Description
The present invention relates to an article shelf in which a reader antenna that can be used for wireless communication with an electronic tag provided on an article is provided on a shelf board, that is, an article shelf including a so-called shelf board with an antenna for a reader. Is.
In recent years, RFID that can record a large amount of information in a contactless manner instead of the conventional method of using tags, shelf labels, barcodes, etc., as a management method for goods entering and leaving, inventory, sales, etc. (Radio Frequency Identification) system is being adopted. This RFID system includes an electronic tag attached to the article side and a reader / writer equipped with an antenna for communicating with the electronic tag by wireless communication. This electronic tag is also called a wireless tag or an IC tag, and is composed of communication circuits each including an IC chip incorporating a memory in which information is recorded and a small antenna. Since the reader / writer is usually a fixed station, the reader / writer antenna is generally fixed. When the electronic tag attached to the article or its storage case approaches the reader / writer antenna, information can be exchanged between the two.
A typical reader / writer antenna is printed on, for example, a printed circuit board and accommodated in an opaque casing. On the other hand, merchandise such as ornaments and clothing are often sold on a glass shelf such as a glass showcase. For this reason, recently, an antenna for a reader / writer is provided on a shelf board of an article shelf such as a showcase, and an electronic tag is attached to the article to manage the entry and exit of the article to and from the article shelf such as a showcase. Is also being done.
However, the conventional techniques as described above have problems as described in the following items (1) and (2).
(1) When a reader / writer antenna is attached to a substantially transparent shelf of a substantially transparent article shelf such as a showcase, the reader / writer antenna is opaque and occupies a considerable area. Is blocked by the reader / writer antenna, which makes it difficult for the customer to see the products on the shelf of the article shelf, and impairs the appearance of the almost transparent article shelf such as a showcase.
(2) Even when a loop antenna is formed as an antenna for a reader / writer on the inner or outer periphery of a substantially transparent surface plate portion such as a top plate of a substantially transparent article shelf such as a showcase, the loop antenna is opaque and the customer This makes it easier for customers to focus on the loop antenna, making it difficult to focus attention on the product, making it difficult to see relatively small items such as ornaments, and almost transparent products such as transparent showcases. Appearance of the goods shelf is not good.
The present invention has been invented to solve the problems described in the above items (1) and (2), and the field of view is substantially blocked by a reader antenna such as a reader / writer antenna. It is an object of the present invention to provide an article shelf including a shelf board with a reader antenna.
The present invention provides an article shelf in which an antenna for a reader that can be used for wireless communication with an electronic tag provided on an article is provided on the shelf, and the antenna for the reader is provided on the shelf. A transmittance of a portion of the shelf plate on which the antenna pattern thin film is formed is 60% or more, and the resistance value of the antenna pattern thin film (that is, both terminals of the antenna pattern thin film). The resistance is between 70 ohms or less, and the article shelf includes a shelf board with an antenna for a reader. In this case, it is preferable that the reader antenna also serves as a writer antenna of the reader / writer, and a part other than the reader / writer antenna (in other words, the reader / writer main body) of the reader / writer is also the article. It is preferably provided on a shelf.
In the present invention, the difference in transmittance between the portion of the shelf plate where the antenna pattern thin film is formed and the portion of the shelf plate where the antenna pattern thin film is not formed is 30% or less. Preferably, it is (value of transmittance itself). In this case, the transmittance of the portion where the antenna pattern thin film is formed may be smaller than the transmittance of the portion where the antenna pattern thin film is not formed.
In the present invention, the antenna pattern thin film may be a metal oxide thin film or a metal thin film having conductivity of a surface resistivity of 7 ohms / square or less. The metal oxide thin film may be a transparent conductive film composed of one or more of indium tin oxide (ITO), tin dioxide (SnO 2 ), and the like. , Au film, Ag film, Pt film, Cu film, and the like, but in order to effectively achieve the object of the present invention, indium tin oxide ( An ITO) thin film is preferred.
In the present invention, the shelf is preferably thick in terms of load resistance of the article shelf with respect to the load, but in order to effectively achieve the object of the present invention, the thickness of each shelf is It is preferably 20 mm or less, and more preferably 15 mm or less.
Further, in the present invention, the shelf board is configured by bonding a plurality of substrates, and at least one surface (in other words, the inner surface and / or the surface of at least one of the plurality of substrates). Alternatively, the antenna pattern thin film may be formed on the outer surface.
In the present invention, the shelf board may be composed of a single substrate, and the antenna pattern thin film may be formed on at least one surface of the substrate.
Furthermore, in the present invention, the shelf board is one or more of a substantially transparent glass such as soda lime glass and Pyrex (registered trademark) glass, and a substantially transparent synthetic resin such as acrylic resin. However, in order to effectively achieve the object of the present invention, it is preferably made of a substantially transparent glass such as soda lime glass or Pyrex (registered trademark) glass. In addition, at least one of plate members (left and right side plates, back plates, top plates, bottom plates, partition plates, etc.) and bar members (cross members, other support members, reinforcing members, etc.) constituting the article shelf, or A plurality or all of them may be made almost transparent from glass and / or synthetic resin (preferably glass) as in the case of the shelf board.
According to the present invention, the reader antenna that can be used to perform wireless communication with the electronic tag provided on the article placed on the shelf of the article shelf is provided on the shelf board. Accordingly, the reader antenna is arranged close to the electronic tag provided on the shelf and the article placed on the upper or lower shelf, so that the two can communicate efficiently. be able to.
In addition, since the antenna pattern thin film constituting the reader antenna and the shelf board provided with the antenna pattern thin film are substantially transparent, the article such as a showcase provided with the shelf board provided with the reader antenna is provided. Articles displayed on the shelf board of the shelf can be seen from the outside without obstructing the field of view, and the appearance of the article shelf such as a showcase is provided by providing the reader antenna on the shelf board. There is no substantial damage.
