本発明のピストンヘッド及びヘッド部材は次のような効果がある。
(1)幅の狭い頂部同士が突合わされて拡散接合されているため接合強度が向上し、ピストン本体に溶接する前は勿論、溶接後の後加工によって分離することがない。
(2)頂部が平面状であるため突合わせ時の位置合わせが容易且つ確実になる。
(3)接合突部が裾広がりであるため拡散接合時に加圧されても接合突部は変形しにくい。
