Abstract
Description
In the present invention, the reader antenna provided on the shelf of the bookshelf performs wireless communication with an electronic tag provided on the books arranged on the shelf of the bookshelf, thereby managing the books. It is about the system. The present invention also relates to a shelf board used for arranging books stored in a bookshelf and provided with a reader antenna, and a manufacturing method thereof.
In the text, “books” means not only books but also newspapers, magazines, materials, documents, other paper media, and document binding files created by binding such paper media with a binder. In addition, optical recording media such as CD and DVD, and magnetic recording media such as video tape and audio tape are also included.
Conventionally, as a book management system such as a library, a bar code is pasted on the front cover (that is, the front cover or back cover) of each book, and the bar code reader scans the bar code for the information. A system for managing books by taking them into a computer has become widespread.
On the other hand, in recent years, as a management system for entry / exit of goods such as goods, inventory, sales, etc., it has been possible to record a large amount of information in a contactless manner instead of a system using conventional tags, shelf labels, barcodes, etc. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) systems that can be used are being adopted in various fields. This RFID system includes an electronic tag attached to the article side and a reader / writer equipped with an antenna for communicating with the electronic tag by wireless communication. This electronic tag is also called a wireless tag or an IC tag, and is composed of communication circuits each including an IC chip incorporating a memory in which information is recorded and a small antenna. Since the reader / writer is usually a fixed station, the reader / writer antenna is generally fixed. When the electronic tag attached to the article or its storage case approaches the reader / writer antenna, information can be exchanged between the two.
(A) It is easy for a person to recognize the matter described in the book arranged on the shelf board of a bookshelf by the electronic tag affixed on the spine of the book.
(A) In a library or the like, since the classification of books is progressing, it is known in which bookshelf the target book is located, but it is a person who searches the bookcase for the target book. A person looks for information such as a signature, an author name, and a classification mark affixed to the back cover of a book arranged on the shelf of the book shelf, and searches for the target book. However, when the electronic tag is affixed to the back cover of the book, such information may be at least partially hidden.
(B) It may be difficult to attach an electronic tag to the spine of a book.
(B) The antenna of the electronic tag needs a size of about several centimeters in order to transmit / receive radio waves to / from the reader / writer antenna located at a slightly separated position, and is thinner than such a size. It is difficult to attach an electronic tag to the back cover of a book. Further, in the case of a document binding file in which documents are bound by a ring constituting a binder, it is difficult to attach an electronic tag to the back cover of such a document binding file.
(C) The electronic tag is easily peeled off from the back cover of the book.
(C) The back cover of the book is connected to the front and back covers, and deforms as the book is opened and closed, so the electronic tag attached to the back cover opens and closes the book. It may be peeled off by repeating.
(D) The IC chip in the electronic tag attached to the spine of the book is likely to break down.
(D) The back cover of the book to which the electronic tag is attached is not necessarily flat, and in the case of a book having a certain thickness, many of the books have a curved surface, so the electronic tag is attached to the back cover with good adhesion. In such a case, bending stress is easily applied to the electronic tag. In addition, when a book is placed on a desk and opened, a load is easily applied to the spine, so that the electronic tag is deformed and stress is easily applied to the electronic tag, and the electronic tag is easily subjected to an impact.
In order to solve the problems as described in the above items (A) to (D), an electronic tag is attached to the front cover surface or back cover surface of a book as in the case of a barcode method that has been widely used. It is desirable to paste. However, when the electronic tag is attached to the front or back cover of the book, if the reader / writer antenna is a simple loop antenna such as a substantially rectangular shape, as will be described later with reference to FIGS. However, there is a problem that communication can be made only with books stored near the left and right ends of the book storage space of the bookshelf as viewed from the book take-out side.
The present invention has been invented to solve the problems as described above, and does not hinder the normal handling of books, and is highly reliable in the long term. The present invention relates to a shelf board with an antenna for a bookcase.
Furthermore, according to the third aspect of the present invention, a plurality of (for example, two) reader antennas are used in common for books to be stored in a bookshelf arranged on the bookshelf. A shelf board manufacturing method, wherein the substantially loop-shaped antenna pattern of each of the plurality of reader antennas has no crossing portion when seen in a plan view. It is configured in a substantially loop shape substantially along the outer periphery of the shelf so as to be substantially parallel to the surface of the plate, and in the shelf, the shelf plate of each of the substantially loop-shaped antenna patterns is formed. At least a part of at least one pattern portion extending substantially in the frontage direction has a bent portion bent in the depth direction of the shelf board, and the shelf board includes a plurality of reader antennas. Each of the substantially loop-shaped antenna patterns is viewed in a plan view so as to compensate for the incommunicable areas on the shelf, and the bent portions are shifted from each other in the direction of the shelf. In the manufacturing method of the shelf with antennas for bookshelves arranged respectively, for each of the plurality of reader antennas, the communication area and / or the communication inability area with the electronic tag is measured over almost the entire area of the shelf. The plurality of reader antennas so that the communicable areas of some of the plurality of reader antennas supplement the remaining several incommunicable areas of the plurality of reader antennas. It is preferable that it is arranged.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the electronic tag is placed on the front cover and / or back cover so that the electronic tag is substantially parallel to the front cover and / or back cover of the books arranged on the shelf board of the book shelf. Because it is provided, there is no fear that recognition of the items described in the books will be hindered by the electronic tag, the attachment of the electronic tag to the books is relatively easy, and the electronic tag is difficult to peel off from the books. IC chips are hard to break down. In addition, since the antenna pattern having a substantially loop shape of the reader antenna is provided on the shelf board of the bookshelf, a normal bookshelf can be used as it is, and the structure of the bookshelf does not need to be particularly complicated.
According to the invention described in
According to the invention described in claims 3 and 8, the electronic tag provided in the books arranged on the shelf plate has at least one pattern portion extending substantially in the frontage direction of the shelf plate of the book shelf. Since it has a pattern portion that is unlikely to be 90 ° or an angle near the surface, the reader antenna can perform wireless communication with the electronic tag even better.

