Description

The present invention relates to a multi-chamber container capable of discharging the contents to the outside of the container with almost no contents remaining in the container, and a contents discharging method using the multi-chamber container.

In the medical field, when a high-calorie infusion is administered to a patient, a mixture of drugs such as vitamins, amino acids, antibiotics, etc. is usually administered according to the patient's condition. In addition, there are many cases where a plurality of drugs of various types are co-injected due to the demand for tailor-made medical care for each patient. Here, from the viewpoint of the burden on doctors and nurses, waste, and the possibility of contamination during operation, it is desirable that these drugs are preliminarily mixed into one mixed solution. There are many combinations to do.

In view of such circumstances, for example, Patent Document 1: JP-A-11-169594, Patent Document 2: JP-A 2002-248158, Patent Document 3: JP-A 2003-159310, and Patent Document 4: JP-A 2004. In -81276 publication, a plurality of drugs are isolated and stored by a blocking means such as a movable partition wall having a shape or a peelable weak seal provided in a part of a flexible container. A medical multi-chamber container has been proposed in which a plurality of drugs can be mixed in a sealed environment and administered to a patient as they are by losing the function.

Here, when (1) the medicine filled in the flexible container is mixed and (2) discharged from the container, (1) the relative amount of the content liquid is significantly larger than the capacity when the storage chamber is full. In the case of being small, there is a problem that even if the storage chamber is pressed for mixing, the content liquid escapes, and it takes time to destroy the weak seal portion or it cannot be destroyed. In particular, the above phenomenon is likely to occur when the absolute amount of the initially stored content liquid is small. In addition, (2) the content liquid may remain in the flexible container, particularly in the vicinity of the seal portion, even after the content liquid is discharged. This is because the content liquid is held between the wall surfaces of the flexible container due to surface tension and capillary action (hereinafter simply referred to as “surface tension”), and the discharge of the medicine out of the container is hindered. However, the remaining amount is not negligible especially when the volume of the initially stored content liquid is small. Furthermore, if the flexible container is provided with a spout member, the content liquid is easily held in the gap between the wall surfaces near the spout member, and the remaining amount is increased. For example, if a predetermined amount of drug is not discharged from the container when a plurality of drugs are administered, there is a possibility that a serious inconvenience that the plurality of drugs cannot be administered to the patient at a predetermined mixing ratio may occur.
Therefore, even when the volume of the content liquid is significantly smaller than the capacity of the storage room when it is full, the multi-chamber container that can be easily communicated, and the possibility of the content liquid remaining in the container as much as possible Development of a multi-chamber container that has been reduced to a low level, and in turn, development of a container that can administer a plurality of drugs to a patient at an accurate predetermined mixing ratio, even when storing a plurality of drugs in small quantities, is desired. It was.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and provides a multi-chamber container that can be easily communicated and that allows the contents to be discharged to the outside of the container without remaining in the container, or a method for discharging the contents. The purpose is to do.

The present invention, in order to achieve the above object, a weak seal portion that isolates to interrupt the communication between the multiple chambers, and the contents storage chamber housing the at least one of Ru liquid der two or more contents , provided at the farthest position from the discharge portion to be accommodating the auxiliary air to aid the discharge when the contents to aid the destruction of the weak seal portion is discharged to the mixed the container outside the scheduled portion out discharge is an auxiliary air storage chamber having a flexible were, a double-chamber container provided with the, from breakable in the auxiliary air storage chamber with a small physical force never all said weak seal portion is to destroy vessels Provided is a multi-chamber container formed in a direction perpendicular to the pressure direction of auxiliary air .

That is, the multi-chamber container of the present invention has a content storage chamber for storing contents, and an auxiliary air storage that communicates with the content storage chamber and stores auxiliary air for assisting discharge when the contents are discharged to the outside of the container. It is a multi-chamber container comprising a chamber, a weak seal portion that isolates the content storage chamber and the auxiliary air storage chamber by blocking communication, and preferably a spout member. Since the contents storage chamber and the auxiliary air storage chamber can be communicated with each other by destroying the weak seal portion, the weak seal portion that separates the contents from each other can be destroyed by the auxiliary air. For example, when the content liquid as the contents is discharged from the multi-chamber container at the time of use through the spout member, it is possible to introduce auxiliary air from the auxiliary air storage chamber to the content storage chamber along with the discharge. .
By adopting such a configuration, it becomes possible to alleviate the shrinkage of the content storage chamber due to the content discharge by introducing auxiliary air, so that the content is almost discharged from the content storage chamber to the outside of the container. Even in such a state, the distance between the wall surfaces of the content storage chamber can be maintained at a certain width or more, so that the wall surface holds the content by surface tension and the content is discharged to the outside of the container. It is possible to prevent the discharge from being hindered.

