Description
ここでパイロット端数方法と呼ぶ品質計量を行うための第1の例示的な実施形態が図3のフローチャートで示されている。第1の例示的な実施形態では、品質測定はパス22で提供される信号の品質を測定する文脈で説明される。最終的な電力制御フィードバックを提供するため、前述の式(1)にしたがって結合されるパス20、24で受信された信号の信号対雑音比を推定するために類似の動作が行われる。
パイロットEcは基地局12により送信された“チップ”のエネルギであり、ここでチップの継続期間は拡散レートに反比例し、Iorは基地局12により送信される受信帯域の帯域幅により正規化された信号の総エネルギである。したがってパイロット端数は1ではない。
本発明の第2の実施形態では、移動体局18にはパイロット端数が提供されておらず、むしろ受信されたパイロット信号のエネルギ変化のエネルギに基づいて情報をコンパイルすることによって干渉のない雑音(Nt(f))を推定する。
ここでRs は送信された信号のシンボルレートであり、Rb は送信された信号のビットレートである。移動体局18が送信された信号のビットレート(Rb )のアプリオリを知らないので、この計算は可変レート通信システムに付加的な複雑性を提供する。
Claims (14)
- CDMA通信システムの閉ループ電力制御システムにおける電力制御コマンドを発生させる装置において、
インバンドエネルギ値を測定する手段と、
干渉のないエネルギ値を計算する手段と、
前記インバンドエネルギ値から前記干渉のないエネルギ値を減算して干渉雑音値を提供する手段と、
受信された信号のビットエネルギを測定する手段と、
前記干渉雑音値と前記ビットエネルギとにしたがって信号対雑音比を計算する手段と
を具備している装置。 - 前記信号対雑音比を予め定められたしきい値と比較する手段をさらに具備している、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記干渉のないエネルギ値を計算する手段が、
パイロットチャネルエネルギを測定する手段と、
パイロット端数値にしたがって前記パイロットチャネルエネルギをスケーリングして前記干渉のないエネルギ値を提供する手段と
を備えている、請求項1記載の装置。 - 遠隔通信装置から前記パイロット端数値を受信する手段をさらに具備している、請求項3記載の装置。
- 前記ビットエネルギを測定する手段が、
シンボルエネルギ値を測定する手段と、
データレート値にしたがって前記シンボルエネルギ値をスケーリングする手段と
を備えている、請求項1記載の装置。 - 前記ビットエネルギを測定する手段が、前記データレート値を決定する手段を備えている、請求項5記載の装置。
- 前記ビットエネルギを測定する手段が、遠隔通信装置から前記データレート値を受信する手段を備えている、請求項5記載の装置。
- CDMA通信システムの閉ループ電力制御システムにおける電力制御コマンドを発生させる方法において、
インバンドエネルギ値を測定するステップと、
干渉のないエネルギ値を計算するステップと、
前記インバンドエネルギ値から前記干渉のないエネルギ値を減算して干渉雑音値を提供するステップと、
受信された信号のビットエネルギを測定するステップと、
前記干渉雑音値と前記ビットエネルギとにしたがって信号対雑音比を計算するステップとを含んでいる方法。 - 前記信号対雑音比を予め定められたしきい値と比較するステップをさらに含んでいる、請求項8記載の方法。
- 前記干渉のないエネルギ値を計算するステップが、
パイロットチャネルエネルギを測定するステップと、
パイロット端数値にしたがって前記パイロットチャネルエネルギをスケーリングして前記干渉のないエネルギ値を提供するステップと
を有している、請求項8記載の方法。 - 遠隔通信装置から前記パイロット端数値を受信するステップをさらに含んでいる、請求項10記載の方法。
- 前記ビットエネルギを測定するステップが、
シンボルエネルギ値を測定するステップと、
データレート値にしたがって前記シンボルエネルギ値をスケーリングするステップと
を有している、請求項8記載の方法。 - 前記ビットエネルギを測定するステップが、前記データレート値を決定するステップを有している、請求項12記載の方法。
