Claims (6)
- 空気の超音速流をパイロット空気部分(66)と主空気部分(84)とに分割するのに有効な吸気口(16)と、主アイソレータ(14)と、主燃焼器(18)とを順にかつ流体連通状態で有するスクラムジェットエンジン用の中央本体パイロットポッド(42)であって、
前記吸気口(16)とパイロットディフューザ(52)との間に配置された、前記超音速流の体積比3%〜10%である前記パイロット空気部分(66)を受け取り、かつ前記パイロット空気部分(66)を亜音速に減速するのに有効なパイロットアイソレータ(50)と、
前記パイロットアイソレータ(50)とパイロットフレームホルダ(54)との間に配置された前記パイロットディフューザ(52)と、
前記パイロットディフューザ(52)とパイロット燃焼器(56)との間に配置された前記パイロットフレームホルダ(54)と、を備え、
前記パイロット燃焼器(56)からの排気(80)が前記主燃焼器(18)中心に限定され、かつ前記主空気部分(84)が前記中央本体パイロットポッド(42)の周りを進むように、前記中央本体パイロットポッド(42)は、前記主アイソレータ(14)の中心軸(12)に沿って軸対称に配置され、前記主アイソレータ(14)の内壁(92)から前記中央本体パイロットポッド(42)の外面に向かって延びる複数の支柱(44)によって支持されており、
前記複数の支柱(44)は、前記パイロットアイソレータ(50)と、前記パイロットフレームホルダ(54)とに燃料(19)を送出するのに有効であるパイロット燃料噴射器(76)を含む、中央本体パイロットポッド(42)。 - 主燃料噴射器(78)が、前記主アイソレータ(14)の前記内壁(92)上と、前記パイロットポッド(42)の外面上とに位置する、請求項1に記載の中央本体パイロットポッド(42)。
- 前記複数の支柱(44)と前記パイロットポッド(42)との組み合わせが、前記主アイソレータ(14)の断面積の20%未満である、請求項1に記載の中央本体パイロットポッド(42)。
- 前記パイロット燃焼器(56)に固定されたノズル(82)が、前記パイロット燃焼器(56)から前記主燃焼器(18)へ排気(80)を送出するのに有効である、請求項2に記載の中央本体パイロットポッド(42)。
- 前記主アイソレータ(14)の前記内壁(92)上に位置する主燃料噴射器(78e、78f)は、残りの前記主燃料噴射器(78a、78b、78c、78d)がフロー提供位置にある間、非フロー位置にある、請求項4に記載の中央本体パイロットポッド(42)。
- 前記支柱(44)の基部にそって主燃料噴射器(78d)をさらに含む、請求項5に記載の中央本体パイロットポッド(42)。
