている。本実施の形態でアンダーシーツ１、アッパーシーツ２、延長幅布３は、それぞれ薄手の柔軟性を有する平織りの木綿の布地で形成してある。

アンダーシーツ１は平面視において略長方形状を有している。本実施の形態で示すアンダーシーツ１は、平面視において縦１２２０ｍｍ、横２６００ｍｍの大きさを有している（図１，２参照）。しかし、アンダーシーツ１の大きさはこれに限定するものではない。例えば、シングル用のものであれば、縦１２００〜１３００ｍｍ、横２４５０〜２７００ｍｍの範囲内で、セミダブル用のものであれば、縦１４００〜１５００ｍｍ、横２４５０〜２７００ｍｍの範囲内で、ダブル用のものであれば、縦１５５０〜１６５０ｍｍ、横２４５０〜２７００ｍｍの範囲内で設定されることが好ましい。また、子供用のものであれば、縦９００〜１０００ｍｍ、横１８００〜２３５０ｍｍの範囲内で設定されることが好ましい。

アッパーシーツ２は平面視において、アンダーシーツ１よりも幅広で長さの短い略長方形状を有している。アッパーシーツ２の頭側（図１において右側）には、掛布団が内部に挿入可能な袋状に形成された折り返し部２０が形成してある。
折り返し部２０は、頭側の布地を外方向に所要幅折り返し、折り返した布地とこの布地が覆いかかる箇所の布地との両端側を縫い合わせることで形成してある（縫着部２１）。アッパーシーツ２は、足側の端部をアンダーシーツ１の足側の端部と縫い合わせてある（縫着部２２）。本実施の形態で示すアッパーシーツ２は、平面視において縦１５７０ｍｍ、横２１００ｍｍの大きさを有している（図１，２参照）。しかし、アッパーシーツ２の大きさはこれに限定するものではない。例えば、シングル用のものであれば、縦１５００〜１６００ｍｍ、横２０００〜２３００ｍｍの範囲内で、セミダブル用のものであれば、縦１７００〜１８００ｍｍ、横２０００〜２３００ｍｍの範囲内で、ダブル用のものであれば、縦１８５０〜１９５０ｍｍ、横２０００〜２３００ｍｍの範囲内で設定されることが好ましい。また、子供用のものであれば、縦１１００〜１４００ｍｍ、横１３５０〜２０００ｍｍの範囲内で設定されることが好ましい。

延長幅布３は底面視において細幅の略長方形状であって、頭側が外方向に向かって傾斜する形状に形成してある。延長幅布３は足側の端部がアンダーシーツ１とアッパーシーツ２の足側の端部に沿うように位置させてあり、長さ方向の内側をアンダーシーツ１と縫い合わせ（縫着部２３）、外側をアッパーシーツ２と縫い合わせてある（縫着部２４）。アンダーシーツ１とアッパーシーツ２との縫い合わせは、延長幅布３の略全長にわたってされている。なお、延長幅布３の足側の端部は縫われておらず、開口部４（図４参照）が形成されるようにしてある。

本実施の形態においてシーツＳ１は、上記したように薄手の柔軟性を有する平織りの木綿の布地で形成したが、用いる素材は特に限定するものではない。例えば、厚手のもので形成することもできる。また、絹、麻、合成樹脂またはこれら（木綿を含む）を混紡したものを使用することもできる。更に、蜂巣織り、タオル地、キルティング地のもの等を使用することもできる。

図１ないし図５を参照して本実施の形態で示すシーツＳ１の作用を敷く手順の一例を交えて説明する。

まず、シーツＳ１は畳んであれば拡げる。シーツＳ１はアッパーシーツ２の方がアンダーシーツ１よりも幅が広いので、拡げて両端側が見えれば、瞬時にどちらの布地がアンダーシーツ１なのか、それともアッパーシーツ２なのかが区別できる。

そして、アンダーシーツ１側の布地を下にして、敷布団６の表面に覆いかける。アンダーシーツ１の頭側は、敷布団６の頭側の端部からやや外方に出しておき、敷布団６の裏側に折り返して敷き入れる。

このようにシーツＳ１は、拡げて両端側が見えれば、瞬時にどちらの布地がアンダーシーツ１なのか、アッパーシーツ２なのかが区別できるので、迅速に敷くことができる。

シーツＳ１では、延長幅布３によるアンダーシーツ１とアッパーシーツ２との縫い合わせ（縫着部２３，２４）が、延長幅布３の略全長にわたってされており、足側が袋状に形成されているので、アッパーシーツ２とアンダーシーツ１は互いにずれにくい。また、アッパーシーツ２上に載せてある掛布団５も、頭側が折り返し部の内部に入れてあるので、アッパーシーツ２からずれにくい。

また、シーツＳ１では、延長幅布３の頭側が外方向に向かって傾斜する形状に形成してあるので、例えば、就寝時に足を延長幅布３の頭側の縁部に引っ掛けた場合でも、足を傾斜に沿って外方向に誘導することができ、これにより延長幅布３とアッパーシーツが縫い合わせてある部分（縫着部２４）を破くことが防止できる。

延長幅布３の足側の端部に開口部４が形成してあるので、例えば、シーツＳ１を洗濯した場合も、アンダーシーツ１とアッパーシーツ２と延長幅布３で囲まれた内部に水やゴミ、糸くず等が溜まり難い。また、干して乾かす場合にあっても、開口部から空気が入り内部の風通しが良くなるので、乾きを早めることができる。

なお、上記したシーツＳ１の取り付け手順は一例を示すものであり、取り付け手順を限定するものではない。例えば、アンダーシーツ１とアッパーシーツ２とを区別した後においては、先にアッパーシーツ２に掛布団５に取り付けて、アンダーシーツ１を敷布団６に取り付けることもできる。

また、シーツＳ１を構成するアッパーシーツ２とアンダーシーツ１の頭側には、ボタン、スナップ、ホック、面ファスナー等の取り付け手段を設け、シーツＳ１を折り畳んである状態から拡げるときに、アッパーシーツ２とアンダーシーツ１が合わさった状態から離れないようにすることもできる。このような取り付け手段を設けることにより、シーツＳ１を敷く際の取扱いをし易くすることができる。なお、上記したような取り付け手段は、就寝時において邪魔にならないような状態で設けることが望ましい。
