As the hair insertion tool, a hair insertion tool consisting of a low density polyethylene (LDPE) sheet (1 mm thick) and a Taber stiffness of 17.2 mNm was used.
The hair inserter was inserted into the hair holder and the insertability was evaluated. The evaluation criteria for insertability are shown below.

[Comparative Example 1]
As the hair inserter, a hair inserter comprising a polyethylene film (250 μm thick) and having a Taber stiffness of 1.5 mNm was used.
As the hair holder, the hair holder in the above example was used, and the insertability was evaluated in the same manner as in the above example.

[Comparative Example 2]
As the hair insertion tool, a hair insertion tool made of nylon thread (φ1 mm) and having a Taber stiffness of 1.6 mNm was used. Taber stiffness is a converted value.
As the hair holder, the hair holder in the above example was used, and the insertability was evaluated in the same manner as in the above example.

  As is clear from the evaluation results shown in [Table 1], when the stiffness factor (rigidity of the hair inserter / rigidity of the hair retainer) is small, smooth insertability cannot be obtained, and when the stiffness factor is large. Smooth insertion is obtained.
