【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、商品陳列部の前面を覆う透明な前壁を備えたショーケースに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種のショーケースは、ショーケースの背面から販売員が商品を取り出して商品の販売を行う対面販売方式を採用したショーケースであり、基台の上面に商品陳列部を設け、斜め前下方へ傾斜した透明の前壁と、後壁と、左右側壁と、前壁と後壁とに渡る上壁とを有して陳列部を覆うように陳列室カバー部が設けられる。

しかし、上述の如きショーケースにおける販売形態は、対面販売方式のみであるため、販売員が行う対面販売に加えて、顧客自らが商品を手にとって商品を選択したり、また混雑する時間帯において販売を円滑に行うようにするために顧客自らに商品を取り出してもらう、所謂、セルフ販売方式を行うことはできないという問題があった。

そこで、セルフ販売方式の特徴を対面販売方式のショーケースに取り入れた従来のショーケースとして、商品陳列室の透明な前面ガラスの一部を着脱方式にしたものや、左右方向への引き戸扉方式にする等の改造を行ったものを採用し、商品を前面から取り出すことのできるセルフ販売方式を可能としていた。

また、セルフ販売方式及び対面販売方式の両販売形式を可能とする他のショーケースとして、前壁を上端を支点として上方に回動させて開放し、その状態を保持したままでセルフ販売を行うものや、上壁と一体に形成された前壁をショーケース後部上端を支点として上方に回動させて開放し、その状態を保持したままでセルフ販売を行うものがあった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、商品陳列室の透明な前面ガラスの一部を着脱方式としたショーケースでは、前面ガラスを取り外した状態で使用した場合に、前面ガラスの保管場所を格別に確保しなければ成らないという問題がある。また、前壁を左右方向への引き戸扉方式としたショーケースでは、前壁全面を開放することができず使用性が悪いという問題があった。

これに対し、前壁又は上壁と一体に形成された前壁を上方に回動させて、前壁の開放を行うショーケースでは、開放された状態の前壁がショーケース上方に位置しているため、前壁が顧客や販売員などの邪魔となるという問題があった。また、係る構成では美観を損ねることとなり、意匠的効果が劣り、好ましくないという問題があった。

そこで、本発明は従来の技術的課題を解決するために成されたものであり、対面販売に加えて、所謂セルフ販売を可能とするショーケースであって、セルフ販売方式を採用した場合に前壁が顧客や販売員などの邪魔となることなく、意匠的効果を向上させるショーケースを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、商品陳列部の前面を覆う透明な前壁を備えたショーケースであって、前壁を回動且つ前後方向移動自在に保持する保持装置を設け、該保持装置は、商品陳列部内に水平に設けられたレール部材と、該レール部材に摺動自在に保持された支持部材とを備え、該支持部材は、前壁を回動自在に支持するためのヒンジ部材と、一端が該ヒンジ部材に取り付けられた第１ステーと、一端が該第１ステーの他端に回動自在に連結され、他端が前壁に回動自在に取り付けられた第２ステーとを有し、保持装置により、前壁は、商品陳列部の前面を覆った起立状態と、該起立状態から回動して水平となる水平状態と、該水平状態を維持したまま商品陳列部内に押し込まれた格納状態とに保持されると共に、前壁の起立状態では両ステーは折り畳まれ、水平状態では両ステーが直線的に連続してロックされた状態となることを特徴とする。

本発明によれば、商品陳列部の前面を覆う透明な前壁を備えたショーケースにおいて、前壁を回動且つ前後方向移動自在に保持する保持装置を設け、該保持装置により、前壁は、商品陳列部の前面を覆った起立状態と、該起立状態から回動して水平となる水平状態と、該水平状態を維持したまま商品陳列部内に押し込まれた格納状態とに保持されるので、前壁を起立状態とした場合には、商品陳列部の前面を透視可能に覆うことができるようになる。また、前壁を格納状態とした場合には、前壁が顧客や販売員などの邪魔になること無く顧客が自ら商品を取り出すことが可能となる所謂セルフ販売を行うことができるようになる。特に、保持装置は、商品陳列部内に水平に設けられたレール部材と、該レール部材に摺動自在に保持された支持部材とを備え、該支持部材は、前壁を回動自在に支持するためのヒンジ部材と、一端が該ヒンジ部材に取り付けられた第１ステーと、一端が該第１ステーの他端に回動自在に連結され、他端が前壁に回動自在に取り付けられた第２ステーとを有し、前壁の起立状態では両ステーは折り畳まれ、水平状態では両ステーが直線的に連続してロックされた状態となるので、前壁の起立状態から水平状態又は水平状態から起立状態への移行や、前壁の水平状態から格納状態又は格納状態から水平状態への移行を円滑に行うことができるようになる。