Further, if the volume of the auxiliary air stored in the auxiliary air storage chamber is set equal to or larger than the volume of the content storage chamber having the largest volume, it is discharged to the outside of the container. Auxiliary air that is substantially equal to or larger than the volume of the content can be introduced into the content storage chamber, and the content can be discharged out of the container with almost no contraction of the content storage chamber. In addition, it is possible to more reliably prevent the problem that the discharge of the contents to the outside of the container is hindered by the surface tension. In this case, it is more preferable that the volume of the auxiliary air stored in the auxiliary air storage chamber is set to be equal to or larger than the total volume of all the content storage chambers.

In the present invention, the size of the multi-chamber container and the capacity of the contents are not particularly limited. However, by configuring the multi-chamber container of the present invention as described above, for example, the multi-chamber container was initially stored in the content storage chamber. Even when the volume of the liquid is relatively small, such as 50 ml or less, the contents mixed to become liquid can be reliably discharged out of the container. More specifically, when the introduction of auxiliary air into the content storage chamber due to the discharge of the content to the outside of the container is completed, the capacity of the content remaining in the container is initially stored in the content storage chamber. The liquid volume can be suppressed to 10% or less, preferably 8% or less, more preferably 6% or less.

The multi-chamber container of the present invention is particularly preferably and suitably used when it contains components that may deteriorate or denature when its contents come into contact with air (oxygen, etc.), such as vitamins, amino acids, antibiotics, and the like. Used.
That is, in the present invention, a separate auxiliary air storage chamber is provided to facilitate communication and to prevent the content storage chamber from contracting more than necessary when the content is discharged (the surface tension between the wall surfaces due to the contraction). This is intended to prevent the phenomenon that the discharge of the content is hindered by the appropriate width for holding the content by the storage, but stores a certain amount of gas coexisting with the content in the content storage chamber If this is possible, it is possible to suppress the expression of the surface tension as described above, and the same effect as the present invention can be expected. However, it is not preferable to store the contents in combination with oxygen or the like when there is a possibility that oxidation deterioration or alteration occurs when the contents come into contact with oxygen or the like. In this case, it is conceivable to store an inert gas (for example, nitrogen gas or argon gas) that is less likely to alter the contents in coexistence with the contents, but the manufacture of such a drug container is complicated. In addition, the manufacturing apparatus becomes large and the manufacturing cost may be inferior.

Here, in the present invention, even if the content contains a component that may be deteriorated or denatured when exposed to air (oxygen or the like), the coexistence with the content is intended to prevent the expression of the surface tension. Air may be used as the gas component (auxiliary air) provided to the air.
That is, when the multi-chamber container of the present invention is used, the auxiliary air comes into contact with the contents from the time when the weak seal portion is broken and the contents storage chamber communicates with the auxiliary air storage chamber. Until the end of the discharge, and is usually a relatively short time interval. When the contents are quickly discharged out of the container, the contents are not oxidized or deteriorated by the auxiliary air.

In the present invention, as the material of the multi-chamber container, a known material for forming a flexible container can be used. However, it is a material that does not impair the stability of the contents to be contained as much as possible, and the contents should be as much as possible. It is preferable that the material does not adsorb. Examples of such materials include polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, polyamides, polyacrylonitrile, cyclic polyolefin, polyvinyl alcohol, ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer, aluminum foil and other metal films, aluminum vapor deposition films, silica vapor deposition films, and the like. A composite film etc. are mentioned. The multi-chamber container of the present invention can be formed by using, for example, a single-layer sheet that is appropriately selected from these materials, or a laminated sheet that includes layers formed from these materials. In particular, when these sheets cannot obtain a sufficient sealing strength, a resin layer having a good sealing property such as polyethylene or polypropylene may be laminated.

As the auxiliary air storage chamber in the present invention, for example, the auxiliary air is quickly and easily introduced from the auxiliary air storage chamber to the content storage chamber as the contents are discharged to the outside of the container through the spout member. From the viewpoint of enabling the pressure, it can be easily applied by the stress applied from the outside of the container (for example, pressing by hand) or the stress applied from the inside of the container (for example, negative pressure generated in the container when the contents are discharged). It is preferable to have a deformable flexibility. Such flexibility can be selected, for example, by appropriately selecting the material of the wall surface forming the auxiliary air storage chamber, or by appropriately setting the thickness of the wall surface forming the auxiliary air storage chamber (setting the wall thickness thin). Etc. can be realized.