Further, according to the invention described in claim 2, since the difference in transmittance between the portion of the shelf plate where the antenna pattern thin film is formed and the portion where the antenna pattern thin film is not formed is small, It becomes difficult to see, and this makes the antenna pattern thin film inconspicuous for customers.
Further, according to the invention described in claims 3 to 5, 7 and 8, the configuration described in claim 1 can be effectively realized with a relatively simple configuration.
Next, first to fourth embodiments in which the present invention is applied to showcases are described as "(1) First embodiment", "(2) Second to fourth embodiments" and "(3 ) Performance test ", and will be described with reference to the drawings.
(1) First Example As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the showcase 1 in the first example is preferably made of glass and is substantially transparent, and the left side plate 2 toward the left side plate, The right side plate 3 is preferably made of glass and is preferably made transparent, the
The showcase 1 further includes an upper shelf plate 7 that is preferably made of glass and substantially transparent, a
The shelves 6 to 8 are reader / writers for communicating with the products displayed on these shelves 6 to 8, that is, electronic tags (not shown) attached to articles (not shown) by wireless communication.
The reader /
The reader /
Next, a method for producing the ITO
According to the showcase 1 shown in FIG. 1 provided with the shelf boards 6 to 8 as shown in FIG. 2 obtained in this way, the display is displayed on the substantially transparent shelf boards 6 to 8 of the almost transparent showcase 1. It is possible to efficiently manage ornaments, clothing, and the like that are used by the RFID system. Moreover, even though the reader /
(2) Second to fourth embodiments The configuration of the antenna pattern thin film constituting the reader /
First, the
Next, the
According to the second and third embodiments described above, the antenna pattern
Next, the
According to the fourth embodiment described above, it is possible to very effectively prevent the antenna pattern
(3) Performance Test In order to test the performance of the reader /
In Table 1 above, the resistivity (ohm / □) of the ITO
In this case, the ITO
The performance of the reader /
From the evaluation regarding the communicable distance shown in Table 1 above, the matters described in the following items (a) to (d) were found.
(A) It is desirable that the transmittance of the substrates (shelf plates) 6 to 8 in the portion where the antenna pattern
(B) The resistance value between both
(C) The difference in transmittance (total light transmittance) between the portion where the antenna pattern
(D) The ITO thin film for forming the antenna pattern
Thus, when using glass as a board | substrate for the shelf boards 6-8, the thickness of the board | substrates 6-8 is selected so that it can bear the weight of the goods displayed on the shelf boards 6-8. There is a need. However, from the result of the transmission characteristic test shown in Table 2 below, in order to maintain the transmission characteristics of the shelf boards 6 to 8, the thickness of the shelf boards (substrates) 6 to 8 is preferably 20 mm or less, It turns out that it is still more preferable that it is 15 mm or less.
* Second stage: Top plate + transmittance of glass part with antenna on the first stage
* 3rd stage: transmittance of glass part with antenna on top plate + 1st stage + 2nd stage
FIG. 6 is a graph showing the relationship between the total thickness of glass and the transmittance for single glass (in the case of the first to third examples) alone and laminated glass (fourth example) in Table 2 above. Also shown as From FIG. 6 and Table 2 above, it can be seen that the transmittance of the glass is substantially the same if the total thickness is substantially the same, whether it is a single plate glass or two laminated glasses. In addition, in order to make it possible to see the products on the fourth stage (shelf board 6) through the first stage (top board 5), the second stage (shelf board 7) and the third stage (shelf board 8). The transmittance of the third column in Table 2 is preferably 60% or more. Therefore, it can be seen from Table 2 that the thickness of each of the shelf boards 6 to 8 is preferably 20 mm or less and more preferably 15 mm or less when the thickness of the top plate (first stage) 5 is 3 mm.
On the other hand, the lower limit of the thickness of each shelf board 6-8 is determined by the load resistance, but this load resistance also depends on the product placed on each shelf board 6-8, the area of each shelf board 6-8, and the like. . Therefore, the lower limit is generally difficult to determine, but it may be 6 mm or more in a normal use state with a load resistance of 15 kg or more.
Although the first to fourth embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail above, the present invention is not limited to these embodiments, and is based on the spirit of the invention described in the claims. Various changes and modifications are possible.
For example, in the above-described first to fourth embodiments, the three shelf boards 6 to 8 are provided on the top and bottom in the showcase (in other words, the article shelf) 1. There is no need to provide three stages, and other stages such as two stages, four stages or more may be provided above and below, and in some cases, only one stage may be provided.
In the first to fourth embodiments described above, the bottom shelf 6 is also made of glass or the like almost transparent, but the bottom shelf 6 does not necessarily need to be substantially transparent, What formed the opaque coating film on the lower surface etc. of board | plate materials, such as glass, and what was comprised from opaque board | plate materials, such as a synthetic resin, a metal, and a tree | wood, may be sufficient.
Moreover, in the 1st-4th Example as stated above, although the thickness of the top plate 5 is specified as 3 mm, it does not necessarily need to be 3 mm. From the viewpoint of practicality, the thickness of the top plate 5 is preferably 10 mm or less, and more preferably in the range of 2 to 6 mm. Moreover, the top plate 5 can be omitted as necessary.
Furthermore, in the first to fourth embodiments described above, a support base or a plurality of support legs for supporting the bottom of the showcase (in other words, the article shelf) 1 can be provided. Can also be used as an article storage. Moreover, these support bases or support legs may be configured to be substantially transparent from glass, synthetic resin, or the like, or may be configured to be opaque from synthetic resin, metal, wood, or the like.
