上方に開口した一対の切欠部を有する粉砕機フレームと、
この粉砕機フレームの前記切欠部間に架設されるように上方から落とし込まれる枝葉木引込用の引込ローラと、
一端側に引込ローラが軸支され、他端側が回動自在に粉砕機フレームに支持される支持部材と、
前記切欠部に位置する前記引込ローラおよび前記支持部材を上方から覆い、かつ前記支持部材の他端側と対向する側で前記粉砕機フレームに開閉自在に支持されるカバーと、
基端側が前記支持部材の一端側に回動自在に取り付けられ、かつ先端側が前記カバーの開閉に伴って当該カバーの裏面に設けられた突出片に係脱するロッドと、
ロッドに挿通され、かつ前記突出片に係合された状態の当該ロッドの基端側と前記突出片との間で圧縮されるばねとを備え、
前記ロッドは、前記カバーの開き動作中に前記突出片との係合が外れるとともに、閉め動作中に係合し、
前記引込ローラは、前記カバーが開放された状態において、前記支持部材の一方側への回動動作により前記粉砕機フレームの切欠部から外れて持ち上げられるとともに、他方側への回動操作により前記切欠部間に落とし込まれる
