Description

The present invention relates to a weedproof paving method and a weedproof structure that prevent weeds from growing.

A herbicidal sheet that suppresses weeds and overgrowth is known.
Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 9-74905 discloses a weedproof structure in which a civil engineering sheet is laid on a weedproof sheet and crushed stone is laid on the ground.
This is because when a crushed stone is laid directly on a weedproof sheet, the weedproof sheet is likely to be damaged, and weeds will eventually grow. Therefore, the weedproof sheet is protected by a civil engineering sheet.
However, civil engineering sheets are generally expensive, and are inferior in elasticity and shock-absorbing properties, so that there is a problem that weeds grow over time due to damage to the pavement surface due to the impact of people and cars passing through.

An object of the present invention is to provide a weedproof pavement method and a weedproof structure that have a herbicidal effect over a long period of time because the impact caused by traffic can be reduced, and can be constructed at low cost.

The grass protection structure according to the present invention includes a grass barrier sheet having water-impervious property on a leveling surface, and a bark chip and / or a cushion bar for mitigating the impact on the grass protection sheet due to traffic on the grass barrier sheet. It has an organic chip material layer made of wood chips , and a stone layer having a volume ratio of 5% or less by volume of sand laid by mixing crushed stone and granite alone or mixed on the organic chip material layer. It is characterized by having.
Further, the pavement method having excellent herbicidal properties according to the present invention removes pests and existing seeds by spraying a burner flame on the surface of the leveling surface, and then lays a herbicidal sheet having water barrier properties, It is characterized by laying bark and wood chips on a grass sheet, and laying crushed stones and granite alone or mixed on the bark and wood chip layers.

Here, the purpose of spraying the burner flame on the surface of the leveling ground is to remove the seeds of pests and weeds that inhabit the leveling ground, and is commonly used in asphalt pavement etc. A burner can be used.

As the weedproof sheet, a water-proof sheet that has been widely used conventionally can be used, and in general, there are many non-woven sheets.

A feature of the present invention is that an organic inexpensive chip material such as bark chip or wood chip is laid on the herbicidal sheet in a thickness of about 1 to 2 cm.
Since bark chips and wood chips are easy to lay and have high cushioning properties, they absorb the impact that occurs when people pass on the pavement or when a car passes, and prevent damage to the weed protection sheet over a long period of time.
Bark chips are chips made from finely crushed bark, and wood chips are chips made from finely crushed waste and thinned wood.
Bark chips and wood chips may be used alone or in combination.
In addition, when laying these chip materials, rolling compaction may be performed as necessary.

Crushed stone laid on the chip material layer and granite generally called washed gravel are selected and used depending on the pavement application, but in order to effectively prevent weeds from growing by flying seeds, the proportion of sand should be reduced. The volume is preferably suppressed to 5% or less, and the stone layer is preferably a combination of granule stones having a size of about 4 cm or less and crushed stone of about 10 cm or less.

In the present invention, the surface of the ground surface is first baked with a burner flame so that there are no seeds of pests and weeds under the herbicidal sheet. Can prevent the herbicidal sheet from being damaged, so that the herbicidal effect can be maintained over a long period of time.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG.
First, cut grass on the surface as necessary and level the ground appropriately.
A burner flame is sprayed on the leveling ground 1 to burn down pests and seeds.
Next, a weedproof sheet 2 such as a non-woven sheet is laid.
Next, a bark chip obtained by finely pulverizing the bark or a wood chip obtained by finely pulverizing the waste material or the like is mixed as appropriate and laid uniformly at a thickness of about 1 to 2 cm.
Next, a stone material 4 such as crushed stone or granulated stone is laid on the chip material layer 3 to a required thickness.
In order to suppress the growth of flying seeds, it is preferable that the amount of sand is small, and the amount of sand in the stone layer is preferably 5% or less.
The crushed stone and the granulated stone are preferably laid at a ratio of approximately 1: 1. In that case, the size of the granulated stone is preferably 4 cm or less, and the size of the crushed stone is desirably 10 cm or less.
In addition, FIG. 1 is drawn typically for the sake of clarity, the weedproof sheet is shown thick, and the stone layer is shown thin.
The chip material layer has a thickness of 1 cm to 2 cm, and the stone layer has a thickness of about 3 cm to 30 cm.