Moreover, about the softness | flexibility of the content storage chamber in this invention, it may have the same softness | flexibility as an auxiliary | assistant air storage chamber, and may not have a softness | flexibility at all and may not deform | transform. The auxiliary air in the present invention is mainly intended to assist the discharge of the mixed contents, but also assists in breaking the weak seal portion in order to mix the contents in the previous stage of discharge. In other words, using a relatively thick sheet and securing the volume, the auxiliary air storage chamber is deeply drawn to increase flexibility, and the content storage chamber for storing a small volume of content is drawn as it is or shallowly. Then, although flexibility does not become large, as long as auxiliary air can be pushed out, the communication operation of each chamber can be performed smoothly. Further, from the viewpoint of easily breaking the weak seal portion, if the content storage chamber for storing the liquid is also flexible, the content storage chamber is weak even when the amount of auxiliary air is small. This is preferable because it can contribute to the destruction of the seal portion.

Here, from the viewpoint of preventing alteration of the contents (deterioration such as moisture absorption and oxidation of the contents caused by intrusion of water vapor, oxygen, etc. from the outside of the container), it has a high barrier property as a wall surface forming the contents storage chamber. It is preferable to employ a wall surface. As a method for realizing a wall surface having a high barrier property, a material having a high barrier property such as a metal foil such as aluminum foil, an inorganic vapor deposition layer such as silica or aluminum, or a resin layer such as an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer layer is adopted. And a method of forming a wall surface.

In addition, in the case where the multi-chamber container of the present invention is formed by superimposing two sheets and sealing the peripheral portion and appropriately providing a weak seal portion, the sheet forming the wall surface of the auxiliary air storage chamber is vacuum formed. If deep drawing is performed by the method or pressure forming method, a large volume of auxiliary air storage chamber can be secured, air can be stored in the auxiliary air storage chamber, and physical force can be applied at the same time. It is suitable for.

The content discharge method of the present invention uses the above-described multi-chamber container of the present invention, breaks the weak seal portion and causes the content storage chamber and the auxiliary air storage chamber to communicate with each other. The storage chambers are sequentially contracted and deformed to break the weak seal portion, and the auxiliary air is sequentially introduced from the auxiliary air storage chamber to the content storage chamber, thereby connecting the chambers and mixing a plurality of contents. Then, the content discharge method is characterized in that the content is pushed out from the discharge planned portion to the outside of the container without mixing. In the content discharge method of the present invention, auxiliary air is sequentially introduced into the content storage chamber and the content is discharged to the outside of the container. There is little risk of being held between wall surfaces (discharging the contents outside the container is hindered).
As a method for shrinking and deforming the auxiliary air storage chamber, a method of applying stress to the auxiliary air storage chamber from the outside of the container (for example, pressing by hand) is simple and preferable. In particular, when the auxiliary air storage chamber can be shrunk and deformed by grasping with one hand, when injecting the mixture directly from the multi-chamber container of the present invention into another container, for example, an infusion bag, the injection is performed with an empty one hand. Since the infusion bag main body and the mixture injection part to be held can be gripped and fixed, it is convenient.

As described above, according to the present invention, even when a plurality of contents that deteriorate with time due to mixing are stored separately in a flexible container, each content can be stored separately, Provided are a multi-chamber container capable of being easily integrated without touching the outside air, and capable of discharging the contents to the outside of the container with almost no contents remaining in the container, and a method for discharging the contents.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a plan view of a multi-chamber container 1 showing an example of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an XX cross-sectional view of the multi-chamber container 1 shown in FIG. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the multi-chamber container 1 communicates with content storage chambers 21, 22, and 23 that store content liquids 21 </ b> C, 22 </ b> C, and 23 </ b> C, respectively, which are liquids. The communication between the auxiliary air storage chamber 3 storing auxiliary air 3C for assisting the discharge when the content liquid is discharged to the outside of the container, and the content storage chamber 23 and the auxiliary air storage chamber 3 is cut off. The weak seal portion 43 to be isolated and the discharge port lid 51 are fitted to close the discharge flow path, and when used, the discharge port portion can be released by releasing the fitting and discharging the content liquid to the outside of the container. 5. In this way, the multi-chamber container having the discharge port portion 5 has a gap between the wall surfaces in the vicinity of the discharge port 5 due to the thickness of the discharge port portion 5, so that when the liquid is discharged, the surface tension acts on this gap and the content liquid is It is easy to remain in large quantities. In the present invention, the discharge port lid 51 and the discharge port part 5 may be collectively referred to as a spout member.

Here, in the multi-chamber container 1, the content storage chambers 21, 22, 23 and the auxiliary air storage chamber 3 are formed in a line in order in a direction away from the discharge port portion 5. The content storage chamber 21 and the content storage chamber 22 are isolated by being blocked by a weak seal portion 41, and the content storage chamber 22 and the content storage chamber 23 are isolated by being blocked by a weak seal portion 42. Further, the shape of the content storage chamber 21 is formed so as to expand from the position of the discharge port portion 5 toward the weak seal portion 41 that is the boundary between the content storage chambers 21 and 22.
The multi-chamber container 1 is configured so that the content storage chambers 21, 22, 23 and the auxiliary air storage chamber 3 can communicate with each other in a sealed environment by breaking the weak seal portions 41, 42, 43. ing.
The content storage chambers 22 and 23 have content injection portions 221 and 231, respectively, which are sealed after the content liquids 22 </ b> C and 23 </ b> C are stored in the content storage chambers 22 and 23. About the content liquid 21C accommodated in the content storage chamber 21, after being accommodated in the content storage chamber 21 through the discharge port part 5, the discharge port part 5 is obstruct | occluded and sealed.