(1) 1st Example As shown in FIG. 1, the bookshelf 1 in the 1st Example shown in FIGS. 1-5 is the left side plate 2, the right side plate 3, the
The bookcase 1 includes an
On the shelf boards 6-8, as shown in FIG.1 and FIG.3, the
The
As shown in FIG. 4, the reader /
As shown in FIG. 4, the substantially loop-shaped
Each of the rear end
As shown in FIG. 4, the longitudinal
As shown in FIG. 4, the
In FIG. 4, if a central
In the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 5, the first pattern portion (that is, the bent portion) in which the
Therefore, in the present invention, generally, the
Furthermore, in the present invention, generally, the
(2) Second to Fourth Embodiments The configuration of the antenna pattern constituting the reader /
First, the
Next, the
In the third embodiment shown in FIG. 7 configured as described above, the
According to the second embodiment shown in FIG. 6 and the third embodiment shown in FIG. 7 configured as described above, the
Next, the
According to the fourth embodiment shown in FIG. 8 configured as described above, the
In FIG. 8, if a central
In the fourth embodiment shown in FIG. 8, the
Therefore, in the present invention, generally, as in the first and second sections (and the section of the
(3) Communicable Distance Measurement Experiment FIG. 9A is a substantially loop-shaped antenna pattern of the reader /
From the graph of the communicable distance shown in FIG. 9A, it can be seen that the communicable distance slightly decreases at θ = 45 °, and the communicable distance considerably decreases at θ = 60 °. In particular, at θ = 60 °, it can be seen that the communicable distance sharply decreases when the distance x exceeds about 30 mm. From this, the angles α, β (this angle α, β shown in FIG. 4 and FIGS. 6-8) formed by the length direction of the

(4) Fifth Embodiment FIGS. 10 and 11 show a modification of the fourth embodiment shown in FIG. 12 and 13 show a fifth embodiment to which the present invention is applied. 14 and 15 show reference examples for explaining the present invention. In the following, prior to the description of the fifth embodiment shown in FIGS. 12 and 13, a modification of the fourth embodiment shown in FIGS. 10 and 11 and a reference example shown in FIGS. 14 and 15 will be described. A description will be made sequentially. The bookshelf 1 and
In the fourth embodiment shown in FIG. 8, the performance of the reader /
However, in the case of the
The
Since it is as above-mentioned, in the case of the modification shown in FIG.10 and FIG.11, compared with the reference example shown in FIG.14 and FIG.15, with the

In FIG. 12, the back side reader /
(I) The
(Ii) The
Accordingly, in plan view, the left
Since it is as above-mentioned, in the
Next, the positional relationship between the
Therefore, in the case of the reader /

(C) The mutual positional relationship between the two
In the fifth embodiment described above, two reader / writer antennas 21 (in other words, two sets) are provided on the
In the fifth embodiment, the reader /
In the fifth embodiment described above, reader /
The first to fifth embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail above. However, the present invention is not limited to these embodiments, and is based on the spirit of the invention described in the claims. Various changes and modifications are possible.
For example, in the first to fifth embodiments described above, the three
Further, in the first to third embodiments described above, a large number of
In the first to fifth embodiments described above, a large number of
In the first to fifth embodiments described above, the substantially loop-shaped
In the first to fifth embodiments described above, the apex angle portion of the substantially triangular mountain-shaped
In the first to fifth embodiments described above, the
Further, in the first to fifth embodiments described above,
In the first to fifth embodiments described above, the