請求項２の発明のショーケースは、請求項１の発明に加えて、商品陳列部の後面を開閉自在に閉塞する扉を備えたことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、本発明の実施の形態について説明する。図１は本発明を適用した冷蔵ショーケース１の縦断側面図を示している。冷蔵ショーケース１は、ケーキ類、総菜、ハム類などの冷蔵食品を貯蔵する冷蔵ショーケースであり、本発明が対象とするショーケースの一種類である。図１において２は、冷蔵ショーケース１の基台を構成する部分であり、係る基台２の下部には、冷却装置を構成する図示しない圧縮機、凝縮器、送風機などを収納する機械室４が形成されている。

そして、この基台２の上面には、商品を陳列するための商品陳列部が構成されている。この商品陳列部３内には、略水平状態に設置した棚板５が架設されており、この棚板５上には、商品が陳列される。そして、棚板５の下面と基台２との間には、冷却室７が形成される。

この冷却室７は、前記冷却装置と共に所謂冷凍サイクルを構成する図示しない冷却器と冷気循環用送風機が設置される。これにより、冷却器で冷却された冷気は、冷気循環用送風機にて吹出口１０から商品陳列部３へ循環された後、吸込口１１へ流入し、冷却室７内に帰還する。そのため、商品陳列部３内は所定の温度にまで冷却され、商品陳列部３内に陳列された商品を冷却することができる。

一方、前記基台２の上方には、商品陳列部３を上方から覆う陳列室カバー部１２が設けられている。この陳列室カバー部１２は、斜め前下方へ傾斜し、商品陳列部３の前面を覆う透明の前壁１３と、商品陳列部３の後面を開閉自在に閉塞する後面扉１４と、透明の左右側壁１５、１５と、前壁１３の上方において、当該前壁１３に連続するように設けられ、商品陳列部３の上部を覆う透明な上部壁１６とにより構成されている。尚、前壁１３及び上部壁１６は、透視可能とする強化ガラス又は強化プラスチック等で成形されているものとする。

前壁１３は、詳細は後述する支柱部材１７に対してヒンジ機構１８にて開閉可能とされると共に、同じく詳細は後述する保持装置２０にて移動可能に支持されている。また、後面扉１４は、左右方向へ引き違いに開閉可能とする複数の透明なカバー構成とされている。そのため、冷蔵ショーケース１の前後左右及び上方から商品陳列部３内に陳列された商品を視認することができ、陳列効果を向上させることができる。

前記支柱部材１７は、前壁１３の左右側端に沿って左右側壁１５前端にそれぞれ設けられるものであり、この支柱部材１７の上端は、後方に向けて所定角度、即ち、折曲された支柱部材１７端部を水平とする角度で折曲され、水平部１７Ａが形成されている。

ここで、前記保持装置２０の構成について図２乃至図３を参照して説明する。図２は冷蔵ショーケース１の部分拡大正面図、図３は保持装置２０及び前壁１３の縦断側面図を示している。保持装置２０は、前壁１３の左右側端にそれぞれ設けられるものであり、それぞれレール部材２１と、支持部材２２と、ヒンジ部材２３と、第１ステー２４と、第２ステー２５とから構成される。

レール部材２１は、商品陳列部３内、即ち、左右側壁１５にそれぞれ設けられた支柱部材１７の水平部１７Ａの内面に沿って前後に延出して水平に設けられている。このレール部材２１の上端及び下端には、それぞれ支持部材２２に形成される摺動面と円滑に摺動可能とするレール２１Ａが形成されている。

