Claims (7)
- ビデオフレームのピクセルを表すデータを処理する方法であって、
前記ピクセルは前景領域又は背景領域のどちらかに属すとして事前に分類され、
(a)再分類のための候補であるとして1つ以上の前景ピクセルを特定するステップと、
(b)前記候補ピクセルの色成分値と、対応する基準ピクセルの色成分値とに基づいて、各候補ピクセルに対する数値パラメータを計算するステップと、
(c)候補ピクセルごとに、前記候補ピクセルに対する数値パラメータを第1の範囲の値と比較し、前記数値パラメータが前記第1の範囲内に入る場合には背景ピクセルとして前記候補ピクセルを再分類するステップと、
(d)候補ピクセルごとに、前記候補ピクセルに対する数値パラメータを、前記第1の範囲内にある第2の範囲の値と比較し、前記数値パラメータが前記第2の範囲内に入る場合に背景ピクセルとして前記候補ピクセルを再分類するステップと、
(e)前記ステップ(c)及び(d)のそれぞれで再分類された各ピクセルを含む更新された画像データの第1の集合及び第2の集合を提供するステップと、
(f)近接する前景ピクセルのクラスタを含む領域を、更新された画像データの前記第2の集合から特定するステップと、
(g)前記ステップ(f)で特定された領域内にそれぞれ位置する複数の前景ピクセルを、更新された画像データの前記第1の集合から特定し、その後、前記複数の前景ピクセルを共通の被写体を表すものとして分類するステップと、
を備え、
前記基準ピクセルは、基準フレームの一部を構成するピクセルであり、
前記基準フレーム内の基準ピクセルの位置は、前記候補ピクセルの前記フレーム内の位置に対応する、方法。 - 前記ステップ(a)が、前記対応する基準ピクセル又はそれぞれの対応する基準ピクセルの輝度(Yb)と異なる輝度(Yf)を有する1つ以上の前景ピクセルを特定するステップを備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ステップ(b)において計算された前記数値パラメータは、第1のパラメータであって、
前記候補ピクセルの色成分値と、前記対応する基準ピクセルの色成分値とに基づいて、前記候補ピクセルに対する第2のパラメータであって、前記第1のパラメータと異なる前記第2のパラメータを計算するステップと、
候補ピクセルごとに、第2の範囲の値と、前記候補ピクセルに対する前記第2のパラメータとを比較し、前記第2のパラメータが前記第2の範囲内に入る場合には背景ピクセルとして前記候補ピクセルを再分類するステップと、
を更に含む、請求項3又は請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記ステップ(f)で特定された前記領域は、前記クラスタの各ピクセルを含むために十分な大きさの矩形ピクセルアレイを備える、請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
