に設定されている。

例えば、互いに波長帯域の異なる光を射出する発光素子としては、赤、緑、青の各色LEDチップに限らず、混色により白色光が得られる2色又は4色以上の各色波長光をそれぞれ射出する種々の発光素子の組み合わせが可能である。

Claims (3)
- 一対の基板間にホモジニアス配向された液晶層が設けられた液晶表示パネルと、
複数の発光素子を有し、前記複数の発光素子からの射出光が混色された混色光を前記液晶表示パネルに照射する光源と、
を備え、
前記液晶表示パネルによって前記光源からの照射光を透過制御する液晶表示モジュールであって、
前記光源は、青色光を射出する青色LEDと、緑色光を射出する緑色LEDと、赤色光を射出する赤色LEDと、を有しているとともに、前記赤色LED、前記緑色LED、前記青色LEDの順で、射出光の強度が大きくなるように設定され、
前記液晶層は、青色の波長帯域、緑色の波長帯域、赤色の波長帯域の順で光の透過率が大きくなるように、リタデーションが設定されていることを特徴とする液晶表示モジュール。 - 前記液晶層は、層厚が各画素間で互いに等しく設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示モジュール。
- 前記光源はサイドライト型の面状照明装置であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示モジュール。