また、このレール部材２１の前側には、前壁１３が商品陳列部３の前面を覆った状態、即ち、起立状態において、前壁１３内面上部に当接する位置にローラ２６が取り付けられている。

支持部材２２は、前記レール部材２１のレール２１Ａに合致して摺動可能とする摺動部２２Ａを形成した本体２２Ｂと、前記支柱部材１７の前部と略平行に形成される保持部２２Ｃを一体に形成した板状部材により構成される。この支持部材２２の本体２２Ｂの前端上部には、前記ヒンジ機構１８が固定されている。

また、支持部材２２の保持部２２Ｃには、前壁１３を回動自在に支持するヒンジ部材２３が設けられている。このヒンジ部材２３は、回動緩衝機能を有しているものであり、急激に回動することを抑制するものとする。

そして、このヒンジ部材２３には、上方に回動自在とする第１ステー２４の一端が取り付けられている。この第１ステー２４の他端には、第２ステー２５の一端が回動自在に連結されており、第２ステー２５の他端は、更に前壁１３に回動自在に取り付けられている。尚、この第１ステー２４と第２ステー２５の連結部は、回動されることにより直線的に連結された状態でロックするロック機構を備えているものである。また、このロック機構は、斜め上前方から力が加えられることにより、解除されるものとする。

以上の構成により、本発明の冷蔵ショーケース１の使用形態及び前壁１３の開閉動作について図３乃至図８を参照して説明する。図３は前壁１３が起立状態の保持装置２０及び前壁１３の縦断側面図、図４は前壁１３が起立状態から水平状態に移行する段階の保持装置２０及び前壁１３の縦断側面図、図５は前壁１３が水平状態の保持装置２０及び前壁１３の縦断側面図、図６は図５の状態の冷蔵ショーケース１の縦断側面図、図７は前壁１３が格納状態の保持装置２０及び前壁１３の縦断側面図、図８は図７の状態の冷蔵ショーケース１の縦断側面図を示している。

先ず、起立状態の前壁１３について説明する。前壁１３が起立状態、即ち、前壁１３が商品陳列部３の前面を覆った状態では、保持装置２０の第１ステー２４及び第２ステー２５は、所定角度で折り畳まれた状態となり、前壁１３が保持装置２０により商品陳列部３の前面に斜め前下方へ傾斜して安定して保持される。尚、この場合において、前壁１３は、ローラ２６及びヒンジ機構１８によっても保持されている。

この前壁１３を起立状態とした場合には、前壁１３は商品陳列部３を透視可能に覆うことができるようになり、顧客は、前壁１３越しに商品陳列部３に陳列された商品を選択することができる。そして、冷蔵ショーケース１の背面に待機している販売員が後面扉１４を開閉することにより商品を取り出して顧客に渡す、所謂対面販売方式で接客を行うことが可能となる。

一方、混雑する時間帯において販売を円滑に行うようになるため、顧客自らに商品を取り出してもらう、所謂、セルフ販売方式を行う場合には、前壁１３を開放する。前壁１３を開放する場合には、前壁１３内面上部が当接する前記ローラ２６を支点として図４に示す如く前壁１３の前端を手前上方に回動させる。このとき、保持装置２０の第１ステー２４は、ヒンジ部材２３を支点として徐々に上方に回動し、第１ステー２４と第２ステー２５との間が徐々に拡開されていく。

更に、前壁１３の前端を上方に回動させることにより、図５に示す如く保持装置２０の第１ステー２４と第２ステー２５の連結が直線的となり、ロックされる。これにより、前壁１３は、保持装置２０の第１ステー２４及び第２ステー２５とヒンジ機構１８により水平状態に保持される。

そして、水平状態となった前壁１３を後方に押し込むことにより、前壁１３は支持部材２２の摺動面がレール部材２１のレール２１Ａを前方から後方に摺動し、図７に示す如く前壁１３は水平状態を維持したまま商品陳列部３内に格納した格納状態で保持することができる。

尚、このとき、レール部材２１の前側には、上述の如くローラ２６が設けられているため、前壁１３がローラ２６により確実に水平状態とされてから、前壁１３を後方に押し込むことができるようになり、前壁が１３が斜めの状態のまま後方に押し込まれることによる破損を未然に防止することができるようになる。