As a manufacturing method of such a multi-chamber container 1, first, two sheets 11 and 12 are prepared using a known method.
Secondly, the two sheets 11 and 12 are formed by vacuum forming or pressure forming to form concave portions at predetermined positions at three positions on each sheet. These recesses form the content storage chambers 22 and 23 and the auxiliary air storage chamber 3.
Thirdly, the container body is formed by overlapping the sheets 11 and 12 each having a recess so that the recesses face each other, and the container inner surface side front end portion (base) of the spout member including the discharge port 5 Is held at a predetermined position between the two sheets (a position where the discharge channel of the discharge port 5 can communicate with the contents storage chamber 21), and the peripheral edge of the sheet excluding the portions corresponding to the positions of the contents injection portions 221, 231 The strong seal portion 13 is formed by thermocompression bonding over the entire circumference.
Fourth, the sheets 11 and 12 are thermocompression bonded at a predetermined interval in a direction away from the discharge port portion 5, weak seal portions 41, 42, and 43 are provided, and the content storage chambers 21 and 22 are provided. , 23 and the auxiliary air storage chamber 3 are formed. The peel strength of the weak seal portion is about 0.5 to 6 N / 15 mm, preferably about 1 to 4 N / 15 mm.
Finally, the content liquids 21C, 22C, and 23C are injected into the container through the discharge port portion 5 and the content injection portions 221, 231 respectively, and the discharge port portion 5 is closed with the discharge port lid 51, and the content injection portion 221 is inserted. , 231, a multi-chamber container 1 containing the content liquid is formed.

When the multi-chamber container 1 is used, the auxiliary air storage chamber 3 for storing the auxiliary air 3C is pressed from the outside, such as by holding it with one hand while the discharge port portion 5 is closed, and the weak seal portions 43, 42, 41 are sequentially moved. The auxiliary air storage chamber 3 and the content storage chambers 23, 22, and 21 are integrally communicated to obtain a mixed liquid of the content liquids 23C, 22C, and 21C in the presence of the auxiliary air 3C.
Thereafter, the blockage of the discharge port 5 is released, and the mixed solution is discharged out of the container. Alternatively, the discharge port portion 5 may be formed into a needle shape, or a needle with sharp ends at the lid of the discharge port portion 5 may be pierced and mixed as it is into an infusion bag or the like. Further, in some cases, when the multi-chamber container 1 is installed so that the discharge port of the discharge port portion 5 is vertically downward, the content liquid is discharged by its own weight without pressing the container from the outside, which is preferable. Since the content liquid is always filled in the discharge channel, it is preferable because the sealed environment in the container is maintained and only the auxiliary air is discharged and the auxiliary air is not wasted. In addition, it is also possible to discharge the content liquid remaining in the spout member by further pressing the auxiliary air storage chamber at the time when the natural flow out due to its own weight and the discharge is almost finished. By injecting the auxiliary air, gaps between the wall surfaces, particularly between the wall surfaces in the vicinity of the spout member, are opened, and the attached content liquid can be discharged.
Furthermore, in the multi-chamber container 1 of the present embodiment, the content storage chamber 21 is expanded from the vicinity of the root of the discharge port portion 5 toward the weak seal portion 41 that is the boundary between the content storage chambers 21 and 22 in a plan view. Since it is formed in an open shape, the content liquid can be reliably guided to the discharge flow path, and the remaining content liquid is further reduced.

Easy peel tape may be used to form a strong seal portion and a weak seal portion, and the sealing conditions (type of adhesive) Or, the material for the sealant layer provided on the inner surface side of the container can be selected as appropriate.
In addition to the liquid content (that is, the content liquid), the content stored in the multi-chamber container of the present invention may include a solid content (including powdered and granular materials). .
Furthermore, the method for accommodating contents in the multi-chamber container of the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment. For example, a content injection section is provided in the auxiliary air storage chamber, and the content storage chamber is formed by providing a weak seal portion each time content is sequentially stored through the injection section. It is also possible to perform the storage of the storage and the formation of the storage chamber in parallel. And, the contents storage part where the discharge port part exists is also emptied, and the weak seal part is peeled off to make it possible to discharge, so that the lid of the spout part can be omitted or mixed into the infusion bag on the lid It is also possible to provide a needle for the purpose.