これにより、前壁１３を開放し、商品陳列部３の前面を開放したセルフ販売方式により販売を行う場合であっても、前壁１３が商品陳列部３内に格納されているため、顧客や販売員の邪魔となること無く、顧客は自ら商品を取り出すことが可能となる。また、前壁１３は、商品陳列部３内に格納されるため、意匠的効果を向上させることができるようになる。

また、商品陳列部３内に格納された格納状態の前壁１３は、前記上部壁１６で覆われる商品陳列部３内の上部領域の下部に位置して水平状態とされているため、格納状態の前壁１３を商品陳列部３内の上部領域内に陳列する商品の棚として使用することができるようになる。

この場合、後面扉１４から格納状態の前壁１３上に商品や、商品に関するサンプルなどを載置可能となり、より一層の販売促進に寄与できるものとなる。

一方、冷蔵ショーケース１の販売形式をセルフ販売方式から対面販売方式に移行する場合には、保持部材２２をレール部材２１を前方に摺動させることにより、格納状態の前壁１３を前方に水平状態のまま引き出し、水平状態の前壁１３の上方から少許力を加えることにより、保持装置２０の第１ステー２４と第２ステー２５のロックを解除させる。そして、第１ステー２４をヒンジ部材２３により下方に回動させることにより、前壁１３を起立状態とすることができる。

このとき、ヒンジ部材２３は、上述の如く回動緩衝機能を備えているため、前壁１３が急激に落下することを防止することができ、前壁１３などの破損やケガなどの発生を未然に回避することができる。

また、前壁１３の開閉動作は、上述の如き保持装置２０にて行うため、前壁１３の起立状態から水平状態又は水平状態から起立状態への移行や、水平状態から格納状態又は格納状態から水平状態への移行を円滑に行うことができるようになる。

一方、前記上部壁１６は、図９乃至図１１に示す如く上部壁１６の後端を支点として上方に回動自在に設けられていても良いものとする。係る冷蔵ショーケースでは、前壁１３が格納状態である場合、該上部壁１６を上方に回動させ、開放することによって、格納状態の前壁１３上に商品等を載置することができるようになる。また、この上部壁１６を開放させた状態で、商品陳列部３の上部領域のセルフ販売を実現することができる。

また、係る冷蔵ショーケース１において、商品陳列部３の上部領域の下部であって、前記支柱部材１７の水平部１７Ａよりも上方には、棚部材３０が架設されていても良い。この場合、前壁１３は、図１１に示す如く格納状態において棚部材３０の棚下に格納することができるものとする。そのため、前壁１３の開閉に支障を来すことなく前壁１３を棚部材３０の棚下に格納することができるようになり、冷蔵ショーケース１の外観も向上される。

【発明の効果】
以上詳述した如く本発明によれば、商品陳列部の前面を覆う透明な前壁を備えたショーケースにおいて、前壁を回動且つ前後方向移動自在に保持する保持装置を設け、該保持装置により、前壁は、商品陳列部の前面を覆った起立状態と、該起立状態から回動して水平となる水平状態と、該水平状態を維持したまま商品陳列部内に押し込まれた格納状態とに保持されるので、前壁を起立状態とした場合には、商品陳列部の前面を透視可能に覆うことができるようになる。また、前壁を格納状態とした場合には、前壁が顧客や販売員などの邪魔になること無く顧客が自ら商品を取り出すことが可能となる所謂セルフ販売を行うことができるようになる。特に、保持装置は、商品陳列部内に水平に設けられたレール部材と、該レール部材に摺動自在に保持された支持部材とを備え、該支持部材は、前壁を回動自在に支持するためのヒンジ部材と、一端が該ヒンジ部材に取り付けられた第１ステーと、一端が該第１ステーの他端に回動自在に連結され、他端が前壁に回動自在に取り付けられた第２ステーとを有し、前壁の起立状態では両ステーは折り畳まれ、水平状態では両ステーが直線的に連続してロックされた状態となるので、前壁の起立状態から水平状態又は水平状態から起立状態への移行や、前壁の水平状態から格納状態又は格納状態から水平状態への移行を円滑に行うことができるようになる。
